The wall is hanging ornaments to describe the combination colors of glass you can select. The table displays the items you can select to make, either 2 small, or 1 large. It's hot in there but there are fans to help, especially in cooler Florida temps. Everything and everyone is in their place. One person works with the glassblower at a time, but others direct you where you can take pics/ vids of each person working. Together we made 3 Christmas ornaments, one vase, one wine glass, and one flower. All were different techniques except the ornaments. Of course you can't take them home the same day bc they're 900+ degree. But easy pickup the way they have them packaged and available with your name on them right when you go in. Vase and wine glass sit level, they make sure. Its all useable, just hand wash and dry.

Since we chose 3 different things to make, we got to see different processes and learn more about how you can make the glass do various things, use the tools, etc. We chose a drinking glass, a wavy bowl, and a thick bowl. Each of us was able to choose whatever color or color combo we wanted as well, so there was a lot of opportunity for customization. The staff member who worked with us was informative but also funny and kept the whole session interesting even during the times when someone else was making their item and the rest of us were just watching. He told us which items were a little more hands on so we could do more parts of the process as well. The items need to be held for a few days before pick up, but the pick up process was also simple. We truly had a great time and would love to come back.

The owner, Chrissie, is responsive, extremely helpful, and knows exactly what she's doing. For example, we had someone show up late that hadn't RSVP'd, and Chrissie seamlessly brought the child in, found her a place to sit, helped her pick her pottery and colors, and got her set up as if nothing was amiss. I was so happy with this experience. My daughter and her friends had a great time and there were no hiccups to be seen. I will definitely continue to come back for other events and activities. I Visited Painting with a Twist on Valentine's Day and added candle making to our session. We arrived at 2:30 to make the candle and the front desk was a pigsty. I was shocked there was only one person working the front desk; checking people in, making candles, prepping the canvas, and serving drinks. The candle making process was seamless, although we had to impose on another painting session to choose our scents. The painting portion was expected to start at 3:00. The instructor walked in at 2:30 and the tables were not prepped at all. When booking, it was expressed that this location did not offer BYOB. Midday drinking isn't up our alley anyway, so there was no issue respecting their policy. The front room became jam packed and seats had not been designated with names at this point. We were finally able to sit down and noticed that people brought their own alcohol. A customer asks the instructor if it was okay for them to bring their own alcohol and she allowed it which was very strange to me, as they seemed to be urging people to drink from their "bar" and had a no BYOB policy. 3:30 hit and class had not started. Paint was still being placed on plates, and canvases were still being prepped for the drawing. At around 3:40. My partner and I decided to leave. Letting the front desk staff know that we were leaving. We grabbed our non-painted canvas and they were almost in shock that we wanted to leave with the canvas. If we can't get a refund, we're definitely taking the canvas that we've paid for. We were told to come back for our candle, which we did. This place did not respect our time by any means. The service was pitiful and I can't help but think there's another reason why the service was so bad. No one apologized for the wait or even informed us of the hold. Would not recommend.

It started and ended on time. We had an option between 1 of 2 paintings. The instructor was easy to follow and we played a game - guess the Artist or Group name of the song played. I enjoyed the painting experience and decided to host a painting party. Registering and setting up for the party was simple and straight-forward. The terms were adequately explained and guest registration and tracking was made easy using a website link that they provided. The party involved a deposit, selecting the painting, providing a music selection and having at least 10 registered guests. The choice of paintings were numerous with over 1000 options. For the painting, I chose Butterfly on a Pink Moon, however, I chose to use purple in lieu of pink. So, I guess my personal art title is Butterfly on a Purple Moon. During the planning/waiting phase, when I had questions, I was always able to reach someone, and they were able to assist me. Our party was in the smaller painting room in the back, and I was allowed to bring in food, drinks and decorations. Just fyi, the venue does have alcoholic drinks and water for purchase at very reasonable prices. During the party, we played a game - guess what the instructor was drawing - and the prize was a painting done by one of the instructors. I really enjoyed the event and my guests indicated that they also had a good time. Our instructor, Nancy, was good. Overall, I found this type of activity to be very enjoyable, easy to set-up and would enjoy doing it again. I recommend checking out any of their events that are open to the public. The venue offers in-studio events, private parties, at-home paint kits and pop in & DIY. Candle making is an option that can be added on.

I bought cookies from the cafe, and my girlfriend enjoyed a coffee and muffin. We spent a relaxing hour at the table, taking our time to relax and talk. Another customer joined us and we had a really nice conversation about the holidays. Our pieces were left with the shop to be fired in the kiln; a few days later, we were called to pick up our pieces. My gnome turned out greater than expected; so good that I will not be placing it on the porch with our other small plants and gnomes. My girlfriend's pieces are going to make wonderful Christmas gifts. I wish I could custom make some gingerbread men and snowmen ornaments for our relatives that lost every in the recent floods. We will be returning soon to take pottery wheel classes, and to make custom dishes. Oh,,, while painting our pieces, I noticed that the brush holder cups, the cookie plate, and several other items in the shop were handmade. This is a great way to show the practicality of making things, and the creative ideas put to use.
