The owner, Chrissie, is responsive, extremely helpful, and knows exactly what she's doing. For example, we had someone show up late that hadn't RSVP'd, and Chrissie seamlessly brought the child in, found her a place to sit, helped her pick her pottery and colors, and got her set up as if nothing was amiss. I was so happy with this experience. My daughter and her friends had a great time and there were no hiccups to be seen. I will definitely continue to come back for other events and activities. Based on the course description this one was project based, basically coding to teach the game how to play rock paper scissors. They also had all sorts of culinary time everyday. On the last day they invited the parents to show us what they made and been working on. We got to try the treats the kiddos had made for us and see their coding. If you have a hands on kid like mines I think your kiddo would really enjoy this. They also take them outside to play out back. I thought the space was really nice too. It's very huge - open with different rooms for different things, and lots of long clear window walls. I should have asked for a tour because it's pretty huge and I believe host a robotics club. I can describe it as very modern tech environment and design. I definitely see bringing my kiddo back for more learning and enjoyment here.

She also has the patience of a saint because we were a needy bunch! She had two options for our painting - an abstract piece or a framed piece where you could write a saying in the middle. We were split down the middle, half the class choosing each option. Of the saying painters, no one wrote the same thing or her suggested saying. Bless her heart, she had to answer 500 questions and provide 18,000 suggestions for us! She did it all with a smile and lots of enthusiasm. You're allowed to BYOB and snacks, which of course we did. I cannot wait to come back and visit with Kaitlyn and take another one of her classes!

I believe it costs $450 for a party with a choice of 2 crafts and up to 12 children. You can pay an additional fee for each child more than that. They have summer camps and after school options for children. They had tons of options for crafts! For our party, kids had coloring pages to write on. They made bead bracelets or necklaces. They made a smoothie cup with sand,l and glue, which is a cute souvenir to keep in a Kids room. They also created a mini jungle in a jar, where they were able to choose an animal and other items and hot glue them together in their own mini snow globe-like jar.

Creative world in Avalon park was one of the worst mistakes I could have made. The management team…read morewas disrespectful and unprofessional. One of many prime examples could consist of: talking negatively about families behind their backs, or with other employees. The management team was also biased towards workers and students. You clearly could see favoritisms, and strong dislikes. One employee may get in trouble for being on their phone, while others get away with it day in and day out. One child may be targeted for a possible delay in development, while other children with severe behavioral troubles are overlooked, not given guidance to get the right help. Frustrations amongst the management team were often taken out on the employees which hindered their abilities to give the children the quality care they deserve. Creative world Avalon park is all about money. They enroll too many children at times, so they don't have to turn somebody away and lose out. Therefore that would lead to full rooms and sometimes being too short staffed, often resulting in the children having to be shuffled to a different room, leaving the kids with no stability. You may drop off in one room but that doesn't mean that's where a child stays all day. There was a child, way to young for a classroom, still on bottles, who had to sit at the table to have the bottle instead of being held, and having that one on one social interaction. This was all due to being over full in the proper room this child belonged in, and being shuffled to a higher aged room. Furthermore, what the parents ask or want is mostly a no go. Parents don't have a say if their child is on a bottle come a certain room, if their child still uses a pacifier or lovey, that all stops in certain rooms regardless of the parents want, or what comforts the child. Management was also lazy at times, not giving their full effort towards the daycares proper functioning. Examples could include: times passing by in the main lobby, where management was either on their phone, or sitting making beaded bracelets. Another example, even on extra short staffed days, it was far and few in between you'd pass by a classroom and see management step up and into a classroom to help it run a bit more smoothly. This daycare holds no value. The employees deserve a non toxic, supportive, stable environment and creative world Avalon park does not offer that. Children also deserve these same things and then some, in order to have the quality care they deserve, which is often hard to be fulfilled due to the treatment and emotions caused by management. The number of people that left creative world, or un-enrolled their children, is plentiful, and that is only the tip of the iceberg. I highly recommend looking further than the friendly smiles that greet you at the door when you walk into creative world Avalon park. There's better out there.

I've tried others like ladybird and Goddard, and they were ok. But nothing topped the Amazing atmosphere and environment that CWS offered. From being greeted each day with smiles from the front office, to the teachers (we love Ms Eva!), my son was excited to go to school to share the day with them. He did so many things like dissected an octopus, had a flashlight space day, and presented a project he made to other parents! They combined learning with fun and I couldn't be more thrilled! So glad they were doing hands on learning! (and not just drawing on coloring papers quietly at a table). This was hands on engaged learning in a safe environment and I wish my other kids had gone to this school too! It's typical daycare pricing and right on par with all of the other daycares too (think it was actually a little cheaper than Goddard). And they provided lunch and snacks. The communication and extra event nights were awesome too! They send reminders and let you know what's going on and I really appreciate all of the staff and caring given to my son. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're considering a daycare in Avalon!

There may be other items as well, but those are the three things I saw people making while we were there. The space is small and hard to find. Inside, there's one table that seats about 8 people, so just know there is a good chance you'll be sharing your time with someone else. They have a huge variety of scents and colors you can use for your soap and candles. They are very easy to make, and all 6 of ours turned out great. Keep in mind that the soap takes about 30 minutes to make and about an hour to harden before you can take it home. We didn't plan for that, so I thought I should note it.

As a fan of deals and fun experiences, this was totally in my element. We paid $25 a person with the discount and an additional $5 for paint balloons and $5 for two squirt guns filled with paint. We also got two canvases and we're able to pick our colors and got the room to ourselves. We had fun throwing the paint on our canvases as well as each other. They do provide bunny suits and visors to make sure that you don't get dirty. They also gave me a Ziploc bag that I could put my phone in and a lanyard so I could easily access it. If you're in the area, I would definitely recommend checking this place out and doing the splatter Quest!
