This place is adorable and my son had so much fun! I'd say it's best for kids age 2-5 and that love imaginary play. They have different sets around the whole place for your kiddos to enjoy- diner, grocery store, vet, science room, construction site, and ice cream parlor. They have a couple small climbing areas but these are for kids aged 3& under. They have a pass for $50 that gets you in one extra time free. Grippy socks are required and come with a day pass for $15. Each kids pass allows two adults to accompany them, and you must sign a waiver for the minor upon entry. We came here on a Friday morning/afternoon and it was not busy at all and so the rooms were also well kept. read more

The price keeps going up and the place just gets more and more filthy. I do not understand how this is ok with people. It is absolutely unsanitary. The conditions are filthy and disgusting. There is obviously no routine cleanings, I would be surprised if there were any cleanings at all! Just look at those kids costume pics and the stuffies... how hard is it to go to a laundromat once in a while?? I'm surprised because when this business was taken over by District, I thought it would improve it, but it was actually cleaner when it was Arcadia. I have come here enough over many years to notice that nothing has been cleaned in between visits. There are no standards here. Do better for the children and clean the place. Also frustrating that the newer bounce feature is only for 3-4 year olds. And the slide on the other fixture is too steep and stops abruptly at odd angle. Simply amazing. The most dynamic and interesting imaginative play center I've ever been to. Doesn't get too crowded and tons of rooms to see. On Friday's kids are able to look for a lucky coin and if found they can exchange it for a toy. The toy chest has a variety of prizes! Love it and will be back! read more

As a first time mom, I'm just trying to find the coolest places to take my child to let him imagine (and burn off energy). District kids did not disappoint. It's really quite spacious, the pricing was perfect ($10/kid and 2 adults to accompany), and it kept my toddler intrigued. The whole concept is really executed pretty well. There is a gas station, cooking room, vet experience, jungle gym with ball pit, science room, grocery store and a music room. The only thing to really comment is that some stuff is broken, like the cars in the gas station. One was missing a mirror on the side and well they are all pretty worn. It's expected for the wear and tear I'm sure that is endured by the kiddos. read more

We were trying to get out of the house but stay out of the cold too. We found District Kids and are now fans! We thought it would be overwhelming on a Saturday afternoon but it wasn't that at all. There were kids enjoying themselves but there was room for all to play productively. The kitchen was our favorite but there's everything from a science lab to a vet office to a gas station, bank, and grocery store too. The bounce houses are a plus. I recommend this to all our toddler parent friends...and it's a plus that you don't have to tidy up after playtime. BIG thanks to the awesome staff that keep things as orderly as possible. read more

I have been bringing my kids here since they opened under a different name. Now my kids are a little older and since we don't live that close we don't go as often. I brought my 5 year old for the first time since last summer and I was shocked at the changes. The environment felt downright hostile towards kids! I'm always a mom that does my best to pick up after the kids and leave things close to how we found them, I've always thought it was best for it to be a collaborative effort between the staff and parents and if we are lucky the kids too. The one employee walked around with laser beam eyes for misplaced toys or things that were getting messy (the normal creative kid kind), I was stared down as we played in the produce market and when my kid was running off to another area and I left 1 plate of fake food and 1 bottle of fake juice on the diner counter to catch up to him and announcement was made to "clean up your area before you leave". As we were leaving a little girl loudly dropped a plate of fake food on the floor and the employee just glared at her with so much contempt! It was mind blowing as it was just a little kid doing little kid stuff, if you can't deal with that work elsewhere. Little kids need places to safely explore, create and imagine and this currently is not that place for them. Many areas were also missing the toys they used to have. The bakery/ice cream shop was bare bones, we have more stuff in our home play kitchen crammed in the corner of our living room than that entire bedroom sized room. The small train and doll house area of the past was stripped of toys. No more trains or cars and a doll house with maybe 3 pieces of furniture and no dolls. The car area only has one car left. The really fun climbing/slide/trampoline area is gone and replaced by a generic open top bounce house. I was sad to see that go as it was one one of the reasons my kids have loved going in the past, my 5 year old did seem fine with the change at least. I won't be taking my kids back because it's never nice to be a paying customer and be treated like an enemy for just enjoying what you paid for. I hope they can figure this out and get more understanding and kid friendly employees. I wish them luck and hope they make the changes needed. We used to love coming here, unfortunately after todays visit we will never be coming back. We walked in and the only girl working there was rude from the start. She didn't greet us and overcharged us, even after I told her we already had grippy socks. She was continuously rude to us and our children. At one point taking a grocery cart from my friends child and putting the toys away. She kept insisting every toy was put away the second it was set down. Even went on the loudspeaker and scared another child there. It was a terrible atmosphere to be in. Maybe if management finds employees that like children and don't mind being around them, we will come back. Until then i would not recommend this hostile environment! read more

This is a cute little fun center for your little one. My kids had fun coming here. What was not fun was the price for adults. Most indoor centers like this don't charge for adults. I mean really, it's the kids that are playing. There are about 8/9 rooms for the kids to play in. There's a play room for kitchen, fishing, laser game, veterinarian stuffed animals, construction, airball, and ball pits with slides. Altogether the kids had a fun time, and it was better than being a hot Park. This little fun center in conveniently located in the mall. We paid about $46, 2 adults and 2 kids. In my opinion its overpriced but in fairness everything is overpriced in Orlando. read more

The preschoolers in our family had a great time at District Kids, so for that reason alone they actually could have earned at least four stars. Plus with the hot weather it is awesome to have some indoor fun activities to take them to play. Finally the price is right, for only about $15 kids can play as long as they like. The entrance fee includes grippy socks for the bounce features though they seem to be all the same size with no smalls for the little ones. Our recent visit we arrived an hour before closing and they kids really wanted to stay longer so next time, and we will return, we will get there with more time to play. Now the reasons I feel it is just ok are that lack of staff, cleanliness, and necessary repairs. There appeared to be only one employee who was charging the fees at the entrance, and she had to hustle to clean all the areas that previous customers had left in a disarray. There also appeared to be an earlier birthday party with pieces of busted balloons scattered about that were not cleaned up. The kids really enjoyed the little store, the play kitchen and diner and of course the bouncy obstacle house. The other rooms seems to be lacking supplies, like the car area and the science area. We were most disappointed with the "science room" with an air duct that should have carried some object through it and down a ramp. It was unclear what the object should be so previous guests seemed to fill the tube with foam letters and various toys that got stuck in the tubes. There was one slightly crushed ping pong ball that we saw some children get through the air tubes but not even sure if that was the appropriate object. Signage should be better and the mistakes could be somehow cleaned out. Next time we will just focus on the kitchen and the bouncy house and not attempt the other areas and of course wash up good afterwards. read more

I went here for a kids birthday party recently. My 5 year old had fun for a few hours. However, I think it is geared more for age 2-5. My child enjoyed the ball pit climbing area the most. The other areas like the play kitchen, diner, pet get and cars were more for younger kids. Cons: I wish there was more antibacterial dispensers. How often is everything cleaned? Diner area complete with booths, counter & stools, kitchen, pizza/burger/sandwich assembly line. Gas station with pumps, cars, waiting area. (Least exciting area for my almost 3 yr. old) Play area where different electronic games appear on the floor that require chasing & stomping. Small flowing water area. Pet/vet area was a fave. Plenty of pets, exam table, x-rays, & exam equipment. Bakery Sweet shop could have a used another bistro table or two. Also there was just a long table with a bunch of play pastries & breads. Could've had a few counters or display cases to look like a bakery. My little also enjoyed the ball pit, trampoline climbing area. She played in the home construction area for a short period. Bricks & blocks for building & hammers, other tools, & protective gear. A design table. There was another area that wasn't working properly so she didn't engage. It was $16 with tax plus I overpaid for a juice that lil miss didn't drink. We played for a good 2 hours so it was worth it to me. Located in the Oviedo Mall near Sears. It's a great place to take the kiddos to experience pretend play. They have several different stations: market, dinner, gas station, bakery, vet and construction. There is also a large water table, jungle gym/ball pit and an interactive floor. I do think a daily admission is overpriced as you have to pay for child and parent but I think the value is member price. Definitely worth getting if you are local. Something to keep as an option to have the kids occupied and unload their energy. There could be some room for improvement, the bakery shop lacks a bit of flair and I think it would be nice to have step stools available for shorter kids for the water table who aren't able to enjoy. They do have story time twice a day which includes a craft as well. Sometimes they will also special events just for members like an easter egg hunt. Overall I think it's a great place to take your kids. read more

Way too expensive for such a small spot! Both adults and kids pay admission. There's no one walking around and cleaning up or sanitizing and tons of kids come and go. This just cannot be sanitary. Plus it's extremely dark in here. I'd rather spend the money at the Orlando science center that's way more lit, has a lot more toddler activities and cleaner. This will be the first and my last time bringing my son here. I don't think it's worth the money. Plus the bathrooms are uncomfortable and small. They didn't plan the buildout very well honestly. Oh and what's the point of having electric cars that cannot be moved? Lol nonsense. read more

We recently had my son's birthday party here so most of my experience is from that. My 2 children were very excited we were going to have the birthday at Arcadia. I went in, toured it, and booked it the same day. I asked if they had invitations to be sent out and I was told by the end of the week I would have it emailed to me. No biggie, fine. For some reason my gut told me to make my own which I did that night and passed them out the next day. It was behind me but I still wanted to know why I never got anything so I called a couple of weeks later. The employee was very nice and sinecerely apologetic but I didn't get an answer. I went in and was told by the owner there must've been some mix up and "sorry." The party day came and all the employees were very friendly and accommodating. I had to bring my own ice (I over-plan and try to make sure the adults are happy, too) which I thought was kind of silly, but ok, it was my choice. When it came time to finalize the bill there was a small discrepancy from when I went in a few days before to get an itemized receipt to what it came out to the day of the party. My husband went to pay and asked for the bill to be reviewed with him and he was told that she already explained it to me. Since he wasn't there when it was explained to me, he asked for himself. Aside from that it was a successful party. All the kids enjoyed themselves and I think it was perfect for my son turning 3. The equipment is kept clean which is a plus in my book. They have a lot of Melissa and Doug toys which is nice to see so the children can use their imagination. They have a climbing play structure with a slide, ball pit, and small trampoline. I hope in the future they add a small gate as an added security feature in the front. Currently it's open, and while yes parents are watching their kids, kids can walk out easily. We purchased the annual weekday membership because value wise it was a better deal for us then a daily rate. We look forward to creating fun and lasting memories here. read more

So excited to get out of the heat and take our son here, but so disappointed. The place is so small!!! The activities they have could be fun, but everything is well worn or broken. My son loves to play in water and can keep himself entertained for hours, but all their water toys were broken or simply didn't do anything; like 20 rubber ducks. Also, everything just seemed dirty. Definitely not worth the price of admission. On another vacation we went to a children's museum in St. George, UT which is small town, and it was 3 stories with room after room of activities for about the same price. Little pricey for one day so I would consider joining for 1 year at $99 per person that way you can go unlimited times. I love that they have benches in each room for the parents to sit down and in spots where you can watch the little ones without having to worry about them. I bring my daughter here all the time and this is by far her favorite indoor gym. They have everything hands on for both girls and boys. There's even a water section that they can splash around and they have vests you can put on your child so they don't get soaked. If you're looking for an indoor gym for your children in Orlando I would bring them to this one. You won't regret it. read more

$16 for a child, completely unsupervised by staff, no organization from one room to another. Cupcakes from the bakery are in the vet center... Wet water table toys everywhere... the air wall doesn't have enough pressure to actually move the ping pong balls. Many of the toys are broken, old and worn, or missing pieces. The decorations and instructions for areas are messily taped up with scotch tape. My son had a blast but as an adult, I was expecting more for the price. My 3 girls have been bugging me to check out Arcadia ever since their signs went up at the Oviedo Mall. We received a gift certificate for my youngest daughter's birthday & I wanted some more information about using it towards an annual membership. So I finally gave in and decided to take a walk thru the mall with them one night. Arcadia looked amazing from their windows and so fun but was completely empty. I could understand why...the place needs major customer service help. Better yet - maybe people who actually ENJOY CHILDREN!? We stopped by the front desk, were not greeted, so I ended up greeting them. I asked if we could use our $50 towards a membership and a young brunette was kind and said "sure, you can do that" while a blonde curly-haired female (Mallory) was super rude, radio'ed someone on her walkie to confirm it's allowed and then never said a word to us nor looked up from her computer to acknowledge us. No one explained the different memberships they had...I just had to take a pamphlet to read it myself. We kindly thanked them & was on our way. The next week, I heard about their grand opening event and told the kids we'd be able to visit to see if they liked it enough for us to get a membership. The place was packed, it was obvious they weren't prepared for the crowd, it was unorganized & pure chaos. We walked to the front desk, a nice employee smiled & said hi to us but we were confused as to how we can get in to check it out & play. AGAIN, Mallory showed up with a scowl on her face & told her colleague "they don't have wristbands". I asked how we get them and it's the strangest thing but she never wants to talk directly to us?! She only told her colleague "we're done for the day". who in turn told me "I'm sorry, that's it for today." No explanation of how you even get a wristband or that there were a limited number of wristbands given out earlier. I had to find out from other people waiting in line how it worked. So that's 2 bad experiences and we haven't even successfully made it inside yet. Hoping that at least the kids' experiences'll change my mind about Arcadia. I really wanted to like the place but not sure if they'll survive as a business if this is the way they plan on running their establishment. Not impressed & Highly disappointed. read more

My 17 month old really enjoys this place. We came here on a whim and ended up getting a WEEKDAY annual pass. Its good for 4 people including your child. The nice thing is the kids have free range to do whatever. If they take a stuffed animal or toy out of a various room and leave it in another, it's all good! Arcadia was incredible!! My daughter loved every minute of playing in each exhibit. We have already gone 3 times so now I'm looking into a membership! Her grandfather and grandmother enjoyed playing with her too. It's those little moments that matter most. The pricing is well worth it. Especially the membership deals. It'll save me a lot of money in the end since we will be going over the course of the year probably over 10 times! I enjoyed playing kitchen and veterinarian with my daughter too. Not to mention she never wanted to leave the ball pit in the wiggle room or the police car at the gas station. She cried when we had to leave, that's how I know this museum has made an impact. The employees are also amazing. They were friendly and super sweet! They greeted us at the door immediately and answered all questions. The Grand Opening was a blast!! They had a great system which some complained about but I understand why they had this system. The museum has a capacity given by the fire departments. Since there were so many families they had to find a way to make sure everyone could experience it. So they used wristbands for every hour. A certain band told you which hour you can go in for free. Once you had the wristband you could get out of line and explore the mall OR get a balloon animal from the balloon twister, get face painted and I noticed coloring! Some chose to stand in line which I can see why they were frustrated but if they got a band then they could leave until the given hour! Mr. Richards showed up at noon and performed a concert. I have visited this place in the past and had always had a pleasant experience until this week. My son was bullied by 2 older children and even their mother snatched a toy violently away from my child who had been playing peacefully, even when I advised the parent not to do that to my son she laughed and continued to hand over the toy to her sons. The altercation wasn't so much the issue, but the response of management was. They acted as if the situation was nothing and even mocked the fact that I asked for a refund. My son was in tears and the whole experience was dreadful, I saw no humor in the matter like they did. I will not be recommending this location to anyone, it isn't an appropriate reaction to undermine a parents concern for their child's safety. I hate how they don't have a toddler section they just have it open for every kid age... my 2 year old baby almost got pushed and ran into several times by 10 year olds who were so rude, there needs to be a section part for toddlers and one for older kids, I hate cheap places that just bundle them up all into one! Perfect spot for little kiddos to explore. My daughter loved this place because we can never find ball pits here in FL. It's really small it totally entertaining doesn't kids 2 to 5. Right now they are running a one kid one adult for $15 so that was okay for us. My daughter won't stop saying ball pit so she really enjoyed herself. I have it four stars because there were some really really big kids they let in there and I don't think it was okay. Is a smaller area so it was really crowded with these 13 year old kids in the ball pits pushing the smaller ones. I also have a 13 year old and he didn't get into the ball pit just sat out and helped with his siblings. There's an arcade across from there so I think that would be a lot better for a 13 year old. We asked and they said they didn't have any rules for it it was more at the parents discretion but some parents don't have that. It was fun and my kids loved it but I was concerned for their safety in the ball pit area which I think they can work on! read more

My girls are 4 and 6 yrs old and love Arcadia. Each area (café, grocery, vet clinic, building blocks, climber, etc) has its own appeal. We like to come for an hour or two in the morning then grab lunch in the food court. We always help our girls do a small clean up before moving from one area to the next to keep it tidy for the next little hands. They do have employees clean up but often parents don't provide the supervision required to maintain tidy areas. There are signs for tidy up reminders. That's partly why we tend to go on weekend mornings. It tends to be quieter and tidy. read more
