Everything about this place is truly just magical. The thousands of varieties of plants, the various locations for photo ops and just being surrounded by beauty is truly something special. I had a beautiful engagement photoshoot and I would say the pictures came out lovely.

Visited Leu Gardens to see their Dazzling Nights holiday lights event. The valet parking is amazingly efficient for both drop off and pickup. The gardens themselves seem to go on forever. There are several refreshment stations along the path. Did someone say hot chocolate? Well worth a visit for a slow stroll on a perfect weather evening.

Orchids (Annual Plant Sale Weekend - March 14 & 15 2026)

Visited for the annual plant sale weekend since admission is free. Great weather for a springtime stroll in the Leu Gardens. They had a large variety of plant vendors with a few food vendors sprinkled in. Nice switch up to our Saturday day date routine :) Plants are fairly priced and sourced from local nurseries. Free offsite parking available and be sure to bring a rolling wagon if purchasing plants!

This was such a beautiful garden! There is so much to view, easily you can spend hours on these grounds. The flowers were so vibrant and the sculptures surrounding were incredible. I recommend a visit!

Really beautiful gardens. It's pretty affordable to get in and you can spend hours just walking around here. If you love being in nature and walking around, this is definitely a good place to visit. They are hidden gazebos and benches all throughout the park that you can sit down and relax on while taking in all the views. We didn't end up making it into the museum. However, we'll definitely go back for another trip to try to get in. We were able to see different kinds of birds and butterflies while walking around here.

We went to the Dazzling Lights and it was fantastic! What a great job! This was my first year going and it was a lot bigger than I thought it would be! I will definitely have this on my list to enjoy next year!

The Highlights: The Harry P Leu Gardens - beautiful & well maintained. Clean bathrooms & nice gift shop. Great place to take photos as well. I would have given this place five stars IF the customer service was satisfactory. This review does not reflect on the gardens but the staff & customer service for a wedding venue our friends paid for to have their wedding. I would NOT recommend this place as a wedding venue. Our friends selected the garden as their wedding venue. It is a 12 hour drive from our location to the garden - 24 hours round trip with no stops. This was the most negative experience I had for a wedding venue. The garden is very beautiful yet it was difficult to enjoy due to all the problems everyone at the wedding venue encountered with the staff. It was a small wedding - the guests all came together & knew where to go EXCEPT us. We arrived earlier than the wedding guests and followed directions as instructed. We were instructed to get the information of where to go for their wedding at the front desk when we got there. We arrived earlier than all the wedding guests (who were together with the brides). The front desk received the names of our friends getting married and gave us a map - circling the wrong location and giving us the wrong directions! We waited there for a long time and it was a long walk from the front desk. We came back to the front desk after being informed by the bride that we were sent to the wrong location( they had to start the wedding immediately due to time constraints). They were at the location with all the guests who arrived with them . The same front desk lady we talked to told us that she gave us the right location. When we told her that we were informed by the bride that we were at the wrong location, she got on the phone to find out the right location. The wedding guests came out and said the wedding was done. There was no apology from the front desk for sending us to the wrong location and taking too much time finding the right place to send us. Our friends told us that they encountered a lot of problems with the wedding venue and the wedding services they paid for were not provided by Harry P Leu Gardens as promised. They said it was very expensive and they were unhappy with the poor customer service. No compensation, apologies, and corrections were made by the staff for their incompetence. On the bright side, we still got great photographs of the brides. Everyone was optimistic despite all the challenges and negative experience with the staff there.

Visited the first time on Easter this year and was so impressed by the care that the staff puts into the gardens. I then visited again for the Jazz and Blues spring concert and was even more impressed. It was such an amazing night and I will definitely be going to more events at the gardens!

This garden is absolutely stunning! What a gorgeous garden. This garden gives off such a romantic feel. Great for romance, photography, wedding, holiday parties, date nights, and so much more! We toured the garden in the day time and then came back later in the evening for the holiday light special. The holiday light special was out of this world. I've never seen such a breathtaking and gorgeous garden light up spectacularly!!! We all just didn't want to leave. It was like we were lost in another beautiful country. This hidden garden is so beautiful and definitely worth it! Come see it for yourself. It was such a beautiful and great day to start off our 1st day of the new year! I look forward to coming back again!

Dazzling lights was a great experience to walk around. It was a good mile walk around the grounds and took over an hour to see everything. They had live entertainment to see and lots of spots to grab a snack or drink along the way. The ticket on my wallet showed wrong address for the shuttle bus and a parking attendant was pretty rude. Found street parking close by and just walked instead. Give yourself time otherwise. I could see on a weekend this would be very busy.

Leu Gardens continues to evolve and shine not only as a perfect place for a nice walk but as a place to relax and learn about horticulture and some Orlando history. This time of the year is exciting because the seasons are changing and they are preparing for the up and coming Holiday Lights event. The gift shop has been replaced with a Foxtail Coffee Shop as well as Kelly's ice cream as well as a small shop with gifts to purchase. The deck at the lake is no longer there but the walkway along the lake has been enhanced with bird houses that resemble homes from different eras in the area and beautiful planters. Be sure to look into membership to this beautiful garden as it can be used around the country at other botanical gardens.

Very pleasant strolling place, nicely kept, entirely safe, very easy on the eyes. Worth going out of your way to visit

Want a break from the Orlando the tourist chaos, Harry P. Leu Gardens is pure magic. It's one of those places that feels like a deep breath. It's so peaceful, green, and absolutely stunning. I have an event here every year and I think the gardens get prettier and prettier. The whole vibe is serene, with Spanish moss draped over practically every tree. The Leu House Museum is tucked inside the gardens as a cool historical touch to the experience. It's an old estate that gives you a glimpse of Florida's past. Absolutely worth a visit.

I advise going before March while it's still nice during the day and into the evening. There are a few dining and beverage options - no outside food/drink permitted. I took off a star for unclear parking and large holes in the primary access lane/road. Additional signage would be ideal for parking. Arrive with enough time to park inside the designated areas. 4 Stars for location, location, location!…read more Eola House is a historic 1924 house-turned-rental space owned by the city, right by Lake Eola. It may seem like an odd sight in the middle of the park, but in fact it used to exist in a line of historic homes that were taken down for the park expansion. Now it sits alone, right off of the walking path surrounding the Lake. The home is lovely and features a sunroom, living room, parlor, outdoor terrace, upstairs area with a balcony, bridal changing room, and more. Recently I went for a lunch meeting in their upstairs space, the Summerlin Room ($75/hr rental with a 2 hr min). It was a lovely spot and fit our group of fifteen perfectly. I'll admit that I had been to the house once before to help with another event and the room wasn't set to the specifications agreed upon so we had to move and reset the chairs and tables right before the meeting. I remember the event organizer was quite annoyed... Hopefully it was a fluke! Side note- There is no elevator and the stairs are quite narrow. This is worth mentioning in case your event includes someone with mobility issues or who uses a wheelchair. As I was heading out I stopped in a room by the front and appreciated the array of pamphlets set up- ranging from history of the house to an Orlando biking map. There were also tourist pamphlets with the typical attractions (presumably for out of town guests of weddings of meetings). Overall, this is a beautiful meeting/event space that is priced reasonably and located in the heart of the city.

I've had the pleasure of attending a yoga event as well as a salsa event at The Balcony and both times I left wanting to figure out an event to host at this beautiful site. Though getting in to the building and up to the right floor is a bit of a process, the view that awaits is worth every head scratch. This is truly a Balcony, but much larger than you'd imagine. They've used the space for cocktail parties, seated dinners, weddings, fitness events, and I imagine a photo shoot or two. The space is available for rent, and I've made a point to take a tour (which you can schedule any time) to check it out when they didn't have an active event happening. The indoor space you'd walk thru for The Balcony is actually a marketing agency. I haven't been in several months, but it doesn't seem to provide a lot of weather backup space, so one thing to note. There are beautiful mantels on either end of the main room which we used for our event. It was so beautiful and intimate. We loved the historic touches which had also been recently renovated before our event. At the end of our wedding, our guests were directed to the lawn. We then exited down the sidewalk aisle into our getaway car. A wonderful photo opp! Easy to work with, they have a very fair price. Ceremony alone here cost us less than $1,000! Thank you to the club, and to our planner Kyle, for making our ceremony here so wonderful!
