We were not sure what to expect for the experience, but we had an AMAZING experience and made some great memories. There was a group of 5 of us that we were able to stop in and book our timeslot since online was only showing 4 slots. We had very clear and easy to follow instructions. The kids were both able to do their own projects and make their own choices for color. This is such a unique and fun experience and we will be back closer to Christmas to make some ornaments! There is also a table outside to be able to bring some snack and drinks.

Each of us got to decide whether to make a globe ornament or a flower. The flowers were beautiful, but I'm very utilitarian so I went with a globe. The instructor who also owns the studio walked us through all the custom color blends he makes for his glass and that was awesome. One thing that was awesome about this workshop for someone who had never done any glass work before was that he really wouldn't let us fail. Our instructor was with us every step of the way and walked us through how we should do things and would help us if things were going awry before it became an issue. He was very good at his job and answered all of my questions about his tools and the process without hesitation. He was super friendly and showed us an installation that he was working on for a show soon too. I really enjoyed this workshop, and it's awesome that we got to take something home. I'd definitely go back for another workshop. They also do group workshop events too.

Sonja explained the process simply in the way only an expert could. I needed advice on my earrings, and she helped me add a pop of green. Sonja was very informative, friendly, and encouraging. She managed people working on different steps or different speeds well. I never felt rushed during the process. Some people were back at class for a second time, and there were a lot of new people. There were eight people in this class. You got to make two necklaces, two pairs of earrings, or one of each. I made one of each. She had gold and silver colors. I only looked at silver, but she had teardrop earrings and pendants and circle earrings and pendants, some small and some large. For the decoration, she had a lot of different flowers, leaves, gems, and glitter, what looked like stickers but were probably not, and other items. She let us take pictures of the products she used in the workshop (ex. the brand of resin she used). It's a lovely shop with a lot of lovely products to buy but also no pressure to buy. I did end up buying some coin dishes for my desk though and a book. You can bring food, and I did. Autumn and Ro is located between Florida Wax House and Glass Orlando, and there is free parking in the back. They're right across from Santiago's Bodega. 10/10 would recommend. They also do a bunch of other classes as well.

To name a few, the store has clothing, candles, soaps, jewelry, paintings, and pottery. Many of the items are handcrafted or painted by different artists. I could tell she cared about the artists because she talked a bit about them and their work. There was some paintings of motions of water on canvas and necklace pendants. The store newly opened just about 4 months ago, so I am glad I walked by this store on accident.

Our instructor Sid was great, they were very helpful and attentive. We were able to make two small bowls and paint them after they dried. I had been looking forward to attending this class for over a year and chose to celebrate my birthday here with friends and family. We were all very excited, which made the experience even more disappointing. The class started an hour later than scheduled, despite the website stating that participants cannot join if they are more than five minutes late. There was little to no explanation for the delay. Once the class began, it felt rushed, likely due to the late start. When I asked for help, staff often stepped in and fixed things themselves rather than showing me how to do it, which defeated the purpose of creating my own pottery. I also asked questions about air bubbles in the clay and the firing process but was not acknowledged. This was especially concerning, as I later discovered that my bowl cracked during firing--something I was specifically worried about. Additionally, the glazing and firing processes were not explained at all. When we moved on to painting, we were left to figure things out on our own without guidance. The class is advertised as making a bowl, but the final product was much closer to a small trinket dish, which was another letdown. On top of everything else, they lost my pottery when I called to check up on it and it had to be found. Given that we spent several hundred dollars, I expected a much higher level of instruction, organization, and communication. The overall experience, combined with the complete lack of response to my attempts to address these concerns, has left me deeply disappointed and regretful that I chose this studio.

The two hour class went by in a flash and I left with a picture I'm quite proud of. I cant wait to go again! Our instuctor was Emma and she was awesome. She took us step by step, giving us ample time to finish each step before moving on. She also walked the room assisting wherever anyone needed. At the beginning of class we each put on an apron, Emma went over our tools (canvas, 3 paintbrushes, cup of water, paper towel, and colors...that was it!), and it was time to begin. About an hour in we were given a 15-20 min break to walk around the hotel (our class was held at Embassy Orlando), use the restroom, etc...Once class was over Emma took a picture of each of us, with our paintings, for their FB page. This is perfect for date night (while women dominated, there were guys), ladies night, birthday, etc...No food was served but drinks were on hand for purchase.

Let me start by saying that the event was sold out so the class was full. The room was loud which made it quite difficult to follow and hear the instructor. I have to say that our instructor did an great job at walking us through the different steps. She also walked around the room to help anyone who needed advice or any kind of assistance. She also gave us a 15 mins break to touch up/ finish up, refill our drinks, etc. My criticism for the class is as follows: 1) I felt that the room we had was too small for the size of the class 2) I think the seating should have been better arranged. My friend and I had our backs to the instructor making it hard to follow 3) I know paint nite is supposed to be a great time with friends but at the same time I feel it is important to respect the other participants so that they could also enjoy the experience. My overall experience was OK. I completed the painting but it didn't really look like the example because I skipped a few step, being unable to hear the instructor. I'd like to reiterate that the instructor was AWESOME and did a good job. Some of the participants were loud and it made it hard for others to enjoy.

We toured the facilities, the workshops, we actually sat down for some demos from the visual arts department, and then gathered around a kiln for a raku ceramics demo, which was ideal on a cold winter afternoon (winter in Florida?). Also, we were able to visit the gallery, which was hosting a photograph exhibit on the history of turn of the century Lake Apopka, about 40 miles away due West, and that was very interesting and enlightening. We also printed a poster, among other things. Personally, I think it was fun to talk/meet some of the faculty, not that I am immediately looking for a new teacher, but it is good to pick one who has some similarities, or none at all. Challenge yourself. After this visit, I will consider taking some classes here. Or come to more events. I really like Crealdé.

I've attached the policy as a picture.
