The prices are reasonable, and there are some good sales too. I was able to find vegan Mochi in many different flavors including matcha and mango. I purchased the matcha flavored ones and they really brought me back to my mochi childhood memories. Along with other satisfying products, I purchased their freshly made veggie spring rolls that include layered thinly sliced avocado, shredded carrots, lettuce and cucumber. The sauce that comes with it is sweet-chili flavored, and all the ingredients for everything are simple. The presentation is nice, and the rolls are well-held together. I don't need to worry about anything falling out, so it makes this a good snack/meal for on the go. Finally, the customer service is exceptional. I felt welcome, and the place had an overall friendly atmosphere. After a day full of anxiety, it was nice to have it calm down in this grocery shop lol. I even asked the cashier to help me find the items in the store that I was going to buy because I couldn't find them. when we're at the check out counter, he asks me if he can look inside my bag to make I sure I didn't steal anything. I ask him if he is serious. he says yes. I kindly tell him that yes he can check my bag, but that once he does he will lose a customer because I don't support businesses that racially profile customers. he says he's not racist and then proceeds to tell me stories about people stealing. I assure him I'm not a thief and that I don't care about his reasoning. if he has an issue with customers coming into the store with bags (I had 1) he should ask everyone (not only Black customers) to leave their bag at the counter while shopping. I would have left my bag at the counter without a problem if he had asked. but, again, I let him know he has my permission to look inside my bag. but that once he did, he would lose a customer. he did check my bag and got a look at my takeout box from the Korean fried chicken spot. What I was gonna buy at Nature's grocery story that evening I left on the counter and I haven't been back since. during my interaction with the cashier, a white woman walked in and shopped.q I imagine that she had no problems not if every customer is not asked to show their bags or leave their bag at the counter, it's a shame because its a block or so away from my apartment and I love the idea of supporting a mom and pop's business, but I don't support racial profiling. it happened to me, so I know other Black people have gone through it at Nature's and it's unacceptable.

When I brought my concerns to another employee, I was told she was new and just doing her job. I was also told that I looked good, followed by the comment that "regular people steal too." What does any of that have to do with my concerns? I was so uncomfortable that I left my shopping cart at customer service and refused to purchase my items. As a Black woman, I shouldn't have to feel like I'm under surveillance just because I'm shopping. I work hard for my money, and I deserve to shop in peace like everyone else. Whether this was racial profiling or poor judgment, the experience was unsettling and unacceptable. Do better, Whole Foods. Your customers deserve better.

OMG!! I am Totally Obsessed. I have tried SO many meal delivery services over the past few years. Each one has its advantages, but none were as phenomenal as Planted Table, as it is in a class of its own. The recipes are amazing and mouth watering for both kids and adults. I always get excited when the new weekly menu comes out. The food is delivered in reusable and easy to store glass containers. I appreicate that there is NO waste unlike other services. How Chef Lauren makes this super powerfully healthy food taste so good is simply magical. I always feel full and energetic after eating the meals, and no longer have a guilty feeling of not taking care of myself. The main reason I looked into Planted Table is becuase my daughter has Celieac Diease and she dislikes everything i offer her, but with planted table she is exited to eat! She also doesn't drink water. When she does she does not drink alot i am always telling her to drink water but she won't. When Planted Table delivers they give you two huge bottles of water now she calls it her special water and she drinks the whole thing by the end of the day! read more

I tried the food as a part of a trade for photography services and I just became a paying customer. But there is a problem. I am HOOKED! The food is possibly the best I have ever tasted. I am a food snob and I am very hard to impress. The flavor profiles are each so deep and so very different from one another. I stress this as most restaurants have menus where all of the food tastes, well... the same. I think that this is because line cooks are mainly from similar areas and they jump from restaurant to restaurant. They are great at their jobs but what ends up happening is that the flavor profiles level out and the chef's vision is lost. Not so here. Chef Lauren is truly gifted. I am craving my next delivery! Wow.... I am not even a vegan but I stumbled upon this food program. Friends told me the food was delicious so I gave it try. It is DELICIOUS. I have been ordering meals for about nine months. I feel so good eating, clean, organic, plant based meals. My energy level has gone up and I feel great. I eat about 4 to 5 Planted table meals per week. The rest of my meals are light and healthy. Without them my father simply wouldn't have the variety or quality of food that he has now. Senior care is something that's difficult. It hard to fit all the needs that are required and this is something you really don't plan for.
