There was no way we were staying in that house all night with my 11 month old baby and dogs. I was either getting us all a hotel room, or with any luck, track down an HVAC company in short notice. I called 10 different companies (all highly rated on yelp) and left detailed voicemails. Kevin, the owner of TX Star Srvs, was the ONLY company to return my call. Not only did he return my call, he did so within 25 minutes of my call, and arrived at my house 30 minutes after that. TALK ABOUT A+ AFTER-HOURS SERVICE! He was very pleasant, professional, and understanding of my plight, having kids himself, he knew that there would be no way a baby could sleep in our house that night. In ~45 minutes, he had the problem diagnosed, FIXED, and the AC blasting again. I knew that I would have to pay extra for the after-hours emergency AC house-visit, but I think it was a fair price at the end of it, and definitely worth every penny. I highly recommend this company! (side note... my bro-in-law is also in HVAC, he agreed that Kevin charged a fair price.)

I can honestly say that my experience with Justin Berry (owner) and the entire Coolinary Arts team was exceptional. I am so pleased with their outstanding products and wonderful customer service. Justin Berry manages an excellent team, including his "right-hand man" Dylan Hayes. I decided to go with Coolinary Arts because their Yelp ratings were far superior to all the competition in the Dallas area. My decision was a very good one indeed. After initially speaking with Justin on the phone, he sent Dylan to my home to see what my home needed in the way of a new Trane HVAC system to be installed with complete new ductwork in my attic. Dylan is very knowledgeable and has a very pleasant, relaxed personality. There was no sales pitch and no pressure whatsoever. After deciding what model (number of tons and SEER rating) would be best for my home, we ordered my new Trane HVAC system. Several days later, it was professionally installed by Justin's remarkable installation team. It should be noted that Justin and/or Dylan were present during the entire installation process. I am convinced that buying high quality equipment from a reputable company is important, but their ability to install it perfectly is MOST important. Justin's team did an amazing job of installing my new HVAC system and all the new ductwork. They also installed two (2) new air intake vents in my ceiling in different parts of the home to maximize my new system's efficiency. My home now heats and cools beautifully. I highly recommend Coolinary Arts to anyone who is looking for a new high-quality HVAC system to be professionally installed with no hiccups. When making a big-ticket purchase like this, it is essential that the customer feels good about it. Our most recent experience completely broke our trust. During our winter maintenance visit, the first technician said our furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and needed to be replaced. Concerned, I asked for a second tech. He confirmed "cracks," said the inducer motor was failing, and recommended an $8,000 furnace replacement. When I asked about warranty coverage, he repeatedly insisted the equipment wasn't under warranty because it likely wasn't registered when we moved in seven years ago. He also pushed replacing our AC due to upcoming refrigerant changes (R‑410A), quoting $20-25K for both systems. Feeling unsure, I agreed to the furnace replacement and paid half upfront. Still uneasy, I checked the manufacturer's warranty myself. Within minutes, I confirmed the furnace was under warranty, 40 years on the heat exchanger and 10 years on the inducer motor. I called Classic to cancel and get a refund. It took two calls before a manager responded. He processed the cancellation but offered no apology or acknowledgment. To verify the furnace's condition, I brought in another reputable HVAC company. Their tech explained the supposed "crack" was actually a scratch, smooth not structural and the inducer motor noise was likely from slight imbalance. Neither issue required immediate replacement. He also noted their techs are paid hourly, not on commission. I can't say whether Classic's technicians work on commission, but I felt there was a strong incentive to upsell expensive replacements we didn't need (conflict of interest). I canceled our subscription with Classic and explained why, but no one followed up. I'm sharing this so others don't end up in the same situation. Always get a second opinion and check your equipment warranty, it can save you thousands.
