Horrible service I booked an appointment and then the receptionist sent that the appointment that was booked for me was done incorrectly and they wouldn't be able to accommodate me. I drove 45 minutes to come here just to be told they have to reschedule. Now I have to wait a whole week. Yet all I get is yea that's all we could do. Now I have a 45 min drive back home. Worst location. Even with an "appt" you will wait over 1 1/2hr!! That is crazy. Even if they tell you up front. What is the point of making appts if they can't abide by them. I do not like the customer service here I walked in and there were so many people. They told me that my wait time would be 40 to an hour.

I am so grateful this planned parenthood took care of me for my first check up experience. The receptionists were extremely kind and patient with me despite not being fully prepared. When I first parked at this planned parenthood, I will admit I was a little confused as to where the center actually was because it is in a building with other medical offices, so I would just recommend clearer instructions on that. Overall, my experience was very positive. I really enjoyed the hospitality the members showed me, and I felt very safe to have all of my questions answered. read more

It sucks like please tell me whats the point of making an appointment? I got there at 10am appt was at 10:15 am wasn't seen until 12:45 didn't leave until 2 had to go into work late really 4 hours that's my whole day. They are either taking there sweet time or doing it on purpose how do you have 12 workers but it takes this long? It just sucks you guys should prob just call a local doc. office you will be seen way faster ! Especially with an appt sometimes right away ! This is the second time i've been to this location, they will never get you in at your appointment time. You will be waiting minimum an hour and the duration of the appointment time will be at least two hours for something as simple as a follow up. They should stop over scheduling people! I've watched two people walk out because they had to go to work and waited over an hour. read more

My nurse was literally so kind and my provider as well. Wait time was minimal. I was in and out in less than hour including treatment.

I went in this location as a referral from Kaiser, I must say that the receptionist at the front are extremely rude and honestly have no clue what they are even doing, I arrived on time but it took forever to get checked in and the girl had no clue how to find my referral and just spent time talking to her coworkers rather then assisting me. I will never come back here nor will I recommend this place to anyone. They called me after posting my review begging me to take the receptionist pic down so she's not targeted lol read more

SO nice and compassionate here. Especially Debbie! My sister came here for an abortion after having an awful experience in the Van Nuys location the morning before. They were so nice and gentle. She was very emotional before and during but they really helped calm her down. Very empathetic and kind regarding her situation the morning before at the van nuys planned parenthood. Not at all pleased with this location. I had an appointment at 2:15pm, and I arrived early to make it on time, and I waited over 2 hours to be seen for a UTI which is excruciatingly painful if you've ever had one. I saw nurse practitioners just roaming around in the back of the reception desk, literally not doing anything, and yet they had patients waiting in the reception area. The one thing I would like to add is the perception of the front desk from the waiting area. I wish staff would be mindful of their conversations as they can be heard in their entirety from the waiting area. Even as far back as the side counter along the reception area. Especially when there are people waiting to be checked in. As someone waiting patiently, all it's saying to us is that our needs aren't as important as staffs conversations not pertaining to work, and we could probably be checked in faster if staff was more aware that their at work. By far the worse waiting time ever!!!!!! This is ridiculous every time I come here is the same wait time over 1 1/2 hrs that's with appointments! And the ladies in the back just walking around and chillin like they don't have patients waiting!! You'd think it's because of the whole COVID but nope!! I've been coming here since before then. *so I'm coming back to update my review cause I got a call from the supervisor who genuinely cared about what happened during my experience she talked to me and explained to me the reasons why things happened and honestly the communication was all I needed. I stand corrected and definitely recommend this location. I don't know any other business that will take the time to call their customers after a rough experience. (But still try to find the girl with the pink crocs, again she's the best) * Went here twice this week once on Saturday once on Monday. Saturdays experience deserves a 5 star. Fast service, kind staff, easy explanations, answers questions honestly. Monday staff... is the B team. Super rude they refused two requested services and when I pushed for a reason why they just ignored me. I know they provide the services I was inquiring about because the Saturday team told me so. Also they confiscated my teal card cause they found out I had medi cal which is fine but I didn't feel comfortable them keeping the card I turned in to them and when I asked for it back they said "you don't need it" which just isn't true I've been without health insurance before so.. definitely recommend going in on a weekend. Don't know the Saturday's staff members name but she wears pink crocs and she's AWESOME. Hopefully you get lucky and have staff willing to communicate with you. read more

I love the positive affirming atmosphere at planned Parenthood. This was my second visit and both were good experiences. The staff are all friendly and on my first visit both the MA and Dr were rockstars. I used some terminology with my MA that she wasn't familiar with and she took the time to go Google it and ask the doctor for more info before coming back into the room to best serve me. The Dr. also came up with a personalized care plan for me based on my specific needs. The nurse I had for my blood draw was a little strange (she didn't have a table and dumped all the tools in my lap then had to grab them off of me as she was working) but overall I was very happy. Second visit the MA was clearly in a rush, she read all the questions off of the computer screen and never once looked at me, I don't think she even told me her name. They were way overbooked that day so I think it was more of an issue of the clinic being understaffed and rushed than her skill or personality. Dr. was also good. Only downside is the wait. Even with appointments both visits took me 2 hrs for quick and routine care (about 10-20 mins with health professionals, the rest waiting). They do take walk ins, but call ahead, if they get too backed up they'll stop for the day). read more

This is my favorite location, I always come here anytime I need women's health check up. They do everything from refill birth control pills to STD testing/pap/breast cancer testing. They're efficient and staff are really kind. PA Wendy was awesome! She made the whole experience chill and was very communicative. read more
