Dr. Sehwani's office is right across the street from Millers Women and Children Hospital (where you would deliver your baby) and part of Long Beach Memorial. It was my first pregnancy and she was caring, patient and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions very quickly via memorialcare emailing portal. I was so sad when I heard she was not the assigned on-call when I was in labor, but when I saw her show up at 4am I was so extremely happy. She definitely helped me fulfill my wish of having a natural birth without an epidural- something that everyone thought I was too crazy to do. Dr. Sehwani may be a great obstetrician, but just regular gynecology isn't her strong point. I came to her back in 2017 with what I thought was an unfortunate yeast infection. After a little more than 6 weeks of going to her, getting a test done by her (not an outside lab), and the test coming back negative; six weeks of pure agony, I finally just went to the emergency room. They conducted a full screening of possible issues, and sent the cultures to an outside lab. The test came back and confirmed that I indeed had the infection she tested for but had said multiple times that the test was negative. Her results were based on cultures she tested in a back room onsite. Just a strange unfortunate expensive experience all around. read more

To those with medical/Healthnet don't bother wasting your time coming here or trying to get an appointment, apparently they only want patients who pay or have copayments. I came today with an appointment already scheduled only to find out I would have to pay $200-$700 out of pocket for a prenatal visit...Im 19 and 6 months pregnant I can't afford that. It's really unfortunate I really wanted to meet this Dr and have my baby delivered by her after reading all the other reviews. I been trying to get an appointment since November I called their office spoke with patient navigator make sure everything was good and even called my insurance... I wouldn't have wasted my time or others if I had known this from the start. Had my first visit today after having a miscarriage. Everything about my visit went smoothly. I got called in right away after checking in 10min prior to my appointment time. The staff are all nice and helpful. I was seen right away by the doctor after getting settled in the patient room with my husband. We werent rushed at all by Dr Sehwani. Dr. Sehwani delivered our first son in July 2017 and we are so happy that we chose Dr. Sehwani to be a part of this life changing experience! Dr. Sehwani is calm with confidence and always has smile on her face. She always made me relaxed and comfortable throughout the pregnancy answering all of my "first-time-pregnant-mom-questions." Jessica needs to learn proper phone etiquette and more words instead of "mhmmm" doesn't look good for an office to hire such rude people. Susan is a manager who I was transferred to and told me i couldn't schedule an appointment with them because i posted a bad yelp review. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I can't believe I'm reviewing an ObGyn on Yelp, but she's that amazing! I came in for a basic annual exam on my first visit, and I told her about a problem I've had for years. She immediately had advice and treatment ideas for me. I've seen three other ObGyns in the past, and none of them were able to help me or give me hope like she did. She's very easy to talk to and listened to all my concerns. Another thing I liked about the appointment was that they give you a nice comfy cloth robe to wear during your exam instead of a paper shawl. The office is modern, clean, and very comfortable. I just felt so taken care of at this place. Another bonus is she uses this online system so you can email her any time you have a question. I used it right away because my online prescription agency messed up the prescription she put in (way to go, ExpressScripts.) I am so happy I found her!! I needed a new doctor so I searched and came across Dr. Sunaina on Yelp. All her reviews are so great that I thought can this be real? Well let me tell you.. I could not have had a better experience! EVERYTHING they say about her is TRUE. She is a really kind person, very professional and she made me feel really comfortable the entire time :) But it's not just that! Her whole staff made the visit an easy one. Ladies you all know that this isn't always the case, or at least not in my experience.. many times the doctor can be good but if their staff is rude or unorganized or just not happy to be there, then your experience will most likely be an unpleasant one. This however was not the case! Her receptionist went above and beyond to help me, they respected my appointment and called me in right away which I always appreciate, then met with the nurse and she was very sweet and patient but Dr. Sunaina was by far the nicest of all! Right away it was easy to see that she loves what she does and that she was going to take her time to get to know me and learn about my concerns. She answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed or silly for asking them. I live 40min away from her office but I don't care! She is so worth the drive and I fully recommend her. I love this gynecologist! I had a traumatic experience getting a pap smear somewhere else and didn't know it was possible to get one that's completely comfortable and painless. She's extremely sweet and knows what she's doing. She made me feel so comfortable and the pap smear was quick and painless. I'm so thankful I found her because I was deathly afraid of getting a pap smear but needed to get one because I've been having periods that last for months. This has been going on for years and she's the ONLY doctor that helped me find a solution to the problem and figured out why I was bleeding like this. I will definitely only go to her for now on.
