After relocating back to Rockland County, my friend and I decided - regretfully - to give Planet Wings on Route 9W in West Haverstraw a try. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear this was a mistake. The place was dimly lit and eerily empty, more reminiscent of a neglected basement then a restaurant. That should've been our first warning. The two staff members behind the counter seemed visibly inconvenienced by our presence. Neither wore hair coverings - and there were curls!!! And the atmosphere was unwelcoming. We placed our order and chose to take it home, hoping the food might redeem the experience. It didn't. What awaited us in the takeout containers was nothing short of insulting. The wings were laughably small - barely larger then a small pinky finger - with no meat to speak of. The skin was shriveled and brittle, as if overcooked in an air fryer and drowned in thin, flavorless sauce. I genuinely couldn't believe I had just paid for this. I sent a photo to my friend with the message, "How are your wings?" His response mirrored mine exactly. Had we not been home I would've returned the food out of sheer principle. We won't be going back. Not now, now ever. Rockland County deserves better, and strongly urge others to look elsewhere. read more

Best burger I ever tasted in my life. About two weeks ago i went to visit a friend up in Haverstraw NY thats about an hour drive from me since im coming from Manhattan NY, And boy let me tell you this was the best BURGER i ever tasted. This is about my 3rd time coming to this town, and i always end up eating Mc Donald's. Something fast and easy. But this time i wanted more, I asked my buddy what else is fast food but different, He recommended Planet Wings, We came here and i ordered a BBQ BACON BURGER !!! Best burger i ever had. The place looked very clean inside very spacious for sitting and has a great parking space area. I did not take a picture of the burger i was so hungry i literally demolished it. Will see you guys soon! thanks for the amazing experience. read more

I placed an order for delivery, 3 combos. it took more than an hour and was eventually delivered by a neighbor's son from down the street because the delivery person left it on their porch. When I finally received my order which could easily have gone to the squirrels by then, the fries were soggy, my wings were cold and I was missing a drink. The other 2 drinks I threw away because of how the cups and lids looked. I didn't trust it. I ordered a bottled water in addition that I never received. I will never order here again. Not even for takeout. I spent 50 dollars including a tip that I wish I could have back. I'm disgusted read more

First time trying this place with my husband. We were impressed by the modern and clean looking interior when we first walked in. They had a decent sized menu. We ended up ordering a wild buffalo grilled chicken salad and 5 pieces of wings in medium sauce. The cashier was very friendly and helpful and I was happy that I could check in to unlock 15% off my order. The food was just okay. It took around 15 minutes or so to make it. My salad came with flavorful and well seasoned grilled chicken mixed with lettuce, tomatoes and blue cheese. We both liked it. His wings were lacking though... the chicken wings were small, dry, and not too tasty. Wingstreet across the street has the best wings in Haverstraw! We are glad we tried it but won't be back read more

We patronize Planet wings The wings are cooked well The gyros are good Service is consistent and the food is good for Planrt Wings. read more

This little spot is perfect to get your wing fix, when you don't feel like driving all the way to the Palisades for BWW. My husband loves getting takeout from here. The wings are good and they have a nice sauce selection. I've tried their Oriental Sesame, Hot Gourmet Garlic and Montero Ranch flavors. My favorite would have to be the Hot Gourmet Garlic, followed by the Oriental Sesame and the Montero Ranch last. They also have burgers, sandwiches and Mexican options. I've tried their Chicken Quesadilla and Beef tacos. They were decent, but not great. They do the trick, when I'm not in the mood for wings. read more

Ordered a taco salad and they gave me expired cheese. Tasted so old it was disgusting. Had to throw thing out. Called them to let them know to not serve that because if I get sick or anyone else, they are getting into a lot of trouble. The kid that answered didn't say sorry or we'll refund you or anything. Just said okay I will check the cheese. Such a disgusting experience. Would not recommend. read more

Listen their wings are made with love ok. If you live close they deliver really fast.

Customer Service: The customer service is pretty much non-existent. They'll do what you ask, but don't expect them to sound pleasant, or like you ordering makes a difference to them. In fact, do expect them to have a bad attitude, that was very consistent between staff members. Delivery Wait Time: I'm not much of a good judge of this because I am very impatient when hungry, and I don't know how busy their store is. But from the time I ordered to the time my food was delivered was 50 minutes. Taken into consideration the time to cook a well done burger, as well as a 15 minute drive. So no big deal there, no complaints, it was right on target. Food: I love food. I do not love this food. I'm not sorry, I wouldn't do it again. It's pretty much the quality of food from 7/11. Generic in taste, their blue cheese sauce is like water, their bbq sauces lack taste it's a crap ton of salt though, everything was just generic and regular. Nothing stands out about this place. Quite frankly the best things were the fries and the fruit punch drink. I'd much rather go to McDonald's next time and save about $20 and get the same amount of food, and better quality. This place lacks quality! I'm glad I tried them, it's good to try new things, but I would never re order. It's a total rip off for crappy food. read more

I want to love this place but they make it so hard to. The food is good. They have great wing flavors and I love the fries. The problem is the customer service or lack thereof. Example last night 2/15/20 I tried calling in an order for pickup. Nobody answered the phone and it is not the first time this has happened to me. I called 4 times over 20 minutes (again this has happened several times) and nobody answered. On top of that, when you call and get someone, they are generally pretty rude on the phone. read more

This was worse Onion rings I have ever eaten. I mean look at that thing it looked like horse s*** in my honest opinion and tasted really really bad and saggy. I wish i can give it a zero star. Thanks Planet Wings for this awful onion rings. read more

Where is the ZERO? How about the NEGATIVE (minus 1)? The delivery was on time and all down hill from there. A complete nightmare! I ordered 20 each of 3 flavors of wings. Transitional Hot, Lemon Pepper, and Butter Garlic for yesterday's World Series Game One. Only the later was in the least bit eatable -- and that's because they were essentially dry fried wings with the greasy, oily sauce sitting on the bottom of the clam-shell container. The other 2 orders were under-cooked with the most revolting PASTE rather than sauce. Now I don't like "wet" wings. I prefer when the hot butter sauce is absorbed by the wings, but heck at least it usually dries out or you can do the napkin trick. You'd needed a chisel to get this crud off these wings!!! I don't want to be one of those reviewers who assign one star, because they didn't like the color of the parking lot lines, but reading some other reviews it appears that this rovolting wing "paste" is a normal occurrence. Meanwhile, I thought that they messed up my order because it was impossible to tell the difference between the Lemon Pepper and the "traditional". Who defines a Lemon Pepper wing as a regular hot sauce (or in this case semi-dry plaster of Paris) with a little Lemon-Pepper seasoning sprinkled on? When I called the store, the girl tells me that "everyone makes that mistake". If that's the case I guess "everyone" is wrong and this Planet wings has their own unique version of Lemon Pepper. I've been to Planet Wings many times. I've had them delivered to the house for poker. I've recommended them to friends and co-workers. Too bad they have ruined their good name from one horrible experience. If the Spring Valley location is still as good as it used to be, they should sue these guys to protect their franchise! read more

The food is typically OK. My problem with the place is cleanliness, it's a mess. Fingerprints all over the glass doors, entrance way is dirty and there is stuff all over the floor. Clean the place up, particularly in the Covid era! read more

Honestly I've ordered from this place a dozen times. They ALWAYS forget something. I get if it happened once in a while. I really get it. But how do you forget STRAWS EVERY SINGLE TIME I ORDER!!! It's just straw I know but when it happens everytime it's annoying. Not to mention I wrote it on the notes and special instructions on the app. AND IT WAS ON THE RECEIPT!!! The manager is never there. When you walk in all the kids are on their phone and joking around. It's a s**t show in there!! I do NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. I'd rather order from Dominos and that says a lot. read more

It pains me to write this review because wings are my favorite food and I feel that that they should always be done right. Overall this was just a pretty bad experience. It was almost 12 dollars for 15 extremely small, overcooked wings with globs of sauce on them. It tasted like the wings were reheated from a batch that didn't sell from the night before. There was so much sauce on them that I had to scrape it off with a knife. I felt sick after eating there. They also didnt have celery the day that I went in. I dont even eat celery, I was just put off because if you offer an item how do you run out of it? Just a yucky experience overall and I wont go back. read more

Wings are tasty, they have gotten a little expensive over the years.... average customer service

Great service and the food was pretty good. The girls at the front are very welcoming and nice !

Bread is always soggy when delivered. Because they put it on its side to accommodate the fries. Who likes soggy wet bread ? Not, I.

I ordered online for delivery it said 40 to 45 minutes which I thought was still to long. After 1Hr and 10mins of waiting I called to see whats going on with my order. Heidi blamed it on new employees and a lot of deliveries. I got no courtesy call to tell me they're running late. Driver got here while I was on phone with Heidi, and she asked to speak to the driver so I placed call on speaker and she was talking rudely about me in spanish, which I then replied I speak spanish, she hung up. I told driver I didn't want food cause it was cold he told me it wasn't to try it. I touched it, it was cold and I told him to touch it and he apologized. I called Heidi back got refund but no apology to I mentioned she owed me an apology for her rudeness.. she sarcastically said "well sorry ". The whole conversation was recorded on my Ring camera read more

My friend said this place tastes good so I trusted him. The food is good but when I went to order they were giving a lot of attitude, I was about to knock him out. read more

Don't order for delivery. Takes a hour to arrive cold & soggy, even though I live 5 mins away.

I love planet wings and order from here all the time since I live close by!! I recently fell in love with the cheese steak!! If you have tried it, i highly recommend so!! However, this past order was made horribly and is unacceptable. A quarter of the sand which was missing steak!!! And I noticed that if you ask for less onions you get SO MUCH MORE STEAK!! This time I forgot to say less onions and it was like a 50/50 ratio of onions and steak! I will come back though because one mess up is not the end of the world. But just suggesting you make sure this does not happen to any customer and not just myself! read more

Wish I could give a lower rate, ordered my food over phone.. for them to wait after I waited the time told to call me as I walk in to let me know they don't have my food.. completely unprofessional and the company and management should be embarrassed and ashamed of its work and workers! read more

For a place that is all about chicken wings it's absolutely amazing that this place stays open. Wings are ridiculously small while the price is way high. Taste is just okay. Again, if you're going to specialize in something you ought to do it right. Huge disappointment from a huge wing-lover:( read more

Garbage! Food is nasty prices are waaayyyy high! And the staff rude and unprofessional. Recently remodeled i hope they remodeled the food as well. read more

Great for lunch or dinner. Everything on menu is great. Sandwiches, tacos, wings, salads, you name it, all good stuff. My friends love when I show up to parties with their wings. Always a big hit. read more

Love the food but disappointment in the false advertisement, yelp has 15% off but they don't honor it.

Worst service ever. I waited over 2 hours on january 22 for my food to arrive and it never did . When i called the woman working the night shift gave me a completely rude and nasty attitude. Will never be ordering from this again and will be sure to tell my associates and close friends about this place! read more

Just left this place and I left furious. The two Mexican ladies were so rude. My order was over 60 dollars and when I asked her if I can get the bones less wings sauce she responded back with an attitude. This was just not with me it was also with the other customer that were there too. If you're not happy with your job then don't work there. read more

Planet wings used to have really good meaty wings but lately the wings are really tiny with very little meat and very expensive. You can go to a local pizza shop and get far better wings. If this is the nature of your business then have the plumpiest wings out there! The taste and texture has gone down and sadly I have stopped going there. read more

Maybe it was one bad experience but I definitely didn't enjoy it.The fries were stale and overall not good. The double decker taco was also not good and inverted. I mean how do you mess up a taco? The other reviews regarding the wings are completely true. They are the smallest wings I've ever had. read more
