    Biscoff Cookie Butter Milkshake

Ordered 1 biscoff and 1 churro milkshake and got two milkshakes that looked and tasted exactly the same. Both also had a nilla wafer on top for some reason. 2 milkshakes for $18. The shakes tasted alright but weren't thick like I'd expect a shake to be.

I love that this is an actual filling station, still with garage doors. You can eat inside or outside - doors were open for the nice weather but I'm sure the place is heated in the winter. Fun sign out front. The very friendly lady at the counter answered all our question and we chatted about the restaurant as we were deciding what to order. All 5 stars so far. So for burgers, I fully admit I'm a bit of a snob and hard to please. I was heartened that these are Pat LaFrieda style burgers: brisket, hanger steak, short rib, not chuck. So I gave it my best shot and ordered a TFS burger (caramelized onion, mushrooms, bacon) with two cheeses, cooked rare, plus a side of onion rings. As others have said here, my "rare" burger came out medium, so I'm sure glad I didn't leave it as the default medium. The burger was a little too salty but otherwise solid and full of flavor like good meats and toppings ought to be. The onion rings were not all that great - solid breading that drowns out the onion, and you don't get a lot for $8 (plus dipping sauces cost extra, unless you just take a ketchup or mustard packet). Verdict: I like this restaurant, but it's not enough to draw me back here or any other Filling Stations (all in authentic garages) without two changes: * When providing high quality meats, please cook burgers thick instead of thin so that they can come out actually rare for the best taste. * There were no prices in the liquor menu. I'm not even going to try ordering a beer (or other) if you don't tell me the cost up front.

The staff member the, Lana was really nice and we had a really nice chat. It was rustic, but basic interior with pent off seating inside and outside. My only thing that I would change is that there were too many sesame seeds on my bun, but I'll ask for a different bun next time that I visit.

Once again, I wasn't looking for anything--yet I walked out already planning my next visit. It was…read morea lazy Saturday, and my wife was craving Avena. I figured I'd also grab my favorite handheld snack: an empanada. This is a small, no-frills counter-service spot with empanadas on display, a counter for fresh salads and juices, and a cooler leading into the kitchen. After a friendly "good morning,"we ordered the Avena, and I went all-in on empanadas: carne de res molida, pollo con queso, pizza, pepperoni pizza, and pollo. She bagged them up, and the moment she handed me the warm bag, the smell hit me--fresh, fragrant, and impossible to resist. I could hardly wait to dig in. On the side, I loaded up on their pink sauce and hot sauce (both highly recommended). As soon as we got home, I grabbed the carne empanada first. The crust was perfectly fried--crispy yet still doughy, and the filling was so flavorful I immediately made everyone at the table try a bite. The same went for the chicken, chicken with cheese, pizza, and pepperoni empanadas. The dough was consistently delicious--some flaky and soft, others crispier--but every single one was a winner. My only regret? Not buying more. This place nailed consistency across 5 flavors, and that's why I'll be back. 5/5 stars.

Since both my wife and I love empanadas we walked in and gave it a try. The inside of the shop wasn't too big and in all honesty I don't remember much about it other than a heated display case full or empanadas and a place to order. After looking at the display case on this morning I ultimately decided to have one ham and cheese, one pizza and one pepperoni and cheese. Now I know those last two aren't traditional flavors but I wanted to give some to my twins and figured that they might enjoy it. In any case the worker plucked my empanadas out of the display and we were on our way only $6 lighter in our pockets. My first bite of the empanada really showed off the dough which I loved as it was light and flaky. The fillings on the inside were good too and both my wife and I enjoyed all of them with my favorite being the pepperoni and cheese. The bottom line for me is that I would absolutely return here again in the future. I really enjoyed the crust of the empanadas and also thought that the fillings were good as well!

Even family from out of state loves to visit Hogans! They have gluten free bread available and can accommodate that with my meals. I always love breakfast at a diner and was pleasantly surprised when I was able to have avocado toast with poached eggs today! Having a gluten allergy can be taxing on finding decent spots and not getting burnt out of the same options, but that has not been a problem here! Those not gluten free/vegetarian, have also enjoyed the variety of menu items. Many have said they have some of the most delicious french fries they have ever had. Parking can be a bit tight when busy, especially when 9W is busy, but usually it's doable and there are other lots within walking distance.

It was the worst service I ever experienced! For "okay" food, I think I'll take my business elsewhere!

I was so excited to try out The Griller after all the hype I've been seeing on social media, but…read moreunfortunately we were really underwhelmed. The Service: The ordering process went pretty smoothly, aside for the fact that the waitress had to ask a manager if she was allowed to give me a pickle on the side. But it's a new place, so I understand not knowing everything yet. Whomever served me my soup (it wasn't the waiter who took our order, it was someone in plain clothes) leaned over my husband, touching him, to serve me my soup across the table. When utensils were brought out, they were all dumped in a pile on the table for us to take ourselves. We had to ask for the check twice, and the store was empty, and the owners/workers were just sitting around talking. When you are a sit-down waitered restaurant charging a mandatory 18% gratuity, I expect the service to match and this was definitely not that. This is the kind of service I'd get at a fast food takeout. The Food: I'm hesitant to comment on the actual food because everyone has different tastes, but I feel the need to mention that I had an upset stomach for the entire following day. I can't say that anything was necessarily raw or spoiled, but there was definitely something up with the freshness of the food. The green bean dish was mushy, as if it was cooked in the morning and sat there all day. That should definitely be a dish that is made to order. I ordered chicken poppers, and luckily I asked for the bbq sauce on the side because it was more like marinara sauce with some spices. The poppers themselves were really good and fresh, but understandably plain since they're meant to go with a sauce. I ended up requesting ketchup on the side. My husband had their supposed best selling burger and said it was tasteless, but I will say that he is a chef and has a higher standard than most when it comes to eating out. The beef onion soup was ok in my opinion, my husband didn't like it. I'm writing this review knowing that they are a fairly new restaurant, and hoping they can use this honest information to make some changes.
