Planet Pizza & Wings is located in a strip mall just off Route 130 on Dutch Neck Road in East Windsor. It's been around for years, but this was my first time trying them out, so ordered several items to get a small taste of what they have on offer. The garlic bread with cheese (4/5) is one of the better preparations among pizza joints in the area. The bread was fresh and of decent quality, with the right amount of cheese and garlic accents without being overpowering or too greasy. Their cheese pizza (3.5/5) is decent, but nothing that sets them apart much from the 2 other pizza places within a one minute driving radius. I wasn't the biggest fan of the crust, and while cheese and tomato sauce weren't of the highest quality, they were above average and will likely satisfy a pizza craving. The chicken parmigiana sandwich (4/5) was definitely satisfying with generous portions of decent quality chicken and decent mozzarella cheese. I felt the tomato sauce (both for the sandwich and pizza) was a bit of a weak point, and the business could really up their game if they were to serve a better quality tomato sauce. They have a really extensive menu and wings seem to be one of their signature menu items, so look forward to trying some of their other items in the future. Overall among pizza places in central NJ, I would rate them a 3.5/5, but ok with rounding up since Yelp doesn't allow half stars when rating. Be aware that their prices are inflated over menu prices by 25% on Uber Eats, so you may be paying quite a bit more if ordering via 3rd party delivery services. read more

I have been to this spot several times for lunch and had a couple slices of pizza. Generally good but not the best around. I have also ordered delivery including a large calzone and it was the largest calzone I have ever seen, the size of a large pizza! Overall this pizza spot is good but I think the slices could be a little better. read more

I love all the pizzas they have the best food I've tried at any pizza place around East Windsor. You can taste their sauce is homemade and taste the freshness as well as all the spices they put into it. I've never eaten in the restaurant, but the ambiance of the place that I've seen is the ideal pizza place. The walls and pictures on the wall make you believe you're in an Italian pizza restaurant. This is some of the best toppings pizza I have ever had! I've had chicken tender pizza (with honey mustard) from a number of places before, but this one definitely comes in first. I didn't think there was a way to stand out for something so simple, but the chicken tenders were so crispy and they stayed crispy. We also had the gyro pizza which I surprisingly liked as well. It didn't seem like my taste at first, but the plentiful sauce really made this pizza worthwhile. I wish there were other locations as I would love to get food from here more often! read more

A friend had suggest I give this place a try. I ordered lg margarita pizza, 6pc smoke bbq wings, sm. mushrooms and 4pc jalapeño poppers. First I was greeted with a smile. The pizza was good, not greasy and the crust not too crispy. I may venture into their specialty pizzas and give the taco pizza a try next time. The wings were a good size, but the sauce made these wings soar. That smoke bbq sauce pulled at my heart strings as if the wings were actually smoked. The fried mushrooms are way larger than I had expected and delicious especially with that Wasabi ranch. Jalapeño poppers were just that. I was glad they came with buffalo dipping sauce. I decided to try planet pizza and wings for the first time after the new owners. I had a hankering for wings so I figured I would have lunch there. Today is a particularly hot day, 93° to be precise. I walked through the doors and there was not much of a change in temperature. It was very warm inside. Ordered the 911 wings on the dare with my 12-year-old son and two large regular pizzas. Two for $20 deal we got a large with half pepperoni and half plain and another with pineapple and jalapeño. Pies were solid and the wings though they were not as hot as Hells Gate were solid as the spice trickled in gradually until the heat took over and the pain factor kicked in :). The pizza is good but not mind blowing. They make up for this by having a great staff. I go in probably 2-3 times a month and often they offer free drinks for me which is nice. I didn't know that they didn't use pork products at first but I was surprised by how good the beef substitute is for sausage and pepperoni. read more

Disgusting. I ordered wings for lunch. It came with three clear baggies of celery. Every bag was full of brown slimy celery. This place is awesome. Pizza is great, with many unique options to chose from. My favorite kind of pizza is thin with a nice sturdy crust, and this pizza place delivers just that. My husband and I have both ordered from here for delivery and take out. Inside of the location is pretty nice also. It is quite spacious inside for a pizzeria. Their sandwiches are quite good as well, my favorite in particular is the pesto grilled chicken. I haven't tried their wings yet but that will be next item to try on their menu. read more
