Walked in with no appointment and they immediately took me and my +1 in. (This was amazing cause we were just turned down at different nail salon down the street) Megan did a marvelous job on my regular pedicure. Very thorough and took her time. My feet looked perfect even prior to the nail polish color. Mary worked on my dip polish, surprisingly did not use the blue light so I was a bit nervous but they actually came out perfect. Their bathrooms were extremely clean (a plus) Cons: shopping center is a bit ugly, location is pretty average inside. Not boujee. Very long wait in between pedi/mani. I walked into Planet Nails about 2:45pm on a Wednesday. I was seated right away, picked my color, and away she went. I requested a gel manicure and a basic pedicure. The prices were standard. One person worked on my nails and did a great job and a young guy worked on my pedi. They have 10 manicure stations and 10 pedicure stations. They offer drinks including water and soda. There are 3 TV s to entertain you or you can just lay back and relax in that awesome massage chair. The staff is friendly and fast. They did piss me off; however, because when I went up to the counter to pay, they charged me for a gel pedicure when I requested a basic pedicure. They insisted that they told me. I didn't feel like continuing to argue. They got me once but they won't get me again. read more

Planet Nails always does an amazing job no matter who is doing your nails. I've had 2 different ladies over the past 2 times I've gone and they both did phenomenal jobs. I came here based off the reviews, I had made an appointment for 6pm and I arrived on time. I still had to wait 30 mins to be addressed. My nail techs name was Mary she was very nice. I wanted to get acrylic as a fill as I previously had acrylic. She insisted on gel gel gel after telling her no she proceeded to tell me that gel was the only thing that would work for my fingers (I was a little peeved as it's a $13 difference in a gel color vs acrylic but nevertheless we went with gel. I wasn't too happy as she provided me w various colors and finally I settled on one to be told that the color would be an additional $10 so I said forget it and felt super pressured to pick a color so I went with a glitter purple similar to the original color I wanted. Needless to say I do not like this color at all but the work is fine. Afterwards I was placed in a massage chair to wait for my pedicure. As I write this review I'm still waiting for my pedicure it's been about 15 mins of just me sitting here waiting in what is now luke warm to cold pedi water ‍ I was offered a beverage which somewhat lessened the blow of just waiting around. I don't know if I'll return, the reviews raved about the pedicures here that they are the best.... Well Nikki was the one who gave me my pedicure and I will agree this was by far the more detailed 1 hr + pedicure. I got the Hawaiian which was $35 and Nikki was so nice and took such great care of me and gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. I would recommend this place but for sure schedule an appointment and leave a little extra time. read more

Love this place! I went to many nail salons in Orlando and could never find a salon that my nails would not lift. I tried this place and it was the best my nails are put on so good they've never lived in they don't fall off. The pedicures are also very amazing they take the time to clean your feet so well and it lasts so long. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a quality nail salon. Im giving this place two stars because not every experience has been as awful as my last visit. Around Easter, I decided to mix it up and pick a variety of colors. I had what I believe the owner doing them. Anyhow, I picked gel and I noticed one of the colors didn't match. The entire time I kept making comments and I felt i was in a hostile environment so I didn't even bother trying to change the color, instead I went home and painted over my $35 gel nails. I've been going to Planet Nails consistently for over a year now. I used to see Nyugen, who was amazing and so sweet. Since she left I've been taken care of by Liani and Nancy and they both are incredible. They also have loyalty cards so I've been able to get a couple of discounted services. Plus, college students can get a discount. I usually get a gel manicure and regular pedicure and I have never been disappointed with my nails. I told the lady I wanted my natural nails filed in a coffin shape and she looked at me like I was crazy I had to pull up a picture to show her what it was. There's no way I should have to tell you how to shape nails when you do nails for a living. The paint job was also atrocious and uneven and she kept putting my hands back under the black light to cure after every single finger. This is my nail salon... I love the one woman Nicky. She does great work. I started bringing my family there. My husband goes there without me because of the great work. I spend a lot of money and I'm a great tipper. Nicky is busy a lot so I decided to give the guy a try. First time he was good the next 2 times were awful. I pointed out that my one nail didn't have much white on it compared to the others. Basically he filed it down to much. He got mad at me and said I have to take it all off and start over if you want more white. I'm paying for pink and white nails!!!!! He was rude and did not deserve any tip. Awful. The nail tech had no clue how to take off my dip powder and buffed my nails so thin. It took her nearly 45 minutes to remove my nail polish, a job that could have only taken 10 minutes. She then filed my nails. They are completely misshapen, not all the same length or shape whatsoever. Then it came time to apply the new dip powder. She clearly had no idea what she was doing. My nails are not smooth whatsoever and somehow despite globing the powder on my nails, one of them has already cracked within just a couple days. I'm absolutely disappointed as my nails are no longer healthy and long like they were before I made the mistake of coming here. read more
