I really like this restaurant, when I went I had the steet corn (8/10) it had coleslaw at the bottom but was still fresh and delicious. I also got the chili cheese fries & that's by far my favorite (10/10) the staff is friendly and very inviting yet chill, there's a lot of potential for this place to blow up especially because of the space they have. Was really disappointed...I was excited to try this place but when I walked in no one was at the counter, waited for about 5 mins before someone came to the counter. While waiting for my food I was told the normal cook had left so they had another cook take his place for the night which was causing the delay. Burger was greasy like and not that great. Price doesn't match Quality or Quantity of food At all . Staff wasn't too knowledgeable in regards to what they were serving. What type of cheese and milk they use should be an easy answer aside from "it's vegan" .. the meat is it soy? is it plant based? It makes a difference when "vegan spots" buy packaged food that is technically vegan but just as processed as regular products., same with the milk . Ordered the nachos ,tacos ,taquitos greens and the mac n cheese (was the best tasting option) All for supporting local businesses but definitely a rip off in my opinion. First and last time I'd buy food there . Maybe they needed a bit more time to get settled in.. or the kitchen was just having a bad day ...I've eaten at finer locations better tasting and high quality ingredients for WAY cheaper which seems unfair considering where this place is located. I went today and got the meat tacos which are actually beans and I could not tell that they were not meat. They were so good, the seasoning and flavor was outstanding. The chef recommended these tacos and I am glad I got them. Service was great. I got the cucumber mint drink and the guy let me try it before I ordered it. This place is close to my factory. Its is amazing vegan food!! The owners are hands on so quality of the food is great, they have juice bar too. Came by to learn what's new.. this is an all Vegan restaurant and you can feel Compton culture in there. I ordered taquitos, cucumber water, and a cinnamon roll- $28... for $28 bucks I'd expect at the very minimum tasty food. The taquitos were on the salty side and it was a small portion. For $28 bucks you could have added beans, rice or greens to make the plate look better. Some of the staff was friendly and some carried arrogant demeanor . The cucumber water was extremely sweet but I just asked for extra ice. Although I ordered the cinnamon roll, I received a slice of the sweet potato cake .... Which was amazing... all in all it is nice to see restaurants like this open up in Compton and I'm sure it will take a while to work out kinks - Im going back for another slice of that cake! read more

I ordered food delivery here a couple times and they don't secure the food. Anyone can dig in without you knowing. I placed an order last night and even called them and a young lady answered she agreed that she'd at least tape my bag down and still didn't. Highly disappointed paying customer who unfortunately will no longer order food delivery from here. I'd rather be safe than sorry as these are strangers who are picking up and delivering our food. This place is special. In a historically underserved community, it truly warms my heart to see not only a vegan restaurant, but a business focused on health, wellness, and education. While I waited for my food, Anthony (who is an absolute delight) gave me a tour of the massive space. Showcasing local craftsmen and artists, the space is dedicated to serving the community. Part of the space is a store with clothing and even Nike dunks. Another part of the store is a juice bar/ dinjng area. And then finally there is a lounge and a designated space where local artisans are able to sell their products. The whole facility is brightly painted with murals of iconic movie scenes, musicians, athletes, and local community influencers. THE FOOD. I've been vegan for over 10 years and have never, Ever had such a perfect vegan meal. The buffalo sandwich (made with mushrooms), the mac and cheese, coleslaw and sweet potato cake. I'm not sure what my favorite item was because I enjoyed it all equally! I would post a picture but the food was gone within about 10 seconds. This place is truly special and I will continue to support this gem forever! Kudos to anthony for having such an amazing attitude and being an enthusiastic and charismatic member of the vegan community! Love the energy in this establishment, the customer service is pleasant. I've been here twice. The first time I got a lobster roll and chili cheese fries and ordered the fried oyster mushroom and fries for my child. The lobster roll and oyster mushrooms were extremely salty, and the roll could use some fresh veggies added. The second time I came I got a burrito, fries, and the "chicken" plate. Which had oyster mushrooms, mac n cheese, sweet potatoes. The burrito was really good, the plate was not. I didn't enjoy anything about it. I ultimately think they need to adjust the recipes or maybe consider hiring a different chef. That's the only missing piece to make this restaurant what it should be. read more

The decor is absolutely awesome, classy and modern! I'm looking forward to a second visit so that I can explore different food selections which are not fried. The chicken wasn't as I had hoped. The greens were extremely salty and I could not eat them, as I have high blood pressure. A couple of spoonfuls gave me a terrible headache. First visit was not worth what I paid. Got the wings and fries and fish and chips... I was not a fan of the wings. It was not nasty it just didn't live up to my expectations but the fish and chips I can eat all day just a little salty but they blew me away with this. Also, got the strawberry and blueberry lemonades. I felt it could be better if the did not use that nasty tap water or had a filter. We arrived at 7:30 pm to only be told on a Friday night that the restaurant is closed! The grill was turned off-- Who does that? I try to support our brothers/sisters' establishments but that's not business-- instead I'm at a Mexican Restaurant in Carson to enjoy a meal on a Friday night. I'm a business woman but not everyone is business minded... we need to do better in the community to gain respect and wealth. You close the doors at the posted time and stay until 9:00pm or later to close the kitchen behind the scenes....at least that is the tradition! read more

Tried this place for the first time today while they had their grand opening event. I honestly can't find one good thing to say about my experience. The food and drinks were very mediocre. The security was rude as well as seemingly racist screaming into the crowd that he doesn't speak Spanish and that it doesn't look like anybody understands English. The man handling the drinks was also extremely unprofessional. I overheard another customer asking for the drink they ordered because it had been a while that he was waiting. The man serving the drinks responded with "And?? I don't know your order. You need to speak with someone else." Then proceeded to complain and cuss about how he didn't want to make the drinks.
