So was able to get some additional items and information. Got the individual cups of protein and left and went to eat soup and was so full. Actually felt stuffed. Today was my first visit. A friend of mine whom use to be hardcore hearlballife recommended it. The owner Cindy is extremely informative and personable. The store with the products is just a few doors down. There's a lovely younglady who's the cashier and knowledgeable about the products. I purchased some iodine, meal replacement and also bee pollen Granules. Will update my review once I start taking the products

Our go to spot. Hubby started going here in early 2019 for supplements for sciatica and weight loss and somehow I got sciatica and hip pain in Jan 2020. Nothing helped so I went to see Cindy, since he raved about her. She was so knowledgeable and showed us exactly where to massage and how deep to get into the source of my pain. She recommended some supplements and gave me a D3 shot. I started getting custom hibiscus tea blends as well to help with my blood pressure. We're taking iodine and the top dog blending doing yoga which helped out more than physical therapy and pain meds. Kuddos to Eat Wise!!!

I stumbled across Eat Wise, I was at my local gym and just happened one day to be talking to one of the owners about a proteins and supplements. He mentioned Iodine and the benefits of taking it especially when your over 50. I asked where to buy and he said Eat Wise. I wrote down in my notes and in the way home I went searching for it. It's 2mins from the gym! I went inside and had a beautiful conversation with Alexa, she knows her stuff and can tell you what superfood to get for any specific ailment. I bought the Iodine and ordered the custom Vegan Protein Powder. They don't carry the Vegan on the shelf and I can't drink Whey because I'm lactose intolerant and Whey is from cow milk. I also visited their PBC weight loss clinic which is 2 doors down. I met Cindy the NP that runs it and gives the infusions & injections. I decided to get the Nutritional Blend and I have been getting it once a month since. All I all I recommend Eat Wise and the PBC W L Clinic as my one stop for all things natural. They even have Alkaline Water so bring your jugs, it cost $1 per jug to fill. read more

The service by Nurse Cindy was superb. She provided valuable health education. I purchased the Over All Body Blend for women. It gets me full whether I take it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This product has been shared with my family as well. The store was also clean. read more

This is a great place to buy many Nutritional powders and get advice on being a healthier person. Eat Wise also sale Alkaline water $1 a gallon as well as other options for oxygen therapy or IV therapy of various kinds. Come in and look around. The people are nice and informative. read more

Parking was easy, and when we walked in, there was only one occupied table. Three employees were chatting in the back. We were greeted, but it felt more like, "What would you like?" than "Welcome in." No smile, no conversation, no thank you--just a transaction. After taking our order, the employee returned to chatting with coworkers. When our order was ready, our name was called, the halo-halo was placed on the counter, and that was the end of the interaction. As for the halo-halo itself, my partner rated it a 2/10. It was overwhelmingly sweet and overpriced for what we received. We were hoping for layers of flavor and nostalgia but got a sugar rush that could probably power a small city. As a business owner myself, I understand that customer service is one of the biggest drivers of customer retention. Great products can bring people in once, but great service brings them back. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark on both. The good news? These issues are fixable. A little more warmth, engagement, and hospitality would go a long way. Until then, we'll continue our search for our next favorite halo-halo spot.

Aside from the pan de sal, they also have the best lumpiang gulay (vegetable eggrolls) in town -- perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. Definitely one of my absolute favorite bakeries in Carson. If you haven't tried it yet, RUN, dont walk.
