Do you love Superfoods, Vitamins, Supplements etc.? Let's face it, being and staying healthy can be quite an expensive undertaking. Nutritional Warehouse has Amazing prices on many items & sometimes they're much lower than online. One of my favorites, the 54oz Organic Nutiva Coconut Oil is only $23.99(online lowest prices about $30-36) I shop online quite a bit, & have never found Nutiva Coconut Oil, Coconut Manna, Hemp Oil(tastes like walnuts, and it's great in homemade salad dressing) or Hemp Seeds at a lower price point. Amazon, iHerb etc. are all more expensive on the above items. BTW, I'm sure you can tell that I'm a huge fan of Nutiva's products. They're a small company with integrity, high quality organic products & they support/fund important initiatives such as labeling GMOs. Too many organic supplement, vitamin & food companies are now being bought out by huge multinationals that sell mainly processed, unhealthy food. They are also against GMO labeling laws & spend millions trying to defeat them. Who would you rather support? Back to the review ;) If Nutritional Warehouse doesn't sell a particular product, be sure to ask Tony to order it for you. He'll be more than happy to see if one of their suppliers carries it. Also, he is quite knowledgable about vitamins, supplements, protein powder etc., and if needed, he'll steer you in the right direction. As an aside, the owner shows up from time to time, and generally ends up gifting me with a Kumbacha, a cookie, or some such treat! Don't you love supporting neighborhood businesses? Went here based off of previous reviews and proximity to my home. It's not glamorous or mega-sized, but that works in your favor, not against it. Tony is a wealth of knowledge and very friendly. It's apparent that he works very hard to make his customers happy and to keep them coming back. I give it four stars because the selection is limited, but he has what you need (just not four or five different brands of the same thing) and the prices are very, very competitive. So do yourself a favor, and support a local business that has what you need at prices you can afford. read more

The Nutritional Warehouse is located on Lincoln Boulevard in Venice. There are some free parking spaces out front for an hour, which is a really nice perk! The store itself is a little small but jam packed with vitamins and supplements. I think it was the owner there who was walking around and a guy behind the counter. The owner was a little quirky but both men were really nice and I felt that the customer service was very good. I was given a free full sized sample of a post workout drink to try. I came to the store in my running clothes so I guess I looked the part. FULL SIZED! Not some microscopic sampler cup. Nice touch! They held an item that I had called about a couple of weeks before. Gotta say I was not sure it would still be there as I had waited so long but there it was! They do take a credit card to hold the product but a friend of mine who shops there often had told me of this in advance and reassured me that she has never had any problems after doing this many times. I purchased some of my other nutritional supplements while I was there as well and bought the most amazing Organic Food bars...SO delicious! I wasn't intending on getting those but I was starving, as usual. The bars didn't make it home. I really liked this little shop and will be back to pick up more supplements when I need them. This is by far, hands down, the best nutrition/supplement shop you will find on the west side of LA. When I first moved here I was looking for a solid shop to pick up my go-to supplements (protein, pre workout, amino's, etc). I prefer to shop small in this category because the morons at GNC or Nutrition Zone truly don't know what they are talking about and prices are always jacked up through the roof. Not here. I never thought I'd find a store that would rival my hometown shop, but after viewing Nutritional Warehouse on Yelp and seeing the reviews I made it a point to stop by. Everything you read is true. Insanely low prices. Amazing staff. Quality inventory. They are constantly running deals or discounts on certain items - so be sure to check in often. I've dropped in on three separate occasions in the past 2 months and was able to score a bottle of fish oils ($5), a box of 12 protein bars ($8), and a tub of pre workout ($15) from the various deals they were running. Aside from those steals, their store-branded products go for an average 25% lower than any big name you'll buy - and the quality is the same from my experience. Never did I think I'd be able to buy a 5lb tub of protein for only $35. Tony the GM is incredibly nice and very knowledgeable about practically every product they carry. So be sure to introduce yourself and tell him what you're there for. All in all, I can't say enough good things about this place.
