Most of the fruit I wanted was either gone or in limited supply. So I had to be creative in choosing what I wanted. For the most part, I bought some mangoes. They were delicious. I also bought some ginger, which was fantastic, and watermelon, which I haven't tried yet. The store is small. It kind gives off an old country vibe. The service was nice and formal. We came here today looking for a good watermelon and even though the season is coming to an end we were able to find one. The gentleman asked a couple questions and went to the box and quickly chose one for us. They have other produce to choose from as well as lotions. I will be coming back for some sourdough bread and another watermelon because it was definitely the best one we have had by far all summer long. read more

Typical business owned by people who look like me. Says it's open at 10 I pull up at 10:48 and guess who's NOT there???? You guessed it!!! Them!! no sign of them anywhere. Pathetic yet not surprising. Green roll up gates locked up like a maximum security prison and empty watermelon boxes scattered about. Sure enough though the liquor store next door was opened on time getting to the money and servicing the drunkards. They preach all this "we don't have grocery stores" "we don't have decent fruits" "Allah this Allah that but can't even be prompt and ready to go to service the people in their own business. It's mind boggling.. maybe they'll finally roll out of bed and get there by 3. Hopefully when they finally wake up and make it to work they'll clean up around the place. It looks like a dilapidated insane asylum around there. Do some pressure washing and put the garbage in the dumpsters! Do you not see how it looks when you finally get out of bed and get there? Heard about KK's so decided to stop by today. Lord knows I need to strive for a better diet. Wanted the smoothie but Kathy mentioned it would take about 15 minutes and I was a bit short of time so she recommended a pressed juice. Fresh and very tasty. I know you can't put a price on purchasing healthy products but $12 for 12 oz appeared a bit pricey. But then again, if that is the price to keep small businesses like Kathy's Kitchen going, then I will continue to support............or I may pull out my juicer and go back to homemade???? Kathy is an amazing lady, I called her and let her know I was going threw acid reflux she googled things that will help it and talked threw it with me and I decided to get green juice , ginger shots & over night oats. I was was across the street at the veterinarians office and I seen a sign that said healthy smoothies! I said why not let me check it out! I figured that it probably wasn't gonna be that "healthy" and I'd probably have to modify it to fit my plant based diet. As I walked in I was greeted with a nice welcoming smile the owner Kathy Introduced herself to me. I told her it was my first time here, she gave me a tour of the shop an selection of smoothies and juices. She was explaining to me about all the different smoothies and juices and how they were created. I've never met anyone so fascinated with smoothies & juices before . She had so much passion behind what she spoke about . She asked me what did I want, I told her to surprise me and make me something good.
