I came here after going to the previous location on goggle at: Central & Alondra - to which I discovered the business had moved. Once I arrived at the correct location on Rosecrans after crossing Bradfield Ave. (Across from the Car Wash) there's parking right in front of the store. Inside: We were greeted by Mimi who was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We spoke with Mimi from the store's counter. I would have liked to actually look around the store and explore all the items they offer --but that is not their set-up. Basically, you share what you need/want and it's retrieved for you. Not sure if it's this way because of theft or what happened compared to what I saw online at the previous location. Items purchased: + Organic Turmeric Powder + Cinnamon Oil + Green-leaf Detox (received with Yelp check-in) I love that the prices are more than reasonable and that it's a family business! I recommend and will be back. (Photo attached) read more

Compton Health Bar is exactly what the community needs. Dani and the entire staff are very knowledgeable, welcoming and attentive. I want to scream from the rooftops that Dani is an amazing soul! I will try to get everyone I love to meet with Dani. She knows her stuff and has such a comforting spirit you feel home with her. A friend referred me to Dani because she helped her with her menstrual issues and said how she does a lot of different herbal healing and is 4th generation herbal healer. My husband and I went to do iridology readings and wow! What an amazing experience and Dani really saw things in our bodies that we knew we needed treated for and saw things we didn't know but explained why we felt certain ways etc. She's really helping me with my constipation issues right now and has made me some tea to drink daily which helped immediately and continue to help, I've been able to use the restroom daily! She offers many services and I will continue to go back and support her. read more

I showed up today looking for sea moss in gel form- luckily they had a few extra since typically you have to order the gel kind in advance. They also sell it raw or in powder form. During the COVID-19 pandemic, you have to call to place order or do so online then they let one person in at a time to pick up their product. I tried the sea moss in a smoothie and couldn't really even tell it was mixed in. I will definitely be a repeat customer. It's a hidden gem. read more

Very kind and knowledgeable owner. The store looks great as well. Thank you for the sea moss, Dani!

A+++++!!! I must say Dani was EXTREMELY knowledgeable! I was recommended here by a friend and although it was a 45 minute drive from me, it was worth every minute. As a first time customer, I started with the Compton Detox and also purchased Raw Irish Sea Moss, Irish Sea Moss Powder, Black Seed Oil & CBD Sleep Aid. I appreciated Dani taking the time to really answer my questions without making me feel rushed. She walked me step by step and helped me create a plan that works best for my specific needs. If you're looking for better yourself inside out this is the place to be. I will DEFINITELY be a repeat customer! Even if it's not close to you, know it is worth the drive!! read more

Great product great help with the products and Dani even took the time to help me choose the right items for me. Good luck finding a better place then the compton health bar. I can't say enough good things read more

This shop bridges the gap between health food store and naturpath (sp). Unlike other shops that feel imposing or out of reach, this shop's products and staff feel surprisingly relevent and approachable. Have been using the 7 day detox for a few days and it has worked very well. I haven't measured my results but I feel more energetic but not jittery, fuller longer, and less interested in CRAP (carbs/ refined sugars/ alcohol and processed foods). Even with daily elimination, Ive noticed less bloat and flatter mid section. Looking forward to learning more and working with them on improving health. read more

I love the Health Outpost!!! Terrific family owned health store in Compton in the Del Amo Family Center (building with cool murals across from the metro blue line - they're next the Eazy E mural). Tons of awesome health products. I've used a lot of the weight loss products, and I love the weight loss teas and the house blended formulas - the gastro formulas def helps with stomach issues...and you avoid the side effects of traditional meds. Ask to make an appointment with Dani or Maria - they'll walk you through the different products and lay out a game plan for you. They're super friendly and very knowledgeable about all of the products. They really care about their customers - they routinely call their customers to check in on their health and progress. Their upbeat energy and positive attitude is on purpose - they want all of their customers to feel valued and important. Feels great to support small owned family businesses. There's a customer loyalty program that gives you discounts and special offers too. read more

My mom and I came to the Compton Health Bar because a family friend of ours recommend us. We decided to try it. All I can say it's one of the best things we have done. Our daily lives have changed with the products that were recommended to us. They are very knowledgeable about their products. My mom and I struggled with some health issues and ever since we started with the products it was a change in our bodies. Plus we started to make healthier choices. I say try it out give your body that helps. It's way better than taking all those medications that damage your liver or worst your entire system. read more

Great prices for quality health products. Parking can be a lil difficult depending on day/time I go here to get my vitamins and ginseng tea. The ladies that work there are very helpful and friendly and answer any questions I have no matter how silly. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area for their health products read more

Very knowledgeable and compassionate. I got the privilege of speaking with Dani and she took a holistic approach to understanding my unique needs and health history. I appreciated her validation of tuning into our own intuition and how we only know ourselves best. What our body needs is based on what the day brings and it's okay to take what we feel is best for the day. I appreciated this approach because this goes show how Compton Health Bar has a primary focus on wellbeing rather than a company trying to sell you a product out of fear tactics or the idea of necessity. Rather Compton Health Bar appears to uplift an individual by providing supportive supplements that are there to bring out the best that already exist in an individual. So thank you for the ground work that you are bringing to a community that seeks this support! Also: I am from the Central Valley in California so I appreciated the virtual access since I don't go down to SoCal much. read more

The Outpost is amazing. Their products are amazing. The owner is amazing. With so much of an array of products and health devices. There is no wonder this place is making delamo swapmeet a better place to shop. Located in a art filled section of the building, cleansing and detox has never been so steamlined like this. Custom ingredients and custom formulas make this my number one now. The price is fair for all products , considering the generic and purity makeup. Above all, you will be walking in thinking , I have seen this gimmick before. Then you'll walk away, not I certainly approve and will be back. Health Outpost is a winner for the community and a winner in my home. Visit , shop and be better for you, and your family. read more

I have been to Compton health bar for a few consultations already and every time I leave there feeling like I'm in good hands. I originally came in for an iridology appointment not expecting much, but I was shook by how much stuff this woman brought to my attention. One of the main things I was told was to make a doctor's appointment to get my lungs checked because she noticed some inflammation. She was right! I had mild inflammation due to bronchitis that could have gotten worse with time. I fully trust them and have already brought several of my family members and they have all left just as impressed as me. I'm currently on a cleanse and it's been going great. Their blends are powerful but gentle. I have also reached out to them with questions through direct message and their response time is very fast. I'm very appreciative of this awesome establishment and highly recommend it. read more

What a great store inside the Del Amo center!! First of all, the decor makes it stand out from all of the other vendors and makes you feel like you're shopping in a cute boutique. They have everything you need and more: everyday items, toiletries, paper products, healthy and unique snacks and beverages, but they also have a huge variety of vitamins, supplements, and skin care products. What really earns the 5 stars is that the staff is so friendly and helpful and were able to listen patiently to my concerns and offer up the right products that would be best for me. I could tell that many of the other customers were regulars because the staff seemed to know them and took the time to check on how they were doing with their healthy regimen. Prices are very reasonable, friendly staff, and a really nice shopping experience! Will definitely be back. read more

I went today for the first time and let me say, the lady there was very friendly!!!! I went In because I need more energy and I mean living in LA who doesn't, I wake up tired everyday so anyways she mixed some powders up for me and explained to me how to take it, etc and she said depending on how I felt I can let them know and they can alter my next batch. So I'm hoping this gives me better wings then Red Bull. My overall experience was good, the place is small and has a little bit of everything. I went in the morning so there was no problem with the parking but the lot was sort of full, since it's a mini shopping center. They don't have a sign out yet so I was a bit confused if to turning into the shopping center since I happen to have bad experiences with Siri trying to get me lost, but overall super easy to get too, and close to my job. read more
