I just signed up yesterday for the Black Card membership- and so far so good! The Black Card benefits are all very appealing, however the thing that pulled me in was the unlimited guest privileges, meaning you can bring a guest with you every time you come to the gym w/ no additional charges ! The only down side to this is that they only have access to the gym area and locker rooms, not the "spa" area. So if you decide you want to use the massage chair or something, they will need to wait for you. Other than that, I can't say anything negative. The gym is very well maintained, the staff is friendly and welcoming, the sign-up price was pretty low. I'm a happy camper :) I'll come back and update In a couple months.

The bottom number he first called from then when I hung up he calls from new number twice more to harass me

I received a email asking my reviews on this location I gave a star reason why I said they need soap in the shower everywhere else does. the staff is overly fake with they're " good morning! how are you today" that I feel like they're being a smart$&@ or mocking me. they asked what they can do to make it better i said hotter girls . the manager calls me today to harass me about my review I hung up on him. your not going to call me to talk crap to me about what my opinion is I have the right to my opinion if he don't like it dont ask. very unprofessional to call a customer to harass me. I'm I've been with planet fitness like 5 months now been to all the locations and for this guy to do this makes me not want to continue going there. I've never heard of this in my life. I hung up once he then calls me from another number and then again so I blocked him here's the numbers he called from I don't know who I can complain to . on they're wall it says judgement free zone. Ya right!

Both bills being taken out within a 24 hour span.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I had gotten the black card membership for the buddy pass perk and was told I was only going to get charged 24.99 (plus tax 25.42). Two months pass and they had charged my account 75 dollars THIS MONTH. It was the regular 25.42 and then a whopping 50 dollars added on top a day later. When I go to call about canceling my membership and dispute the 50 dollar charge to my account, they lady on the phone said, WORD FOR WORD,"It still looks like you have a balance of 10 dollars on your account and you will need to pay off you balance before canceling your membership". Look, I'm a 18 year old kid, I understand that in a lot of people's minds young=naive but I'm pretty sure that when 50 dollars gets pulled out of your bank account for a membership that was listed as just over 25 dollars and then there to be a extra 10 dollars to pay for god knows what, something about that situation isn't correct. Had I owed 50 dollars for whatever reason, why are they being pulled out separately. 25 for membership 50 for unknown and a extra ten dollars for the heck of it. I was scammed out of 70 dollars for a mediocre gym membership that barely included "Perks" such as a red tanning bed that's said to "help your skin". Such a joke!

Manager not on property and refused to come in to help the police and two guests who had stolen items from locked lockers.

Chuze is affordable for a gym membership, the staff have always been amazing at this location, and it is always clean. I have never had a cleanliness issue here. The reason for my 4 stars, is that they DO get mad busy so trying to fit your full body workout in can be tough. But that just shows how many people like it here. Also, because some of the cardio equipment is always out of order, for like weeks at a time, which makes it tough to try to fit these in during high traffic times. Otherwise, highly recommend!

Her attitude was unprofessional, her patience was lacking, and the way she spoke to and interacted with us left a lot to be desired. For someone in a management position, I would expect a much higher standard of professionalism and basic courtesy. I generally don't like bringing race into situations, but I also won't ignore something that genuinely concerns me. I couldn't help but notice a difference in how other families were treated compared to how my Mexican American family was treated. I'm not going to pretend that observation didn't raise questions, especially considering the significant Latino community that this gym serves. Respect and common courtesy should be standard, not selective. No family should have to wonder whether they're being treated differently because of their background, especially at a business that welcomes such a diverse community. What makes this even more disappointing is that the individual responsible for setting an example for the staff was the very person who made the experience unpleasant. A managerial title should come with professionalism, patience, and accountability--not an attitude that leaves paying customers feeling unwelcome. I hope corporate takes the time to look into this situation, because if this is the standard of customer service being demonstrated by management, there is clearly room for improvement. Chuze Fitness should be a place where everyone feels welcome, not a place where customers leave questioning whether they were treated equally. Management may represent the company, but experiences like this are what shape its reputation.

We bought an annual membership at this center about a month ago and we love it! As far as the…read moreprice, we pay out of town rates and are thrilled with them. A few years ago we were members of Lifetime Fitness and let me tell you, those are the prices that are outrageous!! We have three adults and prepaid childcare for a 4-year-old and an infant and it is only $73/month!! So I don't know what the people who are complaining about the price are used to paying but the going rate now at Lifetime is $65/month for just the 1st person. Now, are the locker rooms nicer there, yes. Everything is probably a notch up there but this place is still wonderful for the price. I go at different times during the week and the only time that things have been a bit crowded was this last Sunday afternoon at the pool, but even that was not too bad. The track is nice. There are big windows and you can see the mountains as you walk. You can also pretend you are looking down at the basketball court as you look back to see if you are about to be lapped. You do have to ask for a code before going up but they tell you this if you come in and ask about the center. The pools are a bit chilly (granted it is the middle of winter and there are huge windows) but they are a good size and seem to handle the number of people. I swim every Friday with my 4-year-old and she is usually the only kid. The guards are very nice and very alert! They are constantly walking and counting the guests. I just started taking the interval class and the instructor is great. The people in the class are so supportive too. I am about 100 lbs overweight and was VERY self-conscious about being in this class, but complete strangers were smiling at me, giving me high 5's and when I went to grab my water one lady thought I was upset and leaving. She stopped her work-out to encourage me to stay. That is a pretty great community of people. My kids also love the child care. The workers are so kind. They have never acted put-out or frustrated at all. They seem to really enjoy the kids and mine asks almost everyday if she can go there. My biggest suggestion would have to be some customer service training for some of the front desk staff. I know they are busy and I'm sure they put up with a lot of stuff, but some of them act like they are constantly irritated no matter how polite you are. Again, I don't think that you can beat this facility for the price!!

I'm just not a fan... their swim area isn't ideal. They have a baby pool that's a very small space…read morebut also too much splashing to actually accommodate a baby... The wave pool is kind of cool however it is pretty narrow, and they allow kids to be extra rambunctious in there, which makes it more of a danger than anything. Multiple times I've been there, the lap pool has been closed, which has a rock climbing wall, which maybe could be cool but again it's always been closed. It's the only pool deeper than 3 1/2 feet. They have a small lazy river which could be fun however all kids have to be in a tube and that's just not for everyone. There's a sign on the locker room that says little boys six and under aren't allowed in the women's restroom... Maybe people are fine with that but my six-year-old son is too small to be alone. Also, the biggest turn off is that you have to pay even if you aren't swimming. My kids are smaller and so obviously need a parent, but I don't need to be in the water with them, and you still have to pay, regardless, which is just annoying and kind of a rip off. It's just not where I would choose again.

O have never been to a group fitness class like this before, and I have always been way too…read moreintimidated to give it a shot... until now. I'm trying to find a style of training that would fit my goals and motivate me to push myself more than just wandering around the gym by myself. Orangetheory offers a free class for first-timers and my experience was absolutely worth the initial anxiety of walking into a completely new setting. The usual experience wouldn't normally not include the tour, explanation, and follow up that the free session does (unless you have questions of course), but my experience was 100% positive all around. I visited for a Tuesday 11:15am class and Hannah was the group's instructor. I showed up about 30 minutes early to walk through the class process, get a tour of the gym, and explanation of the various styles of classes offered. There are several lockers available to store your personal items, and showers and restrooms are available if you need them. The whole space is very clean and this location doesn't have the same subtle funk in the air that a lot of gyms tend to have lol. The gym is large, the light is very forgiving (especially for those of us that turn into tomatoes while working out), and there are multiple dans that help to keep you cool while you're moving. The class is attended was very upbeat and motivating. Hannah was such an awesome coach and gives off a very positive energy; it definitely seems like she loves what she does, and in my opinion is very good at it. The class this day was pretty small, about 12 people to their standard 25 or so, so we were able to kinda spread out on the equipment. I particularly enjoyed the guided workout and direction we received from the coach; I feel like this keeps you focused on the workout and allows you to put all your energy into it rather than what I mentioned before about aimless wandering and whatnot. The positive reinforcement while working out is also super motivating, and the extra guidance (if you need it) on proper form and technique is extremely helpful and delivered in such a kind, supportive way. The membership is admittedly expensive, but I think could be worth the price depending on your willingness to commit to a consistent schedule. There are single classes and package options available for purchase in addition to the annual/monthly memberships for those that might want to just visit a handful of times over the course of a month or more, so options are flexible. The concept of Orangetheory is very cool, and I think more of a bang than your normal classes at a gym might be, so it's definitely worth at least a try to figure out if you think a membership is right for you!

One of the best things about having an Orangetheory membership is that you don't have to worry…read moreabout missing a class just because you're traveling! My fiancé and I were in the Denver-area visiting some friends -- and we decided to book a Sunday morning class at this OTF location with Rhea. Heads-up if you're coming from out of town -- you'll need to call the studio and give them a credit card to put on file AND plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your class to fill out some paperwork. You have to do this at every new location you visit -- but it's only once, and then they'll have all of your info on file. Rhea was an amazing coach -- so engaged and encouraging! I liked how this studio was set up compared to our home studio in that the instructor's microphone can connect with one of two speakers based on where they are in the room. For example, if you're running on the treadmill, you can still have the music blasting while the coach explains the lift instructions to the floor crew, and vice versa. One thing I will say if you're visiting this particular studio (or any in the Denver area) is that the altitude is no joke. My typical "push pace" was a lot closer to my normal "base pace," simply because my body isn't used to running at that level. Even still - I had a great workout, and Rhea helped us stay in touch with what our bodies needed in each component. Thanks so much, OTF Thornton! We'd definitely return for a class the next time we're in town.

The b-rex online registrations are always!!!! horrible! Let's start with connection. I am sitting IN one of the rec centers right now, so they cannot blame this on my wifi. The sites are slow and not well designed, both of which lend themselves to their dropping you mid-attempt to register. Pointlessly very frustrating to have to start again three times before getting all the way through. The Bay and the rest of the Broomfield rec centers are not connected City entities?! What?! The equipment and pools are good. I especially appreciate the choice of water temps, and the first class lap pools at the BCC.
