I joined Kinetafit on a whim for one of their bootcamp challenges and decided, despite my sore, sore body to continue on as a regular member. Kinetafit has a great feel to it (not your stereotypical gym). Everyone there is working it out but nobody is competing with each other. The small group personal training settling allows the instructors to easily see everyone, demonstrate the exercises and offer help where it's needed. It is a serious workout but they offer modifications for most of the exercises... for people like me that might go into shock having to try the real move after so many years of well, not moving like that. I'm not going to lie, I was pretty nervous about working my way back into group exercise but the owners, instructors and patrons have made it such a great experience. After 6 weeks, I love the results I'm seeing and already feel so much stronger. After several years of not taking care of me, I am so thankful that Kinetafit has given me a place to start loving myself again...and a chance to keep up with my 3 boys! Awesome place to come sweat. A real find for Brighton and the surrounding areas. I've been coming for over 2 years. I started with one of their awesome bootcamp trial periods. Ruston, the owner, is friendly, easily approachable and makes time to discuss your fitness goals, helps with nutrition planning, and gives constructive feedback during your progress. But certainly not the only trainer to give you personal attention. The other trainers, Mike, Misty, and Katie are right there, too, offering their time. Classes are consistently small in nature giving you practically a personal one-on-one training session. Everyone encourages each other and I have always had a positive, fun experience with Kinetafit!! I have been a member for two years and I never get tired of going to the gym. The workouts are always different and fast paced. This keeps things fresh but it has also kept me injury free because I don't do the same things over and over even though I'm at the gym four days each week. It also keeps me injury free when I do other activities like running, paddle boarding, boxing, or roller skating because my strength is well balanced in all areas of my body. I haven't always been this way and the trainers at Kinetafit were able to meet me where I was, and they work with me now to maintain continuous improvement. I started working out at KinetaFIT 2 years ago and I can honestly say my overall health has increased exponentially. Not only can I do a burpee WITH a pushup, but I can do it with a smile on my face. The workouts change daily so no chance of getting bored and no matter the individual's skill level, you will always be challenged. I love the sense of community I feel every time I walk into the gym. The atmosphere is very supportive of your fitness level but at the same time the trainers, as well as the other members, will push you to new level of fitness. Hard workouts, terrific fun. Hadn't worked out in twenty five years when I started. Had doubts whether I could stick with it. Seven months in I am getting very fit and enjoying the group workouts. Very professional, friendly and supportive staff. Workouts are varied and never repeat themselves within seem to repeat themselves. Always something new. Exercises are short in duration and varied. Other members are dedicated and supportive. We work hard and have fun. Way better than doing it at home, the trainers and members will motivate you. Kinetafit is hands down the best place to get fit and stay fit! This place is awesome, it's not just a gym is a family of like minded people. The owners are amazing and have built an amazing place to be and have selected the absolute best trainers! If you want to be healthy but struggle with finding a place to workout, this is the place. I have done Crossfit in the past, and this is way better. The variety is awesome, I'm every bit as fit but don't have to deal with competitive classmates and overbearing instructors. The KinetaFIT instructors just want everyone to be safe and are quick to offer modifications if needed - unheard of in Crossfit. KinetaFIT welcomes absolutely all abilities as you work as hard as you want to, and has a ton of class times to choose from. I can't recommend it enough. read more

Great experience! The workouts were always different and challenging. The staff (especially the owner Ruston) was always super friendly and helpful, not snobby and stuck up like a lot of fitness places I've been to.
