A person with short hair, wearing a black t-shirt and jeans, is reaching up to grab a bottle from a shelf behind a bar. The bar area features a selection of liquor bottles, a digital menu display listing weekly specials, and refrigerated drinks below the counter. The decor includes dark cabinetry, a marble wall, and gold accents, indicating an upscale cocktail bar environment.

Stopped by Element Eatery and spotted this place while eating outside. After looking it up, decided to pop in. We were greeted by friendly bartenders and Kevin was knowledgeable about every drink. The Phase 3 was my favorite, the best way to describe it: upside down margarita lol. The Chivo had root beer and was perfectly sweet. I was very impressed with the espresso martini as well. Drinks are well crafted for sure. The space is super swanky. Almost like La Cantina & Anjou had a baby, very similar spaces. They have a small private space that seats 25, with a large curtain for privacy. I would consider using this space in the future. This bar is very cool and I'm glad I discovered it.

Old fashioned - A person holds a short glass containing a cocktail with a lemon garnish on a bar counter. The drink appears amber-colored with ice cubes. The bar surface has a metal mat, and bar tools are visible in the background. The setting suggests a bar environment with dim lighting.

Very very cool spot, came by here with a group to hang out after a day of sales training. Nice sized place, very clean and very nice staff. We didn't eat there as we had a cocktail hour prior with food being served but the old fashioneds there were very good but slightly too sweet for me so thats why the 4 stars which is a dam solid rating.

New York sour - A cocktail with three distinct layers—red on top, yellow in the middle, and clear at the bottom—is served in a short glass. The drink is placed on a perforated metal bar mat, with a blurred background of a bar setting, including equipment and ambient lighting.

Pricy mediocre cocktails. Not much else around the bar right now besides the eatery. I believe they are going out of business.

Cute place but sadly seems like a younger crowd bar.. Was slightly concerned if they were serving under age people but what do I know.

Placebo is a place where anyone can relax and have a good time. Best espresso martini I've ever had, and made with local coffee!

I came out in December for their Miracle pop-up in 2025…read more As someone who has gone to a ton of holiday cocktail bars and pop-ups over the last 10 years, Overlook Lodge's is probably the best I've ever been to. Be aware it will be FAST. Look at the order ahead of time if you're a picky eater/drinker. They run your appointment like clockwork, and you'll be in-and-out, gulping down cocktails, through the entire experience. Your two drinks are included (this year, anyway), and I'd honestly be surprised if you managed to have time for a third. Time zips by fast. That being said, because they do it this way, you essentially have constant service, there's "events" that happen at the end of your reservation time, (I don't want to spoil it, but cover your drink!), and then they kick you out. Service was friendly, though, and I saw the server make time to take group photos for all of the tables (including ours) with someone at the table's camera. (No bullshit "group photo" upsells here) It's kinda loud, though, and I wouldn't recommend this as a chill meet-up-and-socialize spot. (If you wanna talk, they have an addendum, Christmas-themed laid-back bar next door.) It's more of a "get blasted in the face by Christmas for an hour and then leave" experience. It's pretty loud, and talking can be a bit difficult over the music and constant interruptions (more drinks? Photos? Cute Christmas video montage?) But this works in its favor as it feels the most Christmas, over-the-top, and seasonal out of all the holiday bars I've ever been to. It also keeps it from feeling too crowded as reservations are required, so you for-sure have a seat and you don't have to stand forever in line to wait for drinks. I'd probably guesstimate that bar staff is making all of their seasonal drinks, constantly, and servers just pick one up to deliver. With the capacity in here, it would make sense. No idea what the bar is like the rest of the year; this is just a review for the Miracle pop-up which, again, is probably the best I've been to in the Midwest. Cincinnati, you're spoiled down here. (Sidenote, I was absolutely taken aback by their TV presentation on the wall. It's hard to describe, but it isn't just a projector showing a giant rectangle. It's specifically slotted into the holes in-between holiday decorations. Staff told me that had to hire special technicians to get it to show up that way and that's seriously a level of detail I am so amazed by.)

My husband likes to find neighborhood/dive bars. He would drive by this place alot and wanted to check it out. He loves it here and mentioned that the crowd very laid back. So on a Sunday afternoon, I wanted to watch the Bengals game at this place. Brother's Cafe is located on Montgomery Road in Silverton. It's across the street from Silverton Cafe and Italianette Pizza. Occupancy maximum-49. Stepped in and was greeted by the bartender. She was super sweet and waited on us right away! Decor: Vintage and Nostalgia galore!!!! LOVE it!! Old vintage beer/neon beer signs everywhere and loved that there was a telephone booth across from of the bar! There is also a pool table and touch jukebox to play music. Also, there is at least three wide screen televisions to watch sports. Love the setup of the bar (full service bar, selling top shelf brands as well.) They do accept credit cards, but must be a minumum of $10.00 purchase. The whole joint and even the bathrooms are clean. Usually bars have that stinky mildew smell, not this place! Now for the best part!!! Alcohol is cheap and reasonable!! YAY!! For $17.75 (we watched the entire Bengals game) we got: -Pitcher of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer -Coors light bottle -My husband got two more Pabst beers (on tap) -Hudy Delight on tap At the time, customers brought in food for pot luck because they were celebrating a friend's birthday. The bartender told us we can helped ourselves. That was awfully nice. We definately dove in and enjoy the appetizers. Usually on Sundays they have pizza. Besides Sidelines in Norwood, this will is now my favorite go to bar. Everyone was so generous, great vibe/atmosphere and felt welcomed. Definately check this bar out! I really appreciated the old school decor!
