I love this place I grew up in the neighborhood behind it and would walk here. I think it has closed down unfortunately during Covid.

When we finally made it in, I was surprised by how small and intimate the place was -- cozy atmosphere, limited seating, and a lively bar setup. The highlight for sure was the Margarita Flight Boarding Pass. Super creative idea! You pick four flavors from their list, fill out a little "boarding pass," and hand it to your server. Between two flights, we tried coconut, huckleberry, mango, strawberry banana, blackberry, key lime pie, peach, and raspberry. Every flavor actually tasted true to its name -- bold, fruity, and fun. Definitely the most memorable part of the night. For appetizers, the Burrata Board was fresh and well-balanced -- creamy burrata, prosciutto, and honeycomb made for a great light start. The French Onion Soup was a twist on the classic -- a bit lighter in flavor but still comforting and satisfying. For mains, we went with the Buffalo Chicken Salad and the Charleston's Classic Smash Burger. The salad was fine but nothing that stood out -- grilled chicken topped with buffalo sauce rather than fully tossed in it. The burger had great flavor and the Merkts cheese was a star, but it leaned more toward a hearty pub-style burger than a true "smash." Overall, Dock on Front was good -- flavorful food, unique drinks, and a fun concept -- but it didn't quite live up to the hype. I'd tell anyone it's worth visiting once, but I'm not in a rush to go back. After all the buzz, I expected to be blown away--but it fell just short of that mark.

I enjoyed the spicy watermelon margarita while my dining companion went with a traditional one. We tried four tacos. I'll list them in order of preference: Red Skull - No notes. This is a well thought out combo. Get this for sure. Surf Ninja - A little light on the shrimp, but delicious. Whippersnapper - Nice flavor combo, but ask for extra passion fruit slaw or pineapple to step up the pow a bit! Island Boy - Too spicy, but kinda in a nice way. It was yummy but also a little too much on the tongue. Chips were hot and fresh. Complimentary salsa was chunky and maybe not worth the space in my tummy. Service was top notch. Parking was easy. We are going back to keep working through the menu.

None of the Dukes diehards would ever expect it to be part of a gas station but to anyone whose been there it isn't the same..... This place has had successful car shows but I will say this place is much cleaner, it has bathrooms, a much smaller scale menu. The food is still good and try to mock the facade of the Burbank location. This place features a drive thru which is beyond amazing I will say this Dukes has potential in due time. It's just trying to bring back its original clientele or the ones who left the Chicagoland area. Prices here are fair. So give it a chance.

This time today, I asked the order taker if they could please stir the beef in hopes of getting the spices and the flavor we are accustomed to. I thought perhaps it just needed a good stirring. To no avail. Both of our sandwiches were bland. Dukes beef has a unique tasty flavor with a hint of spice. None of it was present. As we ate, I told my wife this place has now become 50/50. The odds are you may or may not get a flavorful beef sandwich like they served for DECADES in Bridgeview. I never ever recall getting a beef sandwich that was bland. Luke I hope you're reading this. In Bridgeview, I recall seeing the same women every time I went. These were mist likely owners/family. They were involved. In the day to day operations. You need to step into the Mokena restaurant and be involved. And do some quality control. In the absence of the owner things can go south. I am not exaggerating when I say the last 5-6 visits the beef sandwich has been bland. You need to get involved. When you first opened, the Beef sandwiches were phenomenal !!!!! Now they are disappointing. And we won't chance the commute for a 50/50 chance. At least Portillos is always consistent. Dukes definitely is not. And Portillos is where we will go. Just for the consistency.

A pretty hopping ass atmosphere. Those that like loud music will certainly like this. Coming here we missed it a few times at first. It's located on the edge of an industrial park. This is a pretty strange location it seems. About the only reason to be in this area actually. Kind of hard to see amongst all the warehouses. It's about $7 a pint. Pretty similar to typical craft beer prices though. Best we had of these was the Straight Blade. This is a West Coast IPA that's bitter with citrus and floral notes. As for the food it's mostly Mexican. It's $12 for the Lunch Special. There's a choice and we got tacos. Choose proteins including options for plant based. We got these with Beyond meat, and the faux al pastor. Basically they make meaty substitutes out of mushrooms. These come with beans and rice. A lot more on the menu. There's also brunch on Sundays with omelettes and other stuff. Has more than just beers of course. It's also got choices of burritos, tacos, and tortas. There's lots of things for vegans and vegetarians.

I tried a couple of their seltzer flavors and definitely liked peach the most. It did end up tasting very syrup like. I also tasted some of my families beers which were good not great. This isn't one of our go-to breweries in the area but it is certainly worth visiting to see if it is your vibe!

When we entered we were well greeted by two of the staff. Very friendly and professional people. And although the outside of the business is somewhat plain the inside is really nice. Well lit with a nice layout and atmosphere. I nice mural on the wall as well. My wife ordered the 2 pc white chicken and waffle. For some reason they consider a wing as white meat? Anyhow, you get a wing and a huge breast with a waffle. The chicken is fried and the batter has a nice taste to it. The breast was way over cooked and dry however. But overall it was good at a price of $8.99. I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Its served on a regular hamburger bun and the chicken was extremely small. Most of the sandwich was the bun. It was good well and tasted delicious. It comes with a small amount of fries all for $10.99. This item is way over priced and not at all worth the cost. I would value this at $7-$8. Both of our orders were extremely fresh. Cooked to order. It took 30 minutes from order time to get the food which is too long. Neither of us will order these items again but we will return to try other menu items. And the key here is to call in and order ahead.
