I really love the concept of this place. It's very inventive, something I've never seen before. My son recommended it to me after having been before with dad. The jolly rancher lemonade was a hit with him. It was too sweet for me. He's 13 and I'm 40 so that might explain that lol. He enjoyed his chicken and waffle, which I didn't try. I got the walking taco with Doritos, meat and cheese. The meat was not appetizing, I didn't finish it as a result. I prefer a taco seasoning on a taco anything and this was like garlic and onion powder ground turkey without enough salt. It wasn't good at all to me. Plus it was $7.50, a bit steep in price for something I'd normally pay $4 or less. I think we'll try again and do a shake or dessert item next time. My partner and I came here yesterday finally. We've driven past this place many times and have walked past it when going to the Metra, and we were always disappointed because they're essentially not open at convenient hours. There's also lots of misinformation about their hours too -- yesterday DoorDash and Yelp both said they're closed. But their website and Google said otherwise, so I called and confirmed they're open until 6 and the kitchen closes at 5:30 which I appreciate the transparency because we definitely planned on ordering from the kitchen as well. My partner ordered a birthday bowl (Fruity Pebbles and Oreo cereal), and I did a build your own (Froot Loops and Lucky Charms) because why not. This place allows you to channel your inner child, they have a bunch of cereal for you to choose from, and you can even add ice cream or turn it into a milkshake. They actually surprised us each with a scoop of ice cream which I appreciate so much, I never thought to do that, and they also gave us each a cup of milk to go with the cereal. Mine had whipped cream since my partner wanted it without. As for food, my partner opted for the nacho cheese fries a large order, I did their loaded chicken cheese fries with Buffalo sauce, and an order of chicken tenders (you get 3 pieces per order, decently sized). The kitchen food is freshly made to order, which I appreciate. Everything was well packaged, and we did enjoy our cereal there especially with ice cream involved. While we were there, children came in and said it's their favorite place. If I could turn back the clock, I'd totally have a birthday party here. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a sweet tooth, breakfast for lunch/dinner, and some fun twists to traditional recipes this is it. Okay, this place is so bomb! COVID-19 ish - hand sanitizer, 6 feet distancing signs on the floor, contactless menu, contactless payment, face masks required, all employees wore masks and gloves..... ...,now that's out the way. First off, this place is super cute, I love the decor and they have a Mrs. Pac-Man machine. They turned one of their shakes I saw on Instagram into a sundae for me with no problem. Super professional and very friendly staff. They also sell nostalgic candy in bulk and a la carte, if you don't want a dairy treat. My sundae is so delicious. This place is AMAZING! It's my childhood dreams come true. Munchiez is a cereal bar. They also sell candy, ice cream, shakes and walking tacos however cereal is their main attraction. They're located on 1803 W. 95th St. right by the tracks. The bar is small yet cozy. Inside its very colorful and animated. They have a few stools seated at the bar and a handful of tables with stools. Also each table has a giant deck of uno cards. They have 33 different flavors of well known cereal which are displayed on the back wall of the bar. The cereals are dispensed from plastic canisters and they're served in giant see through plastic bowls with plastic spoons. The milk comes on the side in a see through plastic jug. They have several different flavors of milk from regular, to chocolate, to almond, to multi colored milk, they even have unicorn milk (whatever that is). I brought my wife and daughter here this past Sunday for some family time. My wife ordered a walking taco, I ordered a bowl of cocoa pebbles with almond milk and my daughter had a bowl of lucky charms with pink milk. The cereal accompanied with the ice cold milk hit the spot. Their menu is small and when it comes to the cereal you can choose one of the specials which is usually multiple flavors mixed together or you can create your own bowl for about $6.00 and every flavor you add is an additional $3.00. Overall you come to a place like this for the experience as well as the childhood memories/nostalgia it will invoke once you take a bite of your favorite cereal while playing uno or the Mrs. Pacman arcade game they have in the shop. Parents with small kids kids should definitely bring their children here, they'll love it as will anybody whose a cereal lover. This place is legit and I have no complaints. Munchiez on 95th is not good I spent $52 in there and the food horrible the tenders are already cooked they cooked them again they dry and they charged me to dip them but didn't and hard the waffle dry too the man let me leave without getting my drinks he made other people shakes that came after us before he made my sons he seem like he got a attitude... they charge you 50 cent for syrup(and it's not enough) like why I got waffles they charge 75 cent for powered sugar... the shake were ok but very loose and looked nothing like the pictures... let me not forget it's so smoky in there that it burns your eyes... First and foremost this establishment is black owned! This place is so cute and the staff are friendly. On top of the store's clean design and layout they are also Covid cautious, the staff worn mask and gloves, there are 6 feet distancing markers from the door to the counter and they provide hand sanitizer. There are some nostalgic candy options but we came for the milkshakes. I got a small Crunch Berry Bomb milkshake, and after my first sip I instantly regretted not getting a large. My partner got a Golden Graham Bedrock, which was equally enjoyable. They offer more options which we look forward to trying in the future. I would definitely recommend this place! read more
