"Truffles, chocolates and gelato heaven right here in Baton Rouge". Simplistic in view, but an…read moreabundance of personality emerged after the first bite. Given that this was my first time here, I did not know what to expect. I ordered a "Bananas Foster" chocolate and was given a sample of the cranberry truffle and drooled over the house-made gelato (perhaps I will get some next time). Biting into the "Bananas Foster" chocolate took me by surprise, but in a good way! At that exact moment, I felt like me and the chocolate were the only ones left in the world... it was an experience! The texture was like slightly caramelized brown sugar, kicked up with some banana flavoring. It was the most enjoyable experience I have ever had with a truffle! I loved it so much that I was ready to turn around and buy and entire platter of that specific kind. Banana is not always my go-to flavor, but I wanted to live a little, so I ordered this one and not for a second was I disappointed with my choice. I am curious to know what others have with that same texture because that was exquisite! Plus, it was dark chocolate, so that always adds plus signs. If you have ever had bananas foster, you will appreciate this truffle because it embodied everything about that dessert that I love. As for customer service, I would not expect anything less than superb and that is exactly what I got. The young gentleman behind the counter was patient and very informative. I will definitely be back and next time I am getting gelato with my chocolate! * Baton Rouge made truffles * Baton Rouge made gelato * Chocolate cafe * Chocolate shop in Baton Rouge *

It's awesome that he has yelp check in offers. My only complaint is that the servings seem a touch small for the price. It wouldn't keep me from coming back though because it really is that good!

The service was a little slower and it is a quiet little shop, but it was worth the wait. This banana split was amazing. I asked for only vanilla ice cream and I'm glad I did. Which is saying a little, because there is so much to choose from! There are regular house made popsicles, milk based popsicles, these run the range from the ordinary to the extraordinary, co raining fruit, sprinkles, etc! They aren't just good, they are also pretty to look at. The menu also includes lots of cool and unique offerings that I will hopefully get around to trying. But for me the star was the freshly homemade ice creams! We had two very particular young ones with us, and they both devoured their vanilla and Reese's flavors! The hubby had a banana split, which he enjoyed immensely! I am not a big ice cream person. Normally don't eat it but maybe once a year. But I got a sample of the Pecan. Needless to say I got a scoop and are every single drop of it!! For me, that's unheard of! Also, this was a HUGE one scoop of ice cream!! It was so creamy and delicious! You could taste the that it was freshly made without a bunch of chemicals etc like store bought brands. And I cannot fail to mention the really neat color changing spoons!! I think I liked them even more than the kids! lol! Add all of this to a convenient locate with a fun cool vibe, it's a total WIN!!! Highly Recommended!!
