I have been going to this Starbucks since like 2014. Never used the new coffee house across the street, always this one. Ordered my regular that I order all the time. Walked in to get my cup of coffee, needless to say it was maybe a quarter full. I ask the little girl that fixed it and she had the nerve to say, "What do you want me to do about it." I turned to Chris which has been there for years and he apologized and said he would give me a free coffee. I wanted to speak to the manager and she would not come to me. I'm a loyal Starbucks customer. I do admit I visited "that" new coffee joint across the street from Starbucks, West Thomas St., Hammond Louisiana when "they" gave away free coffee and free T-shirts. However, I returned to my first love . . . But, I can't tolerate Starbucks' straws anymore. Today, before I finished half my coffee Frappuccino, the top of the straw already frayed in four sections. The line is usually quite long, with a very narrow turn (I always debate if my large car can make the turn)waited in line almost 30 min this time. I either get a pink drink or a caramel macchiato depending on the mood. Today I got a tall iced caramel macchiato with 2 pumps of white mocha, light ice, and extra caramel. read more

Entrances can be easy to miss. The service was very quick, the employees friendly. The beverage was perfect as was the bakery item. No real complaints here. Granted, this was my only time visiting this location and at a quick glance, it does not look like your typical Starbucks. It is easy to get back out on the road. read more

Ordered a coffee (very basic; medium roast, creamer, sugar), a butter croissant, and a donut at 5:33 PM. Pulled up at 5:48 PM (app said it was completed at 5:40 PM) and nothing has been started. Two cars in the drive through and one person waiting at a table, that was it. I ask them about it and they said that it will show "Completed" on the app as soon as they make the stickers... all three stickers were just hanging up there and she said they'll start on my drink now. She asked if I had food and what food I got, so I told her. Butter croissants are out. So now I have to get a chocolate croissant. At this point a bunch of people walk in and now I'm still waiting. It 6:01 PM and they haven't even started my food. My husband came inside, needing to use the restroom anddd it's locked with a code on it. We're late to our event, he needs to use the bathroom still, and the customer service sucked. Also, it was dirty as hell and there's just a random wet floor sign on the ground with nothing around it? And there's multiple working rn so I don't know why it's taking so long (like 4 people). ETA: My husband and I walked up to an employee and asked for my food and she just walked away. A couple minutes later she asks for the name and grabs food ALREADY ON THE COUNTER and then hand to me goes "Hey so we're out of butter croissants". I just told her I knew and the chocolate croissant right there was mine. We took it and left at 6:07 PM. Again, when I got there only two people were in the drive through and one was at the table. Probably ten minutes after I sat down, a couple groups of people walked in and ALL got their food and drinks before me. While mine was just sitting there. All of my food is cold. Literally so annoying. My husband and I attend regular events in this area and this is the closest place I can get coffee/food but from now on, I'm just bringing some from home. read more

Unfortunately, I have to say this is one of the worst Starbucks locations I've ever been to, but it's the closest one to my home so I often go there. I counted that in my last 11 orders only one of them was correct on the first try. Ordering through the app does nothing to improve drink accuracy either. When you ask for the (whatever) that you ordered, and pay extra for, you're met with confusion nearly every single time. Went this Starbucks drank some coffee in my car. It was not great and caused me to have to run to the bathroom inside. An employee began banging on the door as if I was a committing a crime. They claim it was a wellness check after I'd been in there for about 8 minutes. Nasty coffee and very rude employees. Try PJ's in Hammond. Never had these problems there! read more

This location has consistently good coffee, tea, and service. The baristas are always friendly, helpful, and quick. The location is inside an old bank. I appreciate that Starbucks didn't build a new cookie cutter franchise, but instead created a unique place with character. There is a sign inside that this location supports Options. There is an outside, covered patio with tables and chairs. My only minor complaint is that the location is hardly the center of town. It's usually more convenient to go to the Starbucks inside Target. But that's hardly an issue. read more

This is the only time I've ever been to Louisiana. I was driving through on I-10 (or is it I-12? ... I wasn't driving this part ...) and used the iPhone app to get directions. I even re-routed us to drive up through downtown. It looked like there was a barbecue festival being set up (late march 2016). I wish I could've stopped. But the other guy in my car just wanted to go to Starbucks. Everything seemed exactly like every other Starbucks in America, including the employees and customers. Nobody even had any kind of accent. So that probably sounds obnoxious. I recoiled at myself thinking it. But that is my experience at this, most memorable of my recent Starbucks. read more

My husband drives almost 6 miles each morning just to be first in line when Starbucks opens. My alarm goes off at 6. I always have my favorite, Iced Coconut Mocha Macchiato, waiting for me. I really love the subtle coconut flavor that the coconut milk adds. The sweetness of the caramel and chocolate drizzle balances out the bitterness of the coffee. Def my favorite wake up pick-me-up. The staff at this location, for the most part, will recognize my husband's voice. They are all so nice and friendly (even at 530 in the morning!). Even though this location is not that close to my house, my hubby really enjoys the early morning ride and the smiling faces he's greeted with. read more

This Starbucks is the literal worst. I've never gotten stuck in a drive through for over an hour. &no I'm not exaggerating. I've come here many times and always have a 30 plus min wait when waiting inside for my drink. The staff are clustered and running into each other. No one has an idea or rhythm to their job. So... my husband ordered a venti Americano that comes with 5 pumps of syrup, he decided only yo use 3 shots. I asked to use the other 2 in my drink and the woman began to LAUGH AT ME! 1st of all thats a very logical question, so.... why the laigh? Secondly, how rude!!!!! I've been going here for years but recently have been disappointed every time I go. 45 minutes in a 5 car line is a little much and I've worked in a coffee shop so I totally understand. But to go and wait that time and pay for the wrong coffee is ridiculous. The only reason that they are getting 2 stars instead of one is because of their great attitudes. Just frustrating to spend that money on a coffee and have to fix it once I get to my location on my own every time I've been to this location. This location is one of the worst I've been to and I travel A LOT. They have low variety of typical Starbucks menu items (protein boxes, cheese and fruit boxes, etc.) The wait was long even before COVID no matter what, however the staff has gotten more and more rude. When placing mobile orders, you order it on the app and grab it in the store and you're on your way. This store decided to leave the pick up box in the same location as before COVID. There are no signs saying don't grab your order. I was waiting for a few minutes, nobody acknowledged me and I read my name clearly on my order. When I went to grab it, I was YELLED at by an employee. Not a "ma'am please don't grab that, I'll get it for you" but a "DO NOT GRAB THAT" and an absurd amount of hostility. I'm all for COVID regulations. However, to keep a Mobile order box in the same place, have no barrier and no signs saying don't do what you always do then employees yell at a customer for it? Most staff are friendly and the outside sitting area is nice. However, if you plan to alter your drink in any way (add extra shots, less pumps, etc.), place a mobile order. It's the only way they get the order correct. I used to use the drive thru but after constant incorrect drink orders, I started going inside but it was worse! At least inside, they would offer to correct my drink but it was happening so often that I just started placing mobile orders instead. Haven't had an issue with mobile orders. read more

Ok, I love Starbucks. I know Starbucks has a high standard for their product and their staff, so I am incredibly disappointed by this location. The level of service experienced is not on par with a typical Starbucks experience... in fact I've given this location multiple shots and the only thing they've done consistently is forget to stir my drink before serving. I only recommend this location if you enjoy getting your drink with a bland start and murky overpowering finish because a flick of the wrist with a spoon is too much for their staff. read more

As for this location I can only attest to the drive thu window because I've never actually been inside this location. But the people at the drive thu are fast, nice, as funny.
