I did a lot of online research and then found spaceback. Couldn't have been happier. Dave came to our home and did an assessment. On the appointed day, he and a team came exactly on time ready to go. He both took unwanted pieces and moved a very large armoire downstairs despite tight turns. That would have been enough. However he also got us tax deductions , enabling us to save more money this coming spring and other people to use still good pieces I highly highly recommend Dave and spaceback. You will not be disappointed

My mother had lived there for over 55 years and accumulated a lot of stuff. Spaceback donated some of the larger pieces of furniture to a charity and gave us the tax donation receipts. And, if you have a strong desire to donate smaller, lover dollar value items such as glassware, clothing, dishes, house hold items and clothing, I strongly suggest that you do that yourself. I thought this was going to be a big job, but actually emptying the house was much more than I had thought. I strongly recommend these guys to do the final house cleanout. I've included a few pictures of the more dramatic areas, and we sold the car ourselves. Great job Spaceback.

Considering the amount of plants in the gardens surrounding the house it was amazing how intact everything was. We were so impressed.

I screened over ten contractors before hiring. He provided me one of the best estimates even though it was over my budget. I actually knew of John's company from my time living in Woburn as his house was not too far from my old house. I can't say enough good things about John. He has been in the construction industry for over 50 years and his attention to detail is evident when speaking with him. Most general contractors/builders try to rush to get the job done so they can move on to their next project. Not John. He and I were in constant communication and he made sure I was happy and informed on progress. He has a few guys Rocco and Gary who are very nice, hardworking, and amazing craftsman. John's subcontractors for framing, roofing, siding, insulation, plaster, concrete, flooring, all did a great job too. The work was professional and clean. As the owner, even John got his hands dirty in building my deck and used his tractor to excavate the deck footings. I highly recommend John's company for any construction and renovation work on residential and commercial properties. I already have him on call to do other work on my house and will recommend him to family and friends. Thanks John.

We had the worst experience working with this company. The manager, Kevin is a fast talking…read moresalesman and very disrespectful to his staff. As a homeowner, we trusted that they would abate our asbestos safely and follow proper protocol. After they finished the job, our electrician discovered that they left large quantities vermiculite in the attic and wall cavities and purposely stuffed fiberglass insulation over the vermiculite to intentionally hide it from the inspectors. These areas were easily accessible to their workers and could be reached by their equipment (and easily visible to our electrician). They lied and said the vermiculite was removed from these areas. I suspect that his workers had been trained to purposely cut corners to save time and hide their incomplete work. This was a shocking discovery. They put our health and that of our contractors in great jeopardy by leaving this cancerous material so easily accessible. When I called to have them come back to fix the problem and finish the job, fortunately they did return. However, then we had to witness Kevin yell at his workers, blaming and shaming them for the problem. It was completely inappropriate and a bit staged. I will never work with them again, and would never recommend them.

He inspected the grounds to assess current conditions as well to evaluate our needs. He was a good listener and made several suggestions to improve our site. Once we came to a decision as to the scope of work we wanted, Mark thoroughly explained to us the process going forward and what we could expect. He explained how weather could impact the work, as well as what our owners could reasonably expect to encounter vis a vi access to the property during the process. He also gave us an accurate estimate of the time it would take to complete the job. Weather did in fact impact the job. Abacus communicated well and we were able to inform the owners in a timely manner of the pending delay and no one was negatively impacted by the delay. The delay was brief and the job was completed on time. Our place looks better than ever. Our drainage issues have been solved. We couldn't be happier with the end result. It was a pleasure working with Mark. He has an easygoing manner. And unlike other companies we spoke with regarding the job, he didn't try to up-sell us. He is seasoned professional and we won't hesitate to call him again when the need arises.

The level of disrespect is egregious and it needs to stop or my review stands.
