Pasta was good and fresh! I got the Tretchette with pesto which was delicious. Linguine with vegetables: zucchini, peas, bell peppers, celery. (no sauce) Pizza looked thin and great too! They allow dogs inside the restaurant?? Did not like this. The dog was roaming around everywhere, customer didn't care, and the employees didn't tell them anything either. Not a fan of this and I was very uncomfortable. (Late post - July 2105)

This pizza place was more like a chain pizza resturant like you find in the states! Pizza was very greasy there's a lot better options for pizza in Venice The service was great

Wonderful little pizza chain with a full gluten free menu including delicious crispy thin crust pizzas and gluten free beer. I had the GF mozzarella and artichoke pizza, my father doesn't need to eat GF, so he had the fried squid and polenta, which looked delicious. Great fun atmosphere perfect for groups, or families. Sports playing on the TVs and tons of yummy options. Fast, friendly service, and great prices for the portion sizes. Definitely check it out.

Amazing! One of the best pizzas I've ever had! A bit off the main tourist area but worth the detour. Highly recommend!

We had no idea that this was a chain until later, but in retrospect, I can see the signs now…read more Regardless, this location had a lot in common with the other places we ate in Venice. The pizza here is the highlight, and indeed, it was pretty excellent, though I would say in general, we had nothing but excellent pizza while anywhere in Italy. The pasta we had was... just ok, and the very large salad we all split was really good. The best part of this place, and dining in Venice generally, is taking in all the sights and sounds while eating streetside. It's such a unique place to be, and without the sound of cars everywhere, still give you a little bit of that old world feel... speaking of Venice of course, because other than this being in an old building, everything inside Rossopomodoro was pretty modern. Sorry I don't have much more to say about the food at this place. We had a lot of memorable meals while in Italy, and this one just didn't stick out like the others, though it was perfectly fine.

The tell of how good Rossopomodora was immediately apparent when I got a text message saying my…read morecard was charged to McDonalds....yep...owned by the same folks that own the Mickey D's down the block. Really Mediocre luke warm food that was really meh. The Arancini was almost cold. Pizza was greasy and cold. Okay the Bombolina was not cold....but that's a donut...da. It was probably the best thing. Walk farther and avoid this place...there are too many places that serve better food.
