VERY fresh bread and delicious. We've tried chicken parm, meatball sub and I think steak and cheese. Never disappointed.

The portions are good and the prices are reasonable compared to other places in the area. They still give a salad or soup with many of the dinners, and serve nice Italian bread with butter and olive oil. If your try this place and like what you got, chances are very good you will like it the next time because they are consistent. The only thing that occasionally varied is the steak tips. I chalk this up to being hard to determine in the kitchen, because until you cut into the steak, you may not know if it contains a lot of fat and nerve. All the waitresses are awesome. For example, on our recent visit there was a man with 4 small kids by himself. One of the children, who was very young, was really loud. The guy was trying to do what he could to keep the noise under control. I watched what was going on, and the waitress for the table (Dee who is absolutely awesome), another waitress, and even the woman who greet you and assigns a table all were going over and being nice and trying to help the guy out. That is really awesome and something I have never seen anywhere. To The Rome owners, management, and staff: Please keep doing things right. You guys shine above so many other so called great restaurants in the area.

This is a family run restaurant and you can tell that the staff all care about your experience. Good size dining room with plenty of tables. Occasionally a little noisy with everyone talking, but hey...it's an Italian place. Plenty of off street parking as well. Highly recommend.

The sweet, smoky flavor, mustardy goodness isn't something I've found done as well anywhere else. And the fish itself was cooked perfectly. They paired the fish with the heartiness of the harvest grain side dish you see pictured. It was a huge serving, and I ate the whole thing because it was amaaaazing. My waitress was lovely and efficient, and I also didn't feel rushed. What made it a four star experience rather than 5 stars for me was the ambiance. The music was horrible--like 1980's big hair band type music. It was such a bizarre contrast to the rest of the upscale ambiance, which looked & felt more like a steakhouse. To my chagrin, it wasn't just one "off" song either...the awful selections kept coming throughout the meal. The music gave it more of a dive bar vibe, and it was so completely offputting that I left sooner than I otherwise would have. It honestly gives me pause when I think about coming again. And that's a real shame because I'd like to bring others here to share the amazing eats. I may try it again on another day. But if the music is the same, I'll be walking right back out the door.

We originally decided to come here because we saw someone's post on social media about a tomahawk…read morespecial they had gotten here. Unfortunately, they weren't offering it when we went, but that was honestly on us for not calling ahead and double-checking since the post we saw was a little older. First off, I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation here because this place is insanely busy! We actually got really lucky. I called and they were able to squeeze us in because when I looked online, the only reservations available were much later in the evening, and with a toddler that just doesn't work for us. We were seated pretty quickly and didn't have much of a wait at all. The lobby and decor are beautiful. I loved all the meats in the refrigerators and the fresh vegetables on display. It really gives you that authentic Italian restaurant feel. Our waitress was also absolutely lovely. She was so accommodating, polite, made sure we had everything we needed, and was great with our toddler. Now the food... I ordered a red sangria and when I tell you this was probably one of the best red sangrias I've ever had, I am NOT exaggerating. It was made perfectly. If I didn't have my toddler with me, I probably would have had a few of them They bring out two different types of bread, which I thought was such a nice touch. One was more of a garlic/focaccia-style bread and the other was a warm Italian bread that tasted like it had just come out of the oven. I personally preferred the warm Italian bread. Their olive oil dipping mixture was also delicious. And the fact that they give you TWO different breads for free is just amazing. My husband ordered the veal Parm with pink vodka sauce and I ordered the chicken Parm. I had to try his sauce and WOW. Their pink vodka sauce is SO good. Not every restaurant gets pink vodka sauce right, and I've definitely had some that were awful but this place has it down pat. Seriously, so good. The chicken Parm was really good too. I loved their sauce, and the chicken was nice and thin, which I prefer. I personally like my chicken Parm a little crispier, but it was still really, really good. Based on everything we tried, I would definitely recommend the veal Parm. Honestly, everything coming out to the other tables looked amazing, so there are definitely a lot of things I want to try next time. I might get something different instead of the chicken Parm just because there are so many things that looked good. My husband also had the apple tart which he enjoyed. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back. Next time I'm calling ahead about that tomahawk though!

We had a great experience at Luciano's on a Friday night in September. It was my first time here…read moreand I was very impressed. The place is huge and each room decorated just a bit differently. We enjoyed looking at the murals and the photos on the walls. Our waitress, Donna, was fantastic and very attentive. She brought us sourdough, another type of bread and an oil mixture when we were first seated. They had about ten dinner specials the night we were there, all sounded good. I ended up sticking to the regular menu and ordered pollo alla scarpariello. It was very tasty and huge. I brought at least half home with me to eat the next day. My husband ordered the halibut special. He said it was really delicious. My son ordered the bolognese, which he ate but didn't care for the creaminess of it. One thing I will note is that I wish they had a better selection of wines by the glass. They had a great list of bottles of wines including some super Tuscans , which I love. The wines by the glass list was lacking though. I was the only one at the table drinking wine so I wasn't going to order a bottle. Overall a great experience and we are looking forward to returning.
