I like to consider myself a pizza connoisseur because I grew up in a family that was in the pizza business, so I've eaten a lot of pizza over the course of my life; growing up, my dad used to take us to eat the best pizza from the best pizza restaurants as he tried to figure out what he could do to make his pizzas better. I'm biased, so I'm obviously going to say that my father's pizza is the best pizza I've ever tried, but this is the only pizza that I've had that is as good as my father's pizza. For starters, you can tell that their crust is made with dough that they made fresh the very same day, which is very important for a pizza because just like you can't have a good sandwich without fresh bread, you can't have a good pizza without fresh dough. You know how I know how the ingredients that they use on their pizza have the highest quality? Because I don't feel bad after eating this pizza. In fact, I would have it every single day if I could, but my wife would throw a fit! It's so unfortunate that people come on here and leave a negative review just because the cashier was rude to them once because that brings the business' rating down and has nothing to do with how good the food is. I have always been treated like a king when I place an order there, and I just want to thank the owners of this place, because I can't imagine my life without this pizza, and to only have to pay $6.99 for a large Pepperoni or Cheese is amazing. Take it from me: you will never visit another pizza restaurant again once you try this pizza. I bought a large, 14" Stuffed Crust Pepperoni and a large, 14" Pepperoni the other day, and paid less than $20. Are you kidding me? How do you guys make such perfect pizza and charge so little? Nothing personal the pizza here tastes better than pizza veloz and masaroni here in bell gardens. Joes pizza is gone now and this will be my spot for the cheesy flavor. Only reason why I gave this place 4 stars is because the airy bread and cheesy taste was great only thing missing is a good tomatoe sauce and the breadstick dough is tough. So, I just found this place on Yelp. I like deep dish and was loving the Detroit style pizza from Pizza Hut but they discontinued it. I ordered on Yelp because that was the option when i hit the takeout option. The price i paid was $13.99 and when I get to the place I see the same pizza is advertised for $9?? I paid five dollars more to order online! That's almost double! I tried to ask the employee working and all she could say is "yes expensive". No offense but I don't think she spoke English. The pizza itself isn't bad I'd give it 7/10. But that ridiculous to charge me that much to order online and I got carry out! Not even curbside. read more
