We come on random Tuesday nights for their authentic homemade style sophisticated cuisine. It is small, but don't let that fool you. Locals flock here for the great Italian menu, specials, large portions, fabulous authentic atmosphere complete with music playlist & decor. All this and a perfect accompanying wine list. Standouts are chicken & veal parmesan, all the pastas (BEST meat lasagne this side of Firenze!) and of course perfect pizza! We love the Toscano, in particular. Quaint Italian restaurant in near Tamiami Airport in West Kendall. The family was in the mood for pizza and Pizzarello hit the spot. Disappointed. I don't know if this place changed management or what but our take out order was a mess. The man that took our order over the phone didn't grab our name or phone number so after 30 mins of waiting when we went to pick up our food, they had given our order to someone else. Told us to wait 10 minutes. Made us wait another 30 minutes. It is extremely rude and unprofessional to disrespect people's time. No apology, no accountability, not even a discount. We went here last month on a rare night without our child. We were looking for something simple and feeling like pizza. We had seen Pizzarello many times when taking our daughter to My Gym in the same parking lot. Well, this place so exceeded our expectations! We were expecting a small, casual pizza place. But it was actually a nice Italian restaurant with a full menu of pasta, chicken, fish, etc (and pizza, of course). Though small, the ambiance still had a sophisticated ambiance to it. I started with a glass of wine, and then we had the Abocado Bruschetta as a starter which was delicious. There was a good amount do avocado on it too. Then we split the Margherita Pizza. Everything was great, and the service was fantastic as well. Around 8:30 pm it started to get really busy, so I would just keep that in mind when going since it is a small place. My wife loves the lasagna and I am a fan of pretty much everything else. I usually get the veal or chicken parm but tonight splurged on tbe veal ossobuco. Was pleased with it but upcharge to change house salad to Ceasar and mixed vegetables instead of pasta brought the price to an outrageous $54. I will stick with the normal menu items from now on. This is a hidden gem in West Kendall. Where you dine in or take out they have such a great menu. Their pizza is delicious and their pasta dishes never disappoint. Saturday evening tried this cozy restaurant in Kendall near the airport. Friendly staff and service and great dishes. My penne vodkas, lasagna and ravioli dishes were a hit. Another pet-friendly gem in West Kendall! I stumbled upon this Italian spot close to home and decided to give it a try. It's definitely a hole-in-the-wall. They have two tables outside and were kind enough to let us sit with our dog. The service was fantastic--not just for us, but for our furry friend, too! The amazing server even brought him a bowl of iced water. The food was delicious. The meatballs were fantastic, and the pasta tasted fresh. Portions were filling, and the prices were fair for the quality. The menu has a great variety with so many options to choose from. We're excited to go back and try their pizza! Went for first time place was empty except for one table. Hostess was on the phone waved hand to sit down. We sat down, then she told us to move reserved table except all tables but one empty. Anyways, when we asked her why turns out she speaks no English and neither did anyone else. So will not come back. We order the only Chianti they have listed. No Chianti. She came back with a California cheap bottle, asking price $ 40. Then with a $ 10.99 bottle of Josh red wine asking for $ 38. Rip off, an "Italian" restaurant with no Italian wine. By the way, she said at first that they have ALL the wines on the list if you want them by glass, so, beware, you don't know which wine is in your glass. We walked out before order anything. Stopped by on a Thursday night to get our pasta fix. The pear filled pasta was delicious, just the right amount of filling and plenty of cream sauce to dip the garlic bread in! Nice size portion too. We asked to have chicken added to the pasta and that was also cooked well. The garlic cheese bread was also yummy, pretty much the size of a pizza.
