We've been going to Pizzarello for a couple of years now and absolutely love this place. The food is consistently excellent, and the staff and service have always been amazing. Tonight we ordered through Uber Eats and there was a small mistake with our order. I called the restaurant and happened to speak with the owner. He insisted on personally bringing us the correct order to our house, on a busy Saturday night! I even told him I'd come pick it up, but he wouldn't hear of it. Completely unexpected! Mistakes happen. How a business handles them tells you everything. This is how you take care of customers and earn customers for life. We went here last month on a rare night without our child. We were looking for something simple and feeling like pizza. We had seen Pizzarello many times when taking our daughter to My Gym in the same parking lot. Well, this place so exceeded our expectations! We were expecting a small, casual pizza place. But it was actually a nice Italian restaurant with a full menu of pasta, chicken, fish, etc (and pizza, of course). Though small, the ambiance still had a sophisticated ambiance to it. I started with a glass of wine, and then we had the Abocado Bruschetta as a starter which was delicious. There was a good amount do avocado on it too. Then we split the Margherita Pizza. Everything was great, and the service was fantastic as well. Around 8:30 pm it started to get really busy, so I would just keep that in mind when going since it is a small place. My wife loves the lasagna and I am a fan of pretty much everything else. I usually get the veal or chicken parm but tonight splurged on tbe veal ossobuco. Was pleased with it but upcharge to change house salad to Ceasar and mixed vegetables instead of pasta brought the price to an outrageous $54. I will stick with the normal menu items from now on. This is a hidden gem in West Kendall. Where you dine in or take out they have such a great menu. Their pizza is delicious and their pasta dishes never disappoint. They have two tables outside and were kind enough to let us sit with our dog. The service was fantastic--not just for us, but for our furry friend, too! Stopped by on a Thursday night to get our pasta fix. The pear filled pasta was delicious, just the right amount of filling and plenty of cream sauce to dip the garlic bread in! Nice size portion too. We asked to have chicken added to the pasta and that was also cooked well. The garlic cheese bread was also yummy, pretty much the size of a pizza. I can not understand what happened to this place. We went there yesterday around 4:30 pm. We were the only customers in the room except two guys on another table. A very nice lady came to attend us. We order the only Chianti they have listed. No Chianti. She came back with a California cheap bottle, asking price $ 40. Then with a $ 10.99 bottle of Josh red wine asking for $ 38. Rip off, an "Italian" restaurant with no Italian wine. The rolls were cold, the pizza, their specialty, came out in a few minutes, a bad sign. The pizza was barely warm with the extra ingredients tossed on top, as if all was put together on a precooked pizza crust And warmed in the oven.
