My granddaughter and I went to Piola in Brenham last night. We've really enjoyed our food. It came out hot and well presented and tasty. I would definitely go back just for the food. The waitress was great. She asked me how I wanted my eggplant fixed crispy or soft. She was efficient and the salad was very nice and I like serving myself so I can take the kind of stuff that I like. There was a variety of things to choose from as far as the salad was concerned it was good very good. The breadsticks were very yummy and garlic and cheesy and grilled nicely. The marinara sauce for dipping was yummy. It's very plain atmosphere. But I found that some of the little holes in the wall have better food than big fancy restaurants. Our food was still hot when we carried it out of the restaurant and brought it home was still warm in the container. I like that the food comes to me hot so I know then that they've cooked it well. I definitely will go back there. I understand their pizza is good too, but we didn't have pizza. read more

Speed of service is super slow. Server was very pleasant, just slow. Our water had a lemon in it, the lemon was moldy. We needed to ask for our order to go. The to go utensil pack is a knife and spoon only. We ordered salads and spaghetti and meatballs. I asked for Greek Dressing and received a white creamy dressing that was a cross between ranch and creamy Italian. I asked for chicken on my salad, there was one. read more

This quaint little spot on the map is full of flavor. To be honest, it is a small family owned spot. It had a buffet that kept coming. The food was super tasty and fresh. They had salad, soup, pizza, pizza rolls, garlic knots, and even nice glasses of wine available. The bufet is what my family ate. There were full menu options as well. The food was piping hot, and a vast variety of all kinds of pizza were available on the buffet. If there was not something you wanted, they would make it for you. The dessert on the buffet was cannoli. These tasy treats were great, slight gritty texture which I am not used to in this type of dessert. However, they were tasty and had a crispy shell! The ambiance of the place was a bit older. It was clean, though there were some stains because the place is not brand new. The wait staff and cook staff were absolutely amazing. Ashley was super nice! She offered to help us and kept our drinks filled. This turned out to be pretty good pizza. They had a lunch buffet, but there was not much selection, so we ordered off of the menu. The crust was pretty good, as were the toppings. Not bad to a quick bite on the way out of town! read more

Our first time at this restaurant. We had the buffet. The pizza choices were limited but the cook came out and asked if there were any requests. Pizza was hot and good - could use a little more seasoning. The salad bar was also pretty good. Several fresh veggies, boiled egg, shaved parm, etc. and cannoli for dessert. Came in for the lunch buffet--great service from Tanya and the buffet had a good variety of items: Several different fresh pizzas, 2 pasta dishes, a cream soup, salad bar and cannoli for dessert--all for $9.99. Great service! Had the small raspberry walnut salad and it was perfect. I could have added chicken to it and called it dinner. I was not expecting the garlic bread, but again it was very tasty. What a great dinner. The raspberry apple salad was fantastic. We loved the pizza; the toppings were generous and the crust was unbelievable. Pizzaiolo is as good as it gets PERIOD. I haven't had the opportunity eat a pie on the premises since relocating to Brenham. My pies have been delivered to our ranch and they are as good or better than anything I've ever had in Houston, NYC, or Naples. The food is great. The service I had last week was very friendly. The issue was safety. When I walked in I heard a lot of coughing. As I was paying for my order, I saw the delivery driver walking around coughing...a lot. Next, the man helping me was coughing. The delivery guy didn't even bother covering his mouth. At least the man helping me would turn his head. None of them were wearing masks. I hate to feel this way about a place I've frequented while traveling. It's so convenient. At least wear masks if you're coughing a lot. Better yet, make sure it's nothing more than a simple cough and stay home if needed. These guys were working hard so, again, no issues there. Told it would be here by 7:10 (because they had "no record of the order" (even though he knew what I ordered?)) Finally arrived at 7:25. Not a single apology. Also. We enjoyed a couple small pies, I had the supreme, my wife had and loved some chicken parmesan pasta, my son and his wife shared another pie, and his mom in law enjoyed some eggplant parmesan. This local company also does a lot for the local community including delivering free food to the local hospitals and fire department to help support first responders during the COVID-19 Pandemic. They should be applauded for their service to Brenham and have even received recognition from the local Brenham Fire Department. Was in town on business and decided to order in. First time in Brenham, and have already sampled several places around town. The cheese steak fries were not super awesome. There was hardly any steak and the fries should have been unseasoned so the other flavors could come through. Salad was good, nothing fancy. I got the supreme pizza. It was good. The crust reminds me of Dominos pizza crust. I added italian sausage to my pizza, glad I did! Added a perfect spice to each bite. Overall, good, but the customer service was awesome, which is why I'm giving 4 stars and not 3. If you are hungry and want something easy and satisfying, this place will get you there. read more

The best dinner I have had in Brenham! The bread sticks was hot and fresh and so so soft!! I had wings and a 8" pizza. The wings was fat and meaty and the mango habernaro sauce was home made and just plain delicious!! I had the personal pizza The Godfather and the dough was light and cooked to perfection, the marinara sauce was definitely home made and fresh. I will be coming here in a regular basis. I called three times to verify my order was being delivered, every time I was told my order was on its way. First time after 1 1/5 hours, I talked to the counter employee she verified address and order, I was told it was on its way. 2 1/2 hours called again, verified order and address, was told it was on its way. 3 hours later called again talked to management, verified order, address, again I was told it was on its way. It took me driving to the store, to personally talk to management requested refund after finding out they didn't prepare or send it out for delivery. Got the raspberry walnut salad with grilled shrimp. The shrimp was overwhelming with the butter and garlic. Their was lots of lettuce and not much else in the salad. The raspberry dressing was good. I visited this pizza spot on today. The breadstick appetizer was a pleasant surprise. The best part is that these fluffy delicious treats are free!!! You don't have to ask for them. The waiter brings hem write to your table. I ordered the Caesar salad with the grilled chicken upgrade. The salad was average, however, the taste of the grilled chicken elevated the entree. The pepperoni pizza was great in taste. I suggest choosing a larger table if the restaurant is not crowded. The size of the metal stand the Pizza is delivered up takes up a lot of room. My table had to remove the napkin holder and a few items to ensure we could fit our places and pizza on the table. This was the only downside to eating at this establishment.
