Yo Vinny
Cristal F.

This review is for their delivery. Living close to the area we were able to get our food delivered relatively fast (I want to say ~30-40min). Our order arrived still hot. My partner ordered the Yo Vinny: marinated onions, mama lop's pickled goat horn peppers, house-made hot Italian sausage, tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, parsley. I ordered the Puttanesca: Kalamata olives, tomato sauce, capers, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, smoked salt, and Calabrian chilli paste. It also comes with anchovy but I asked to have it without. Both of our pizzas had nice kicks to it and the sauce was delicious. The thin crust is perfection. If you're someone who does not like spicy, then I would omit the chili paste on the puttanesca and no peppers on the Yo Vinny. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, and if I could have, I would have eaten it all in one sitting, but I was trying to be a good girl. You get six slices worth with every pizza. It's really some of the best pizza I've had and I will continue to order from them. Highly recommended.

Really solid pizza with a great chewy crust. I ordered takeout and service was quick and easy. The interior is cute and set up well for a group meal. The pizza is a bit on the sweeter side with the red sauce and the sourdough crust but still very good!

A group of 10 of us came in to eat after having the worst experience at another pizza place up the street. Immediately greeted us as soon as we stepped in, quickly got a table ready for us. Let us settle in and then grabbed our drink orders. Came back in an appropriate amount of time for our group to take food orders. Appetizers came out in a timely manner, so did our pizza. We ordered the buffalo wings and sunburn pizza. I loved the pizza and wings. Ranch wasn't my favorite but I'm very picky about that. I felt like I was eating at a family members house with the care they gave us.

The crust is WORLD CLASS ... Menu could have been more descriptive - was surprised that our pizza was sauce based and light on the cheese - having said that was super delicious And the service - absolutely top notch

Brussel sprouts and buffalo wings

Best thin crust pizza I've had in a long time. Fresh ingredients make all the difference. Recommend the Margherita Pizza as the group favorite but my favorite was the Tamalpais with the garlic cream base. Brussel Sprouts have a touch lime and are crunchy.

Best bagels I've tried in SF. Pizza is also very good - crispy crust, comes out piping hot, and the sourcing and selection of ingredients is solid.

Probably skip the to go meatballs

We ordered the Ohio pizza, kale salad and meatballs. Pizza was the best of the group. Probably wouldn't reorder the kale salad and meatballs. Would maybe suggest they change the containers the meatballs come in for Togo orders. As soon as we got in the car the bag was leaking and you could see a loose meatball :,)

Puttanesca pizza

I came here a little lit the other night, and oddly enough, the thing I liked most was the kale ceaser salad. It was hella fresh and the dressing had to be house made. I also had the puttanesca pizza with the anchovies on the side, which was the right call, those can be so salty. Next time I would try a pizza with a bit more cheese on it.

Crowd Pleaser Radicchio, figs, bacon, gorgonzola and mozzarella

Don't be too put off by the horribly douchey name. The food is fantastic and the prices are reasonable.

Delicious pizza, huge yummy salads, and inexpensive drinks. What could be better? Get here early as it is small and does get crowded.

If you aspire to new york pizza, the lack of any crispness on the crust will disappoint. The screaming kids and slow service don't help.

Has bagel hacker closed? We were so sad to show up for bagels this morning to locked doors.

Just on hold. It seems that the steam from the bagels were wreaking havoc on the pizza oven. I'm looking at getting a new oven, but it may take a few months. I"ll post on twitter.com/PizzaHacker and thepizzahacker.com when I know when it will… Read more

The entire pizza had shifted in the box, slices were folded over, grease was splattered all over the lid, and it was no longer hot by the time it arrived. What made this even more frustrating was the amount paid for delivery. In addition to the food cost, I paid a $3.99 delivery fee, a $5.70 service fee, and tipped the driver $5.50. For that kind of added cost, I think it's reasonable to expect the pizza to arrive level, intact, and hot. The restaurant is about 4 miles from my house, and it appeared the delivery was made by bicycle, which may explain why the pizza ended up tilted and damaged during transport. I can't say that for certain, but something clearly went wrong between the restaurant and my door. The pizza itself may have been good fresh out of the oven, but the delivery experience completely ruined it.
