2nd photo shows 1 extra ranch being requested- did the "light" option make sense? No, but that is what I wanted to explain.
    K M.

Sorry for the long post! Pizza World Palm Harbor review. First day of Christmas break trying to figure out lunch and remembered that the new pizza place, Pizza World on Alt 19, posted on FB they had a special for a small 1 topping pizza and side salad for $10 and thought it would be perfect for my teen to try it out and they are less than a mile away! I was busy working all day and had not gotten myself ready yet so my daughter went with me to go in and grab it. I told her before she went in that I ordered an extra ranch (one for salad, one for pizza) and she came back and said they told her there was extra ranch in the bag and I looked and there was 1 ranch, half way filled up, so I asked her to go back in (mind you I am in sweats bc this was supposed to be a 10 min run) and let them know there was only 1 in the bag- she went in and then was standing there with the door open and they didn't give her another one so I opened my door and asked what the issue was and she said that they said I only ordered 1 ranch. I said well I didn't but ok and went in the store with every intention to buy another ranch and the guy (Nick) is so rude and condescending to me and said he can print my receipt and show it to me and I was like, well it was strange online the way it had you select it and he just went off that I did not order it and he has no control over what the website does. I say, ok and yall are brand new and I am trying to offer feedback just to explain why I think I ordered an extra ranch and he just keeps on saying he has nothing to do with the website and wanted to go back and forth about it, escalating really quickly. So I said ok never mind forget about it and kind of laughed and say this is absolutely insane over a ranch (I never got the chance to even ask to pay for another bc he was wanting to argue) and just said I will just not come back here, that's fine and when I started to walk out he told me to F*CK OFF while I was walking out the door- so I go back in and I am like "Did you seriously just tell me to F off?" and I was like I am sure you are the owner and that is why you are so comfortable speaking to a customer that way (he was) but that is absolutely insane when I was just trying to give you feedback about the website and show you why I thought I was requesting extra ranch and he double downed on me and told me he told me to F*CK OFF bc I was being a F*cking B*tch and it was my tone he didn't like. He then started acting like he was trying to offer me another ranch, which he never did or give me the chance to pay for one, and so I just told him that is crazy work treating anyone like that and it was really disappointing bc we are right around the corner and really looked forward to a new place so close and I left. I then got in my car and was shaking and so upset/shaken that I wanted to cry and drove off and then decided screw that, I am taking the food back and my daughter agreed she didn't want the pizza either. I went back and the owner was no where to be seen, the manager processed my refund, apologized profusely and allowed me to show him the app where I added the extra ranch and it made perfect sense to him that I did in fact order the extra ranch. He also insisted we keep the food, which my daughter was happy about bc she was starving, but I had no intention of when I went back. Wow, to cuss out a member of your community that is really calmly trying to tell you on the app it does look that way is absolutely insane! I really do appreciate the manager apologizing and for trying to make it right bc he really did make me feel better, but I will keep supporting local pizza places over this new chain restaurant ran by someone so angry and disrespectful. I mean, maybe he was already in a bad mood that I was only Order #2 of the day, but still crazy!

We ordered from this restaurant on a Friday night and it was delivered in less than an hour and the food was amazing! Super flavorful and priced fairly. I downloaded the app and got 15% off my order. Highly recommend! I forgot to take a picture before we dug in

The owner is available at each meal and he and his staff are very welcoming and attentive. The menu and wine list has excellent Italian selections. Sometimes just getting a few appetizers and some wine at the bar and listening to the live jazz music makes for a great evening. I recommend Positano's highly and I am looking forward to going there for a nice Easter meal.

The new owners are clearly trying to please customers, and we appreciate their efforts. Service is still friendly, and the place feels welcoming. However, some changes are baffling. A successful restaurant succeeds for a reason. Why alter the winning formula. They removed pizza (a big favorite for many), kept similar-sounding dishes but without the same exceptional flavors, and it seems they didn't retain the longtime chef and staff that made it special. The result is good, but not the standout experience we loved. We're not here to criticize harshly. Running a restaurant is tough. But the old saying fits perfectly: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." We hope they'll bring back some signature elements. Until then, we'll be visiting less often. 3 out of 5 stars. Potential remains, but the magic has faded.

The prices are actually very reasonable, and I was even a little shocked at that. I ended up getting the seafood, over pasta for $23.99, which is muscles, shrimp, clams and calamari and I went with the white wine sauce. You could also get marinara or fra Diavolo sauce. It was fantastic. She ended up getting the veal Parmesan with angel hair and a side Caesar salad for $20.99 and that was fantastic as well. I think my only issue with my experience is we came in with about 45 minutes before they closed and the minute the restaurant closed. They immediately turned the lights on and started putting the chairs up. We were almost finished with dinner, but it just kind of felt very rushed in the end and I think it was they close at 8 PM. All in all very good experience, but just wish we had a little more time and I understand from working in the restaurant industry... You don't want to hang out all night and annoy the staff but turning the lights on immediately at close was kinda meh

The chicken piccata just wasn't as tasty as normally and again the pasta was well overdone I had ordered the eggplant with Angel hair pasta al dente and my al dente was mushy also and I had ordered all my sauces on the side, thank God The sauce they used whether it was marinade or they're just pasta sauce was very bitter and had no taste. . The atmosphere was good very noisy cause it was full of people. We waited a long time there were eight of us and we were in there for over two hours. The service was good. Our server was just so accommodating about everything. The atmosphere was good very noisy cause it was busy not full. But we were in there over 2 hrs. So I also heard there were new owners??? The Italian wedding soup was excellent in flavor.

***GLUTEN FREE REVIEW*** On my Gluten Free journey to find…read morenew places to enjoy, I came across suggestions for Casa Cosenza. I read that the Chef is the wife/owner and the husband/owner runs front of house. I read they offered GF bread, pasta and other options. We went in right after they opened for the evening at 5:30pm. There was a couple at the bar and 5 gentlemen at a table. The ambiance and decor is nice and comfortable. There's a full bar. As we sat a young man brought water and menus right away, then brought a bread plate. I asked if he could bring GF bread. He returned and let me know there was none available. Not a big deal. The owner greeted us and I asked about the menu. On Yelp a menu shows clearly marked GF options, but none were on this revised menu. It did have a notation that GF options were available upon request. He said to just pick what I like and he'll see if it can be GF. I'll be honest, I "think" the server(s) must have called in sick because it was just the owner and the young kid, and the owner seemed very disorganized about serving and it wasnt even busy yet. It took a good 10-15 minutes until he was able to make his way back to us to order wine and a cocktail. His response to hubby's cocktail was that he's not a bartender and cant make a Moscow Mule. I asked if he had GingerBeer (I would walk him through it) but he said no. Hubby drank water, I had a glass of Pinot Noir. I knew things like Lasagne, Ravioli, etc could not be made GF, but the 3 plain pasta options weren't appealing to me. So I asked about the Eggplant appetizer and could it be made a dinner. He said he could make it dinner sized. Sounds good! Hubby got the Veal Scallopini Marsala. It does take awhile to get the food but you are forewarned that everything is fresh and made to order, so we were ok with the wait. My eggplant and sauce had a delicious flavor! However, the portion was small...either they forgot to make it larger (but charged me for it) or it just wasnt sufficient. Sadly, I left hungry. Worse, it was also COLD. I was so surprised! It was so cold that the Mozzarella Cheese was hardened on the inside. And speaking of hard....both hubby and my potatoes were hard and undercooked so we couldnt eat them. The veggies were good, but I also couldnt eat the chewy round parmesan crisps. Husband's Meal was decent, he said the sauce was delicious, but the veal was a bit tough, and again, his potatoes were undercooked and couldnt eat them. So to sum up, service was a bit disorganized and a tad slow (but I really do think someone called in as there was no server or bartender), the food was cold and small portions, BUT.....the flavor was really good! It is a bit of a disappointment to leave a restaurant hungry and paying $80 for a meal. Reading all the excellent reviews I think we just caught them on an off night. My suggestion, take your chances, it is a charming restaurant and the flavor of the food is really good--just try to catch them on a good night! I didn't try the mozzarella triangles myself, but others at our table said they were delicious. For mains, we ordered the "Combination for Two," lasagna, and the special of the day, a parmesan-crusted salmon. The salmon was outstanding and cooked to perfection. The combination platter itself was very generous--easily enough for three people depending on your appetite. It came loaded with fried eggplant, two sausages, spaghetti, cheese ravioli, plus a basket of garlic bread. The bread was excellent, especially with the flavorful garlic butter seasoning. For dessert, we split the lemon cake with raspberry drizzle, which was light, refreshing, and a perfect ending to the meal. If I had one critique, it's that the red sauces across different dishes tasted very similar, which made it feel a little repetitive. That said, I definitely plan to return and try more dishes to explore the variety of flavors they have to offer.
