I'm so sad....Pizza Twist came highly recommended to me and when I stopped in to try it, it was really disappointing. This is a fast casual spot with about 30ish indoor seats. The music was really loud, it was hard to have a conversation without using an outdoor voice. I decided to try the paneer tikka masala veggie pizza. Service was extremely slow. It took about 40 minutes for it to come out. I took a few bites and realized/saw the dough was way too raw. Unfortunately I did have to send mine and my husband's pizzas back, there was just no way either of us should eat them. We decided to wait and have them remake our pizzas since we were very interested in trying this out. After 15 minutes a staff member came out and said the dough was still coming out raw. They thought something must have happened with their oven that it wasn't working properly. My review is bias since I didn't really get to experience the full potential this spot has. Was super intrigued at the thought of a Halal pizza. They have pretty cheap options (pizzas for 10$) but also have some extremely unique flavors that seem curiously good. Most of them are Indian fusions like tiki masala pizza or tandoori chicken. We ended up getting a medium Halal pepperoni pizza for about 15$. The sauce, cheese and toppings were all great, but our problem came with the crust which was undercooked. I absolutely love the idea of eating Halal where you can if it's something that interest a person they should check it outs Also, having a Halal pizza place so close by means I'll definitely be re-ordering and trying other things that they have. This is the second place that I've been to for Indian style pizza. The other one is in Willowbrook. This place has a lot more variety. They also have options for gluten free, vegetarian, halal, and plant based. We came here with friends. My girlfriend and I got the achari chicken pizza twist and thin crust. We also got large. That size can easily be eaten by two hungry individuals. I liked the garlic sauce and toppings, we also got mild spicy. We also got tandoori chicken wings. They have good flavor. They are on the smaller side though like Buffalo Wild Wings. I felt for the price, the wings could have been meatier. The other place in Willowbrook uses jumbo size chicken wings. I would come back again for the pizza and to try other items. I don't think the wings are worth it unless they increase the size. Oh, it took them about 35 mins to get us the wings and pizza. If you've ever been in a real Indian restaurant, you know it takes them awhile to make the food. The Americanized ones with white chefs do it faster but the taste is also very watery. I have nothing but great things to say about Pizza Twist (coming from someone who is dairy free and gluten free). As someone who can't eat regular bread or cheese, I have such a difficult time finding pizza I can eat that actually tastes good. Pizza twist has so many options. We had a pizza to split together and we had their plant-based boneless wings which I've never had before. I found it pretty unique how they are made. The food here is pretty affordable and the atmosphere is friendly. There's not a lot of people dining in here at all but they have a lot of business for pickup / take out. Better than I expected! I usually don't like the Indian-flavored pizza schtick. It's like if I want paneer, I'll eat paneer. If I want pizza, let me just have pizza. This place has been in an area that I visit often, so I went for it last night. The main issue is the food takes a LONG time to come out. After placing my order he said 25 mins, which was kind of mind-blowing since we had planned to dine-in. I think mostly this is a takeout place, which makes a lot more sense. So we got this bread sticks order, which was really big - almost a whole 2nd pizza, which I didn't expect. It was some curry flavor bread. The good thing about this bread and the pizza was that the Indian masalas on here aren't over-powering and so you can actually enjoy the bread as bread or pizza as pizza. For the pizza, there are WAY too many choices, but I went with a half medium that was garlic sauce and paneer and we made the other half red sauce and onion topping. We ordered it spicy, and that gave it a nice kick. As far as pizzas go, this place is fine. I mean, nothing is amazing on the pizza, itself. I think I gave three stars to holy bucket, this by no means was better. I ordered the Pepperoni chicken tikka ground beef and sliced lamb. Also, I added onions, tomatoes, and green peppers. I loved both items (although the Spicy Lamp Bread Twist got a bit mistreated in transport) Dough is not extra thin, and not crunchy. More like a soft pizza dough. I enjoyed it very much, but if you like yours crispy, this would not be the place. That said I ordered delivery, so maybe it is crunchier fresh out of the oven? With these guys, its not the case pizzas were light and fluffy. our appetizers were 6 chicken wings and soy wings, which was good too. I've been meaning to try Pizza Twist for a while and got it off Uber eats this past weekend. We ordered the paneer tikka masala pizza with high spice level. Overall, the pizza had tons of toppings and everything was cooked well. I was pleasantly surprised by the texture of the paneer as well. I will say definitely go for mild if you're sensitive to spice because this ended up being too spicy to add crushed pepper flakes (not complaining though). It also has labeled vegan options for pizza including tofu, vegan chicken and vegan pepperoni. I got a small vegan butter chicken pizza ($16) which tasted pretty good and was super spicy. That said, it didn't taste like butter chicken. The vegan wings ($7 for six) were a bit weird: instead of a dry tandoori rub, they had a gloopy BBQ-style sauce and the wings themselves were slightly mushy. They use Daiya cheese here, which is among my least favorite vegan cheeses; if they switched to Violife, it would be a huge upgrade. Tried the Manchurian Veggie Pizza Twist Pizza (medium spice) small size. Burst of spices with each bite, well cooked and the spice level was perfect for me. I would recommend medium spice level if you are trying the Manchurian Pizza since it was really spicy. I love Spicy food so I completely enjoyed. Also tried the Cheesy Garlic bread and Shahi Paneer Pasta Twist. The garlic bread was good - not very cheesy so it won't fill you if you have 2-3 pieces. The pasta was a bit sour in taste and we didn't like it much. Overall very good ambiance, friendly staff, good service and lot of options for Desi style pizza lovers. When I saw the signage for Pizza Twist before it opened, I was certainly curious. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard it was going to offer halal options, so I short-listed it. Just a side note -- not everything is halal, so if you eat halal or some other specialty diet, scroll through their extensive menu to get to the correct section. Anyway, several of the halal options sounded delicious, but we settled on Halal Bombay Garlic Chicken Pizza Twist in large thin crust format. We got to choose the spice level, so we went with no spice because we were bringing this to my parent's house to share. Well, the pizza was delicious. The crust was decent, and the garlic sauce (in lieu of marinara) and the bbq sauce drizzle created a nice flavor profile. The veggies and chicken were adequate. No complaints about the pizza, but it is a tiny bit pricey. I built a similar pizza on Domino's website and it was a few dollars cheaper, but obviously it's not halal.
