I'm going to be honest, I didn't experience the entire Vero thing - I sent in one of my minions to…read moreget my pizza (I'm still getting over a cold!) It was their recommendation anyway, they heard it was the best pizza someone else has ever had. I thought that sounded like a stretch considering it was explained to me as a Subway for pizza. But, you know what, it wasn't bad! It was indeed probably better than most! I had the Margherita Pizza and Garlic Fingers. The pizza tasted incredibly fresh! For some reason they put sea salt on it though. I didn't taste it until the third piece (they're small pieces okay!) and am not a big fan of salt, but it didn't ruin it for me. The Garlic Fingers were SO GOOD. Arguably the best in the city, not a stretch! The crust - perfect, the garlicy-ness - perfect, the cheese - perfect! Absolutely no complaints and would 100% get them again, and again. When I'm not sick I'll go back, I'm interested in 'building my own!'

I looked at a…read morecouple of places online before choosing Geovanno's due to its broad menu and 2 for 1 pizza special. Or ordered an 18 inch pepperoni and an 18 inch Supreme, actually 2 of each with the special, and two Greek salads. 18 inches is a very large pizza! Actually enough pizza for 14 or more people. Both were really good, everyone liked them. I thought the pepperoni was the best, should have gone for the meat lovers instead of supreme, why add vegetables when you already have 4 types of meat, just go for it. Salads were very nice, fresh and a great dressing. I scheduled the order hours in advance and it was delivered right on time. Will definitely try other items.

There are plenty of menu options, subs, donair egg rolls, salads, paninis, donairs, fish and chips, pasta, poutine, onion rings, fries, chicken fingers or wings and some great looking Lebanese fare. I can only talk about the pizza, and it was alright. Pizza appears to be made as they need it and wasn't fresh from the oven when we arrived for dinner, but it was reheated before serving to us. And for 8$ I really couldn't complain. It was tasty and hit the spot. Service was all behind the counter and friendly and prompt. We ate in and grabbed a booth which was clean and tidy. All in a all a good quick meal option and appears to be a mainstay for Burnside lunches.
