Tony's Donair & Pizza is your typical hometown restaurant the apparently does more takeout than it does eat-in. There are only 2 or 3 tables, and you can tell the location is aged. Your order is placed at the counter and wait for your order to be called. There is no drink fountain, but a selection of beverages in a cooler. (YEAH, for Dr. Pepper®). I didn't know what to expect from a donair, really. Just that it's like a Gyro, but it has a sweeter sauce on it. I was not, in any way, disappointed. It was heavily stuffed with pita meat, whatever the mysterious sweet sauce is, and onions. A side of onion rings rounded out the meal nicely. The food was fresh and very tasty. The staff was friendly enough while appearing to be in a hurry to get something else done. It was around lunch time so I'm sure they had a lot of takeout orders to get made. All in all, a good visit.
