I love the huge variety of toppings to choose from and you can have as many as you want without extra charges! You get the perfect pizza every time. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. And the prices are very reasonable.

I'm going to be honest, I didn't experience the entire Vero thing - I sent in one of my minions to…read moreget my pizza (I'm still getting over a cold!) It was their recommendation anyway, they heard it was the best pizza someone else has ever had. I thought that sounded like a stretch considering it was explained to me as a Subway for pizza. But, you know what, it wasn't bad! It was indeed probably better than most! I had the Margherita Pizza and Garlic Fingers. The pizza tasted incredibly fresh! For some reason they put sea salt on it though. I didn't taste it until the third piece (they're small pieces okay!) and am not a big fan of salt, but it didn't ruin it for me. The Garlic Fingers were SO GOOD. Arguably the best in the city, not a stretch! The crust - perfect, the garlicy-ness - perfect, the cheese - perfect! Absolutely no complaints and would 100% get them again, and again. When I'm not sick I'll go back, I'm interested in 'building my own!'

The delivery drivers are pretty chill, and are always friendly to my "yappy" dog. Delivery most times is pretty speedy they usually do a good job at telling you over the phone when your order is going to arrive-if its a busy night they usually mention it. I have tried their club sandwich and I'm pretty sure it was canned chicken-it had a metallic taste. I also ordered dessert once--they don't really have any options and I got the cheesecake which had no toppings and came frozen. Really disappointed in that. So, I'd stick with what they do best-pizza and garlic fingers. We (me and my BF) always get pizza sauce instead of donair sauce for 2 reasons-we prefer it, and their donair sauce is always separated, chunky, and watery at the top...doesn't seem...right. This is the only reason I haven't tried their online ordering system--you can't make specifications like pizza sauce over donair sauce. I find their prices a bit high--a 2L, Lg pep, md garlic fingers will put you back $40. You can get the same thing from other pizza places for less then $30. It would be nice if they had specials once in a while--their "specials" have been listed on their website/menu as long as we've been ordering there, making them not-so-special and none are really a good value, either... My only last bit is make sure to pre-heat your oven while you wait for your pizza to arrive--its ALWAYS cold. ALWAYS. Overall I recommend them if you're looking for some standard tasty 'za.

There are plenty of menu options, subs, donair egg rolls, salads, paninis, donairs, fish and chips, pasta, poutine, onion rings, fries, chicken fingers or wings and some great looking Lebanese fare. I can only talk about the pizza, and it was alright. Pizza appears to be made as they need it and wasn't fresh from the oven when we arrived for dinner, but it was reheated before serving to us. And for 8$ I really couldn't complain. It was tasty and hit the spot. Service was all behind the counter and friendly and prompt. We ate in and grabbed a booth which was clean and tidy. All in a all a good quick meal option and appears to be a mainstay for Burnside lunches.

The first impression was that there was ample parking, and a friendly host greeted you at the door and seated you at your table. You can choose between a lounge and a dining room. When we sat down for dinner, the vibe was quiet, mostly families, with different seating arrangements, from tables to booths to a raised platform with a couple of tables. The place was quiet, and with the different table arrangements, you are guaranteed an intimate meal with those around the table. Prices are on the higher end for a chain, and the menu has a good mix of appetizers, salads, handhelds, bowls, steak and seafood. The kids' menu was impressive, with salmon as an option, which I appreciated compared to the usual macaroni or chicken-finger options you typically find elsewhere. My spouse and child had salmon, and I had a full rack of ribs; both meals came with seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes. Portion sizes were generous, and the food tasted good. My only critique is that kids' meals should always come out first, which didn't happen in our case. Both adults' main meals came out first, and my child's came out shortly after. Again, the meals had great taste, but were on the cold side, and the seasonal carrots that came with the meal were undercooked. However, the carrots were great in size, looked like they were picked from the garden, and I believe they were pan-fried/roasted with a glaze. They have a variety of wines & drinks, and it looks like they also have a dessert menu if you want something sweet at the end of your meal. The staff were polite and kind, and overall it was a good experience, but they could improve a couple of things when serving patrons.
