Why is the bread at Pizza Shuttle better than the bread at Subway? Pizza Shuttle has a solid turkey provolone sub that has yet to be matched by any other sub shop I've tried. Two can split a sub and small pizza for under $15. Pizza has a little bit of spice to the sauce that makes it better than regular chains. Don't judge this place by the exterior. Don't judge it by the college kids that work there. It's cheap and tastes great. My favorite local Norman, OK pizza stop. The price is always right offering a wide array of subs and pizza options that magically always has a coupon available for use. They include multiple types of crust options, cheese options, toppings, sauces, and the always sought after Gluten free option. The wait time for pick up is always 15-20min if you choose the take out route, and there is always a down to Earth staff available to help out and make recommendations. If you're one to over indulge in alcohol in the late hours of the night, Shuttle is open till 3:00 am for your hunger needs. They offer three separate locations to cover the bulk of the Norman area. read more

So what Pizza Shuttle has crappy pizza? Sometimes crappy pizza is just what you want. I mean, I really like their veggie pizza and they are super quick. They've messed up my order a couple times, but that's what you get from a place like this. You can't expect perfect service every time and you can't expect their food to be consistent either. Sometimes, your pizza is soggy on the bottom for some scary reason and sometimes it's not. I like to assume it is juice that has leaked from the tomatoes. And that is why Pizza Shuttle receives a whopping 3 stars from me (and pretty much everyone else). read more

We are in town for just a day and decided to order from this place to our hotel. The guy who took my order was super friendly, the whole order was hot and exactly as ordered and they were fast. And the pizza and Italian Sub was delicious! Highly recommend it! read more

The first time I ordered from here, it took 1.5 hours to get my one pizza delivered. The second time, I never even got my food. I ordered at 11:24pm. Confirmation email said 45-min wait. At 1:15am I called them because I still hadn't gotten my pizza. The girl on the phone told me it was out for delivery, but they would make me a new one (doesn't really make sense, but I agreed). So I wait some more. I call again at 2:45am, still pizzaless. The same girls answers. She tells me they don't have an order from me (which makes no sense, why didn't she tell me that the first time I called? She did ask to confirm my address and phone number at that time, so did she not even look it up?). She offers to have my pizza remade again. I tell her no, I've waited 3 hours and I just want to go to bed and ask for a refund. She did say they would refund the charges, but I have a feeling that money is going to go missing just like my pizza! read more

This is good stuff for a pizza joint. I always call them on pizza nights. Far better than all the bigger chains. They are Not as speedy, but it's worth the wait. I still have never waited more than 45 minutes (that during peak time) for my order to be delivered. The pizza is good, the selection is big, and the staff has always be nice enough for the wages they make! I recommend trying the alfredo pizza, it's a staple for my kiddos and I like it myself. We usually get ti without the chicken cause my kids are of the "cheese pizza" group. Your best bet, IMO, for a good pizza delivery. read more

This place is a Norman institution. You won't like it if you're a pizza snob, because they're not gonna sprinkle truffle oil on it by request or give you "artisinal crusts." They won't stuff your crust with cheese (because that's just gross). But it's consistantly good, very reasonably priced, and they provide reliable service. The sauce makes the pizza, I think. I've never had sauce like it. Thick, a little sweet and some of the spiciest I've had. The crust is pleasantly chewy and yeasty, and their menu extensive enough to give you pretty much whatever you want. The subs are very nicely done hot or cold, and they are very relaxed about substitutions. They use baguettes from a local French bakery except on Sundays, when the rolls aren't available to be picked up fresh. They're crusty but very soft on the inside, and all their meats and cheeses and veggies seem fresh and of good quality. They also do pizza pockets (similar to a calzone, but the sauce comes on the side for dipping, and the crust is their pizza dough with a crunchy parmesan finish) and hot wings, all very tasty and inexpensive, and they have some nice desserts from the same local bakery they use for their bread, as well as house made brownies. I dunno what the person who called this an "insult to pizza" was thinking, because it's far more like traditional pizza than the weird pizza monstrosities that come out of the big chains, with their pumped up crust that tastes more like it's been fried (like Pizza Hut's pan pizza) or their super-fat with fat-sauce on fat-crust varieties. Up until today, this was a go to place for my wife and I. We were able to order 2 subs with 2 sides each and 2 drinks for $14.39 plus tax and delivery, less than $20 for a fill up meal for hard working grad students. Then all of the sudden tonight I call to order for another late night fill up and the same thing I have been ordering for two years costs $38.00. While looking at the menu and their coupons and seeing the advertised price still being the exact same a manager jumps on the phone and starts getting verbally abuse with me. He talked over me, snorted at me, and then lied directly to me by saying their coupons had changed when they have not. Then he tried telling me their menu and deals were wrong and they were not honoring their coupons. This is unacceptable behavior for a business and they have forever lost my business. read more

I work in the service industry and often get off work after 2:30am. Pizza Shuttle (on Lindsay) NEVER fails me!! I can call right at closing (which I tru not to do) and they are STILL so happy to serve me, and they always treat me with the nicest service!! I get a quadruple onion pizza - extra well-done!! It is ALWAYS amazing!! With my hours I order 3-4 nights a week, and I have never been disappointed!! I've also had other menu items and have NEVER been disappointed!! My 1 complaint, is the ranch... I just do not like Kens Brand, which is what they use... however, this is it the employees doings!! My pizza is ALWAYS delivered HOT, ACCURATE, and ON-TIME!! Most of the people who answer the phone even know all my info, which makes for super easy ordering, and the personalized service makes customers feel like they genuinely care about their guests!! PLUS, they have the best tasting pizza in Norman (and surrounding areas)!! YOU WILL NEVER REGRET GOING WITH PIZZA SHUTTLE!! Also, the prices are LOW!! They do not jack up the price for delivery!!! I woke up in the middle of the night with an intense gluten craving. I realized everything was closed, and half-heartedly settled for pizza shuttle. Much to my surprise, the food was dank. I got a pizza, bread, wings, and cinnamon sticks. All very good, but the cinnamon sticks brought me to tears. I recommend this fine establishment. The only bad thing was the man who took my order. I recently ordered from here and had it delivered. Now the delivery guy was friendly and polite. I was excited for the food, but once i had it in my hands I noticed that it kind of stunk, like rotten food. As I opened the bag and took out my garlic bread sticks, they weren't even sticks it was like they had cooked pizza dough and sprinkled some garlic on it. And when I got to my Chicken Alfredo Pasta, I had ordered Parmesan cheese on top, they loaded it and I mean LOADED it with Parmesan cheese. When I stabbed it with my fork and the whole, thick layer came off. It stunk, and not the way that Parmesan cheese is supposed to smell. It smelled bad. The spinach I had ordered in my pasta wasn't even cooked, and was still cold. The chicken was rubbery and when I took a bite it tasted rotten. I literally gagged and spit it out, then I had to wash my mouth out. Never buying from here again. I'm honestly surprised it has this many positive reviews. read more

Went to visit a friend in Oklahoma and was told this was the best pizza place in Norman. Ordered a cheese pizza from Pizza Shuttle and thought it was alright. Simple, Cheap, Delicious! A Norman icon! Don't let the slack, laid-back air fool you, you'll get good food! ...and I do mean FOOD, not full of chemicals that the large chains put in their food to ensure that it tastes the same coast to coast. This is a local "chain" and some conisors can taste a slight difference in the sauce between the 3 stores. Many vegetables are bought fresh and cut. The dough is made fresh every day. This results in a less greasy, less rich menu that can be eaten every day if needed. Coupled with low price, I've known people to live on this stuff. You'll get THE BEST price in town for pizza, delivered or picked up. Employees are often a fun mixture of hipsters, stoners, slackers, and college students. You can tell that they work in a laid back atmosphere: piercings, facial hair, jeans, sneakers... a less opressed work force... less corporate/nazi rules. They all seem to be having a good time except for the few employees who are pissed that they still work at a pizza place. This store has a lobby. It's usable, but with one look, you can tell that most of their business comes in the form of deliveries. It's not frequently bussed especially when they've been busy. There's usually plenty of noise: a mixture of cable tv, blaring music, and phones ringing. Do everyone a favor and have it delivered, or at least pick it up and leave. The other 2 stores don't have a lobby. So take part in Norman's favorite pizza for over 20 years! read more
