Was hoping for better pizza, we are visiting from out of town and was trying local. The pizza was nothing outside of what you'd get from day old Pizza Hut. Pizza Shuttle is my favorite pizza in Norman, but I will never visit this location again. My friend went to this location to pick up our togo order, and immediately got told to go to hell because he was not wearing a mask. This employee (greasy thin pony tail, very daft) was so unbelievably rude while we remained calm the entire time. I tried to get his name, he was a coward and refused to tell us. He then told me to f*ck off. He called myself and my friends "spreaders" mind you, I was wearing a mask. What is with all the hostility and hatred for one another? I have been ordering Shuttle since the drinks were FREE! Over the past few months we tried a number of different pie shops in Norman. We gave in to some sweet coupon deals, hung out at some watch parties, and tried a couple places we had not had before. In the past weeks we have had Shuttle a few times and they have reminded why their pizza has been a local favorite for nearly 40 years. Every order we got was accurate, toppings plentiful, arrived quick, hot, and fresh. This review is being posting while I am 'nuking' last nights leftover slices for breakfast. It's been awhile now, and it's time. We have been loyal customers to dominos for many years. At least until the store closest to main st decided to drop so far in quality and customer service that it quite literally gave me covid. So, we searched for a new, more local pizza shop. We found pizza shuttle, and have decided to not give dominos anymore of our business. Pizza shuttle is consistently delicious, the pricing is fair, and the salads are MASSIVE for the price, and so fresh. Discovered pizza shuttle a couple years ago and really enjoy their thin crust pizza and Frito chili pies. Love how much toppings they put on their pizzas. Visited the store on Robinson in Norman for what I thought would be simple carry out order being I live 1 block away. Ordered a Frito chili pie. Took almost 45 minutes to an hour. Employees just standing around. Lobby is the size of a 5x5 prison cell. No place to stand so made it a really awkward experience. Gave up and went home came back and food was sitting on top of one of their ovens. Kinda cold. Will never order carry out from this store again. May not even order from this store again. Cheap but good alternative to large pizza chains - nice menu selection. Their pizza is cheaply made, and their facilities are kinda nasty, but two things give this place some serious value to me - price and selection. You can make a custom pizza with any of 4-5 sauces and about 30 toppings to choose from. And they LOAD the pizza with your topping selections. They also have decent subs and non-typical sides for a pizza joint, in addition to standard garlic bread & cheesy bread. It's a nice break from the big chains anyway. By the way, Shuttle is delivery & take out ONLY. There are a couple tables at one location (Lindsey St), but it's too nasty inside to enjoy yourself. Finally, for those you care, it is interesting to learn the Pizza Shuttle story. It was originally an OU student project for an economics class, but they now have like 3-5 locations. Likes: Great menu selection & low prices. Their typically fast service helps too. Food isn't bad and can be quite good if you know how to order. Dislikes: Facilities are kinda nasty, but luckily it's pretty much carryout and delivery only. Not gourmet quality, but tasty enough anyway. It's a tiny store. You can only order pick up or delivery. They're really quick so you can call ahead and pick it up and by the time you're there your order is ready for you. It's a good go-to place for pizza and subs for late night and def better than your other options. Papa Johns? No, thank you.
