I know why people eat here. There is no other choice…read more Positives: Service is great. I think every server there, six or seven of them, checked on us at least 3 times. Large ribeye was tender and cooked to order. Nice value for choice meat, $33 Value: two meals with drinks were $75 with tip Negatives: Time. Took over a hour to get food. Salad hot plate and salad was warm and full of bitter produce. No dressing could save it, premade dressing anyway. Steakhouse that doesn't make dressing, lazy Dining room: Wow this place needs to be cleaned and holy shit the flies. Should have got dominos and would have straight and not late.

They also had fried chicken, salmon patties and loads of other veggies, cobbler, etc. Food was flavorful and warm and my waitress was attentive, friendly, kept my sweet tea full and had a lovely southern accent. Just a good all around experience. And, can I add $11 including a drink and sales tax for an all-you-can-eat buffet is a great deal! I do love a good Mom-and-Pop!

There is a back door but I'm unsure if it's a staff door and i forgot to double check. Very casual but thoughtfully decorated. Printed menus for lunch unsure if they have other versions but i could tell that it didn't include everything as i could see they had beer offering that were not in the menu we received, and i saw a sign advertising pretzels and maybe a dessert that i also didn't see on the menu. Either way, we had a turkey Rueben and a marble quesadilla both were great. Service was fast and quick. Prices were on par to what i would think the cost for lunch in this area would be less than $15 a person.

First, let me say the stars have no reflection on the staff, food or atmosphere at the restaurant…read more This review is solely on the owner. It was my husband's 50th birthday. We have friends and family that we wanted to get together with and this was pretty much the middle for a meeting point. Everyone there drove an hour or more just to be there. We had a great meal with amazing service from everyone in the building. After we ate, we moved outside where they have a nice sitting area and corn hold boards that we started using. Mind you, almost everyone has been drinking, not drunk but they had a nice flow going. So while throwing the game a truck, that's parked inside the outdoor area, starts up and begins backing up. No idea where the driver came from, not a single word was spoken from the person before the truck was started. So needless to say everyone was a little slow to react. But, the driver simply starts backing up. Two people from our group was right in the area he was backing up to. Again, not a word has been said. No, I need to leave, will you move, nothing. The guy has backed up far enough that my husband had to hit the truck to get the guys attention. He then slams the truck in drive and hits one of the tables that is out there. He then rolls his window down and starts cussing my husband telling him to move while almost running over the corn hole board. Needless to say, even though his staff was amazing, being told he was the owner, we will never return. He may have had an emergency, but NOTHING will excuse his behavior. Lucky that my two year old granddaughter was with my daughter at the time and not running around like she had been previously or the cops would have been called. **he finally picked up the phone when my husband tried calling and his excuse was he wanted to get home for the main event, a race I believe it was. So no emergency and absolutely no remorse for his actions.
