Austin, Minnesota is home to Hormel. Hormel makes SPAM! The Austin Pizza Ranch makes a SPAM pizza. It's delicious too, if you like SPAM. I've been to many different Pizza Ranch locations. This location was excellent. The food quality and flavor seemed a step above other Pizza Ranch businesses. I was very impressed with this one. Buffet is good lots to chose from great chicken and good variety of pizza when you don't see the pizza you want on buffet you can ask for it

We order ahead many times and every time we end up waiting 20-30 longer then the time we are told it will be ready and are chicken has either been raw or over cooked and dry. They also have continuous forgot part of are order the last 3-4 times we have ate there. read more

We don't have these in my neck of the woods so it was a pleasant surprise to see one close for lunch today. The folks here provided great service from taking the order to those keeping the place clean and the food plentiful at the buffet. I really enjoyed the chicken and was pleased the variety of pizzas was ever changing during my short dining experience. I'll be back next time I have a chance...maybe not this location but somewhere lol. Just hope it isn't another 20 years. Something to consider...am I the only one that finds it odd that in this day and age folks still serve instant potatoes and packet gravy? read more

I was a bit skeptical about it at first since its a bit tucked away from where it lays on HWY 218. I got in there with a party of 32 and was seated immediately. The staff was friendly as can be and the food was wonderful. Although we got there with 30 minutes till close, the owner was pleased to see us and even cooked us pizza the way we wanted. All other aspects of the meal was great. Prices are fantastic, quality is EXCELLENT and the cleanliness of the restaurant is pristine. Pizza ranch is my favorite pizza in our area. We have been to a few different locations, but I think this was our favorite. Decor is great. We love that the buffet is centrally located in relation to the seating. We ordered a pizza that wasn't on the buffet. The only reason that I'm giving them a 4 is because I think the pizza took too long. My family was waiting for me to eat...they were done. Service was great! read more

May have hit the bottom of the hill! There last evening - 6:00 PM - nearly empty. Chicken was grossly over cooked. Potatoes, corn, etc. were all luke-warm. Well, what can I say? If Walmart decided to have an exclusive pizza buffet for its clientele, this would be the spot. I like he pizza ok, it isn't amazing but it's better than eating at a typical fast food joint because of the salad bar. Pulled into a campground near Austin, MN and the hosts said Pizza Ranch delivers here. I spent nearly $100 on three pizzas and some sides. Not especially pricey given my order. But, it was the worst pizza we've ever had. It was inedible. The pizzas were flavorless with the texture of cardboard. Can't recommend and I won't go back. Wish I still had my $100! read more

I've dined in, taken out and had Pizza Ranch delivered. I have to say that the drive up and delivery service is terrible. It's often time a pretty slow process and tonight it was so terrible I'm writing a review. I'm not sure why, but every time providing a phone order is torture. At pick-up, I proceeded to watch the car in front of me wait 4 minutes before someone came to the window (and that was after they rang the bell twice). Then it took another 5-6 minutes for them to get the order! In total it took me about 20 minutes before I had my food to head home and that was 20 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. They really need to work on their service or they'll start losing customers. It will be a long time before we place another order. read more
