This was our first visit. So glad we stopped in. First of all our service, Landon was our server. He was amazing. Very quick and helpful!! The food was good. I had read some reviews that stated it was just marginal, but I would beg to differ. We had the chicken wings and the taco pizza. Both were great. It was a basic sport bar feel, but the bonus rooftop made it more of an experience!! read more

Recently went to Pizza Pub for a birthday celebration. We chose this specifically because they were advertising an event before a Vikings game. I was able to make a reservation and it made no comments about any extra details about that day. Upon arrival we were surprised by a $20 cover charge. We grab one of the last two tables outside and we couldn't even talk as a group as the band was soo loud. Like couldn't even hear each other at our own table. We asked the host to see about the other patio and they said it's $5 more a person and no we couldn't go up without paying even to just look. We decided to check the event online and noticed that the event had advertised as "no cover" so we were misled. We spoke with the manager who was initially reluctant to offer any compensation or understanding of the situation. Eventually she allowed us to move inside for our money back. It was at this time that we also found out that we had been double charged for wristbands as people had arrived at different times. The manager helped us to solve the dilemma but she was again not the kindest and was short. If I could review that part of the experience alone I would say 0/5 stars. Lucky our time here did turn around, the server for our table was so kind and attentive. The pizzas were very good. Perfect for any group with plenty other of options. Pizza is what is on the menu downstairs and the upstairs has a fancier menu. They were offering football special and free shots during the game but they didn't seem to have it all figured out. We got our shots after about 10 more minutes if game went by. It seems they are really trying to bring people in for the game and drive business but it was pretty quiet by half time. Hope they find something that works. read more

Nice, clean spot. This has been here a few years. We loved the appetizers but the pizza was a bust. I did not realize it was cracker crust "pizza". Personally this is not pizza to me but more like a round cracker with sauce and cheese etc. Our server was kind and attentive. There is a steakhouse upstairs but we won't be back for the pizza. read more

Pricing was a surprise for this place considering it's next to a steak place. Great menu to choose from for pizza and sides. Wings were great. Had the taco pizza and it did not disappoint. I ate at this place twice. Once for a beer and once to carry out. Both times I was greeted by friendly staff who knew what they were doing and my order was always on time and ready when they said it would be. No surprises. Ambiance is a sports bar, great place to watch the games. read more

Sis and I had our 2nd visit here on Bingo night. It was the first night of Bingo so it wasn't very busy. Sis won twice! I was in the mood for trying their dill pickle pizza and it did not disappoint. Service was good. Bingo was fun! read more

Great outdoor space with large TV and several smaller ones. Went there for a couple of World Cup games and it was not busy. Easy to get a table. Too easy for what they were probably hoping for. Food was OK, I like the pizza. The staff is friendly, but the service is a bit confused. Not sure they operate on the top as much. From a physical perspective, I'd argue it's one of the best places to watch a game In the Twin Cities. I will definitely return. read more

I hate having to leave a review like this because I genuinely love this restaurant, the food is great, and the servers have always been wonderful. Unfortunately, the reason I won't be coming back is because of the manager, Debbie. During our visit, she messed up our order, not our server. Instead of taking responsibility, she brought over a server who had been working incredibly hard during the busy USA Cup week and publicly blamed them for her own mistake in front of customers. It was uncomfortable to watch and completely unprofessional. This wasn't an isolated incident. I've been here multiple times, and I've repeatedly seen Debbie yelling at employees over things they weren't doing wrong, embarrassing them in front of customers and coworkers. I've even witnessed her cursing at employees over minor issues that could have easily been handled respectfully and privately. A good manager teaches and supports their staff instead of humiliating them. The servers here work incredibly hard and deserve much better leadership. It's obvious that the work environment she's creating is making employees feel uncomfortable and undervalued. I truly enjoy this restaurant, but I would never recommend that my family or friends work here under the current management. Something needs to change, and it starts with replacing the manager. The employees deserve a respectful workplace, and customers shouldn't have to witness staff being treated this way. Fix this for everyone's sake. read more

Pizza Pub is far better than their upstairs sister restaurant, Prime. They are on the pricier side, but the food is decent, not the best pizza, but definitely better than the national chains. read more

Pizza Pub is a very nice new space at the National Sports Complex. The interior is pristine although a bit loud even for a sports bar given the acoustics inside. Nevertheless, there are plenty of TVs for anyone interested in watching a sporting event during their visit. As for the food, the Italian Stallions were good - a little unique, but a fresh take unlike really anything I can think of trying before. Their wings were nice and crisp, a big plus. The pizzas were just OK. The taco was about what you'd expect but could use a chip/shell to add some crunch like you get at a lot of other venues. The Popper Pizza was unique too, with a berry spread and cream cheese base. Not sure either would drive me to return, but it wasn't bad at all. You're expecting pizza, and you'll be just fine with what you get at Pizza Pub! read more

I'm gonna keep it real...real simple...Pizza Pub rocks and it should just take over the whole damn building. Dump the steak, double down on the pizza! The pizza is frickin' awesome! I'm so glad I didn't judge them by the stupid steak house upstairs (which I reviewed). We tried 4 kinds of pizza...meatza pizza, cheeseburger pizza, reuben pizza, and taco pizza. Yes, yes, yes, yes! Only a couple of things I would tweak with the pizza, but they're so minor, I'm not going to waste your time and even mention them. Dump the steak, double down on the pizza! I'm just an old dude that lives in the NW Burbs. What do I know? But I have a mouth and taste buds. Just admit it, you owners...yes...you guys...you don't have the knack or inclination or talent or instinct or whatever that it takes to run a snobby steak place. Plus, the economy is taking a giant dive. Dump the steak, double down on the pizza. The pizza is great. read more

My mom and I decided to try eating here in lieu of going to Broadway where we would typically grab pizza here in Blaine. They may not have trains going around the ceiling and tchotchkes, and the bar definitely has the typical modern millennial grey vibes, but I suppose you don't really go out for pizza for vibes or aesthetic. The server got us a table immediately even though it was quite busy. Our drinks were delivered promptly and were well poured. We ordered the Tequilaberry Salad (I make this regularly and this one was pretty good), a 9" Popper Pizza, and a 14" Pizza Pub Special. The salad was good, the seasoning was definitely underwhelming but it's made for "everyone" so I adjusted it at the table. The pizza was AMAZING. The popper pizza is a must! I wish we would have gotten the large of this so I had leftovers! The Pub Special was good, the crust was crispy, but if you take your leftovers home and put them in the fridge I would STRONGLY suggest that you put it on parchment paper because the crust fuses itself to the box overnight. Overall I was very impressed with their food, and I will most definitely be back. read more

Food 4/5 - Our pizza was cooked just right and the dry rub wings were good. Excited to try more menu items in the future! Service/ Ambiance 4/5 - This place was busy! Our waiter was attentive and helpful with food decisions. We got our food within 30ish minutes of ordering. I would definitely make reservations if coming. read more

Welcome to the City of Blaine's newest establishment- Pizza Pub! Offering dine-in and carry out! Once inside you will find a full bar, lots of tap beer selections, wine, fountain drinks, pull tabs and electronic tabs and the menu has way more to offer than pizza. Huge appetizer selection chicken wings, cheese bread, onion rings, coconut shrimp, pretzels, broccoli and cauliflower bites, nachos, walleye, etc! Pizzas come in original, pan or cauliflower crust. They also have a salad selection, classic pasta dishes, wraps, burgers and sandwiches accompanied by your choice of chips, tots, fries or pub fries. Typical kids menu and featured desserts. They take reservations Monday through Thursday only. They ask that you call ahead for groups larger than 10 people but again no reservations on weekends. Happy hour weekdays 2-5pm. My only complaint is the booths in the bar area are terrible - you slide off them because they don't have a foot rest. Staff was welcoming, very friendly and had a team approach for table service. read more

Waited over an hour before our server told us that the kitchen messed up our order! Finally after an hour and a half we were served. Mediocre at best. Manager came over but offered nothing off the bill! Will not recommend read more

This was my first time at Pizza Pub and boy was I pleased with the experience! I stopped in for some drinks and appetizers with friends, ended up going with the breaded cauliflower tossed in buffalo sauce which was amazing. What was even better was our server Kelsey! I loved her energy! She was very friendly, informative of the menu, and fulfilling of our needs. She is the envy of every other restaurant because of how good of a server she is! I will be coming as soon as possible to get the cauliflower and amazing service! read more

Pizza was really good. A bit light on sauce Tall beers are $ 7,00. A bit much I thought. Service was good Next time I will try the burgers It was a clean and nice restaurant read more

The food did not have much flavor. It all started with the cocktail. I ordered a seasonal mule, it was very medicinal. Then we had the tequila berry salad. The dressing on the salad was flavorless and watery. Last part of our meal was a pizza. We ordered the Pizza Pub Special. It was bland, how could it be with all those toppings? I asked for extra sauce to see if it would help, but it didn't have much flavor. I will say our waitress was so great! Im just hoping that this place improves. read more

actually, I love to eat here, but went at noon on a Monday and walked in and there was nobody in the restaurant/bar area and nobody came out for the 10 minutes we waited, then we left. They should be more transparent about their serving times or maybe state something on the door. very disappointed. read more

Their service and atmosphere were both great. The food was awful. The quality of pizza is probably similar to a Chuck E. Cheese or a pizza ranch. Breadsticks were stale. But, you can't beat the location when you are at games in the nearby facilities, and service was great. read more

Great new pizza place in Blaine! Went for lunch with my son today. Great atmosphere with tons of seating and TVs everywhere - would be a great place to watch a game! The pizza is excellent! The best tavern style pizza in the area, and we've had them all. Better than Broadway or Red's for sure. If you like Pizza Flame but wish their crust wasn't so soggy, you'll love this pizza. Service was great too, and you can tell they've been spending a lot of time getting ready to open. As we were leaving, my son (aka the pickiest eater ever) asked if we could get it again this weekend. Can't wait to come back for more! read more

We have been wanting to go and check out the new place but it is usually packed. It is very loud and it was only partially full. I can't imagine with all the tvs how loud it would be during football season. Food was ok. Typically the regular bar food. Nice to have individual size pizzas. Now the best thing was the staff. Our server was fabulous and everyone else was nice and helpful. I would go back just for that factor. read more

I have a few issues with Pizza Pub in Blaine. First issue-it's way too noisy in that place! I'm not old but I could not hear the person sitting across from me without talking loudly. Even when the waitress was taking orders, she was so loud that I had to cover my ear on the side she stood. Screaming kids didn't help. Please put some kind of sound deadening material up. Geez!!! Second-I ordered the coconut shrimp dinner. I wasn't asked what kind of salad dressing I wanted but luckily was given ranch which I like. But the shrimp was flat, like it was run over. Never had flat shrimp before. It was not butterfly shrimp either. I expected some plumb to it but we all were like "where is the shrimp?" Third-the sauce for the coconut shrimp was nasty! Sriracha in the sauce? Seriously? I ordered the shrimp anyway because if the shrimp is good, you don't need sauce. I was wrong. Why are all the restaurants going with hot flavors? Many people hate heat. Offer other sauces please. Fourth-my sister ordered a chef salad and everyone had their food but her. The waitress came by and asked if everything was okay. Had to ask where her entree was. Fifth-moving the chairs on cement floor was like nails in a chalkboard. No one in our large party plans to ever go back. Everything is fixable. I hope this review helps give some ideas. Thx read more

I don't like writing these types of reviews, but sometimes I am a tough critique. I was pretty excited to see this new pizza pub open very close to the house. Me and my family went for lunch, around 1215 pm on Sunday. Place wasn't busy. We were seated right away, and our drink order was taken very quick. We all ordered waters, a couple sodas and a big wave on tap. What was we fed was a cider, waitress took the cider back and served the correct beer. Came back a few moments later to take our order. We started with wings. Do not skip the wings they were very good! On the menu there are different size pizzas, personal, small, medium, large. Every-time someone from our party ordered a small the waitress asked if they wanted the personal or small, we said small we want small. Myself and my husband ordered the pan dish pizza, my daughter ordered the pickle with no Canadian bacon. Order served with one pan dish pizza(dough not cooked), and the pickle pizza served with Canadian bacon. My Hubbard was glad for the mistake and his was served thin crust as the dish was not good at all. Upon telling the waitress that the pickle pizza was ordered without bacon, she said oh I didn't know. My daughter said it two times. She acted like she wasn't going to have it re made. She eventually did but it was very awkward. The pizzas that were served correctly were very good. It is a shame tho that the service was not good read more

New Restaurant in town. Heard good reviews about their other sites. Had a group of 22 people for a Birthday party. I have been to the Blaine Pizza Pub 3 times. Each time the food and service were great! I can't wait for summer to hang out on the rooftop!

1 star I only got to sit down... and I ordered drinks 40 min ago and no drinks!!.. it's like they forgot we're here and we're sitting in the middle of the room.. we've been here for 45 min maybe an hour and haven't even ordered food yet read more

Save yourself the trouble and go to an established place like Adagios in New Brighton. I'm not going to go into to much detail but 1 hour to be seated, just our group, each drink took over 25 minutes to get, food come randomly and not all at once, 30 minutes between plated, food was not good and absolutely horrible when you think of the price, it took 3 hours to get in and out, and we were not there to hang out all day, nor watch a game. Usually when we go out to eat we are in and out in 45 minutes...but not here read more

refused to serve us alcohol despite everyone in our party being of age. Service was very slow.

Every single time I've came here It's been a horrible service. We never get checked on by the waitress. We can't even get the TV to play the Timberwolves game. It's ridiculous and I'm really disappointed in this establishment. 0/10 would NEVER recommend. read more

Won't visit again as it's too loud. Take out quality was lacking. the sauce on the pizza was not pizza tasting, but spicy.

Just ok, nothing special. Pizza was on the salty side. I guess that's OK for some. There are other places that serve pizza nearby that are a much better option. With all the hype, I expected this place to be so much more. read more

The service is good. The food is good. But I cannot understand why the staff gets to sit at the bar and hang out. It includes the managers, cooks and servers. I have never seen this at any other restaurant. It slows service. And is irritating when you have to wait for something. Plus it seems like cooks and servers get board and tend to stop by the group and hang out. It's very irritating!!! Hope it changes. read more

Takeout service very slow. Promised at a certain time. Waited there for over a half an hour!

Big disappointment. Nasty food. Overpriced. Not family friendly. Not worth the hassle. Go to Tipsy Steer down the street.

Absolutely great pizza. Love the vibe of the place. Service very good and efficient. Can't wait to come back.

it took 2 hour to get my easy mac and my burger was undercooked overall not very good experience but the pizza was amazing
