I called Pizza Pro this evening to place an order for pick up. I ordered a cheese steak, French fries, and onion rings. when they told me the price would be $27.00 I replied I thought the price was kind of steep and the gentleman ( I use that term loosely ) who took my order got political. I didn't order a side of politics with my cheese steak. Regardless of your political views, if you are working with the public you should never share them with customers! I will NEVER order from them again and encourage others to do the same. I only wish there was a way I could give Pizza Pro a zero rating. read more

I have had pizza from world-famous shops like Giordano's in Chicago, and shops in New York, Sacramento, San Francisco, LA, and others. There's simply no better pizza I have found than Pizza Pro! This place has completely gone downhill after changing ownership. The last 3 times I've ordered have gone wrong. The first two times I get onion rings that were completely burnt beyond recognition and were inedible. Frauds! They tried to overcharge us when they delivered to us and we had it all added up from most recent menu with the $2 delivery charge. They wanted over $5 more and we added it up with the delivery person and they called the store and they wouldn't accept it. Then owner blasts us on Facebook when we wrote a review, they said they remedied the problem and reduced the charge which they didn't. We still paid the overcharged order. Owner wouldn't even get on phone when we called the shop. He spouts a lot of crap because we wrote an honest review. Well bravo Patrick, bravo! read more

Big slices of good, crispy-crust pizza and awesome bay fries. Better yet, they really take care of their customers: I drove all the way down from PA (near the Delaware border) to pick up my order in terrible weather. When I finally showed up about 40 minutes later (more than double the time it took to make my order), the manager said "I tried calling you to see if you wanted it delivered instead" and I said "Nah, I'm coming all the way from PA." Nasty!!! While I loved the pizza here, I can't return! While we were waiting for our order, the delivery person returned from making a delivery. He proceeded to walk in the back, put trash in the can, push it down with his bare hands, put lid on, and go straight to refrigerator to remove a stack of pizza dough. No hand washing! He then knocked a tray to the floor. He simply picked it up and put it on the counter for use. And this was with customers in sight of him... This place was recommended by a friend, and I am glad it was. The pizza was delicious, as were the stromboli's and the french fries. The service was fast and friendly as well. We always try to find a Friday night pizza place, and while living in the suburbs of Wilmington, DE this was the place. Limited seating is available, but carryout was a breeze. Rude! The food is ok, but everytime I call to order they are rude. One time, I called and placed my order and asked for a total. The guy I was talking to yelled to someone else and asked for a total. The other person said, "tell her $ 3.95 for the fries, $8.50 for the sandwich and $2.00 for delivery". I asked for a total, not an itemization. I can look at the menu and do math, apparently they can't. I asked for the total b/c I wasn't sure if I had a current menu and what the delivery charge was. Then when the order arrived, the total wasn't $14.45 it was $15 and change. They also have no patience when taking the order and no manners. I say I want to order and they say "what do you want" with an attitude like I am bothering them. I am sick of it and won't be ordering anymore. Had ther pie many times and always enjoied! This trip ordered two sandwiches: chicken cheese steak with mushrooms and a italisn classic with proscuitto and sharp provolone. Both sandwiches were delicious and at 7:00pm the rolls were still very fresh and soft. They have freshened up the inside a bit and have an updated to go menu. We found this restaurant by searching on Yelp. We had just moved to the area and didn't know what pizza delivery to try. We read the reviews and boy they were right! The pizza was New York style, although it was a tad thicker than traditional New York style pizza. The toppings were fresh, and delicious! We ordered the cannoli Puffs, they were cinnamony and buttery goodness in a takeout container. We also got the sweet potato fries which my husband and I both enjoyed. If i could give this dump 0 stars, I would. First, the person taking my order was clearly untrained in customer service and lacked kindness. The tables were all covered in leftover food remnant and the trash cans were overflowing. After I had to clean a table myself. When my pizza arrived, I was even more disappointed. It was burnt and was skimpy on toppings that I requested. I asked for the manager and the owner presented himself. He also lacked customer service skills and made me feel very uncomfortable. My burnt pizza was not replaced so I was forced to throw it out, as it was barely edible. Never again will I dine here. Have been a loyal customer for many years. Employees at store are now screwing up orders, and owner blames me, the customer. Today, I ordered a Large Pepperoni pizza for delivery. When we received it, it looked like it had been tilted during transport because most of the toppings were slid to one side. Owner only wanted to replace with Medium. All I want is what I paid for, no more, no less! Owner brings up a previous incident that was again an employees fault. I had ordered 2 large subs that I was going to pickup. A few minutes after I ordered, the store called me back, said they had run out of large rolls and asked if we wanted something else, and I said no, we would order from somewhere else, which we did. About an hour later, I get a call from the owner, who was wondering if I was picking up the subs. I explained to him what had transpired earlier, he got angry with me and wanted to know what he was going to do with the subs. On this most recent incident, he brought the sub incident up, blamed me for stiffing him on those subs, began to yell and curse at me, told me never to order from them again and hung up. Tried calling him back to rationally discuss the matter, but he refused to answer. Went to store to talk to in person and he had left. Then I received a threatening text from owner telling me to never order from him and to never come to his store because he would call the police. I have referred numerous people to his business, brought him my company's business, and this is how he treats me. Does this sound like a rational businessman?
