First, the staff was all VERY PLEASANT... drinks arrived timely and the menu was ... well it was PIZZA HUT but no prices were shown on the menu. ICEBERG must be the only lettuce in the region because that's all the greenery to be found on the salad bar. Our group's member choosing the salad bar said "eh" when asked about freshness. The small pizza was small but cheesy for those sharing it. My Buffalo Chicken Melt was served hot, melty, and surprisingly tasty albeit not a lot of chicken but I appreciated the waitress remembering BLUE CHEESE dipping sauce because Ranch never goes with Buffalo style chicken. The cheese sticks were what you'd expect . Beverage glasses were refilled timely and napkins offered midway through lunch The air conditioning was definitely working (Bring a sweater if you don't like it cool ). Overall it was an acceptable chain outlet lunch with FRIENDLY service (Rest rooms were clean too). I still would always recommend local local local

A small menu, basically just pizza, sandwiches, salads, and ice cream here. I got a pizza. It was…read morethe lamest pizza I've had in some time. The crust was thin, rubbery, and tough with no flavor. There was far too much red sauce which was completely unseasoned and far too little cheese - and from me that's really saying something because I'm not a big fan of cheese. As a whole the thing had no body, almost impossible to pick up without all the toppings sliding off. On the plus side there are many options for build your own: 3 sizes of pizza and numerous toppings including unusual ones like mango salsa, zuchini, brisket, chorizo, and pulled pork. The menu mentions "farm to table" but doesn't elaborate so it's rather meaningless. I think some of the vegetables are grown on local farms. The menu does list the source of their flour, a small Kentucky mill. That's appreciated, but it's a real shame they don't know how to make it into a decent crust! After pouring over the toppings list for too long I finally decided on chorizo, chicken, jalapeño, mushroom, and onions. Topping portions were generous. I will say that the jalapeños I got on mine were exceptionally good and I really liked the chorizo. It can get busy here. Order at the counter and get a beeper and food is brought when ready. It didn't take long, 10-15 minutes I'd say. Practically no cell service but the wifi was good. For adult beverages, a large beer selection, drafts and cans, emphasis on local craft brands. Not sure about hard liquor. For wine, it's only sold in full bottles. I guess they don't sell enough to keep open bottles fresh? The plastic forks were the cheapest available, with tines that melted as soon as they touched the food. Doesn't anybody test these? So while I appreciated the flexibility of 3 sizes, and the many topping options and their quality, overall it was a disappointment and I wouldn't go back.

Our waiter was Parker and he was absolutely awesome and very attentive. When we were seated, Parker brought us 2 complimentary piping hot breadsticks with marinara sauce. We were pleased to hear that these were all-you-can-eat because they were very good! They have quite a few lunchtime specials and from 2:00-4:00 (weekdays) all sandwiches are half off. My wife ordered the lasagna and I ordered the House Calzone. The lasagna was a HUGE serving and very tasty. My House Calzone had ham, ground beef, pepperoni, sautéed mushrooms & onions, mozzarella & ricotta cheese. Oh my! How do I describe this deliciousness! Let's just say that after the first bite, I closed my eyes and enjoyed the flavors! The crust is light and fluffy and it had plenty of ingredients. It was big enough for 2 people to share, but (except for the bite that I gave my wife) I devoured the whole thing! Gondolier is what I would call a small chain restaurant. There are a few scattered around (even one in Sevierville, TN) but they are still small enough to always use top quality ingredients and keep their prices very affordable. There use to be one closer to me in Berea, KY, but unfortunately it closed. You may think this crazy to read, but Gondolier has one of the best cheeseburgers that I have ever had!
