Good food Great deals on the wings Wednesdays and good beers on top ! Great place to catch the games and close to home so even better

8pc Mozzarella Sticks

So this place is a hidden go to pizza joint on the East Side. It definitely outweighs Mikes, little Cesar's, round table & a few other local pizza spots around the area. It was nice & pleasant atmosphere to where we could watch the Warrior's play and enjoy on screen with good food & a cold one. The gentleman who helped us was very kind and relaxed, and very welcoming. I would say the pizza was amazing and can't wait to try other ones. The mozzarella sticks were nice and cheesy and crunchy. The cheeseburger was disappointing as the meat was a bit charred & over cooked. The carne asada fries would have been on point had the cheese & fries stuck to the foil. It really makes you have to work to eat them fries & they should try a different way to deliver. Either than that a 4 star but with improvements of helpers recommendations perhaps they can get to 5 stars from me. Definitely going back and trying more items.

Ask for Oscar when you enter this gem I can't say enough good things about Pizza Presidente! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, with the perfect blend of classic San Jose vibes. Now, the pizza--an absolute treat! I ordered the combination, and the crust was crisp yet chewy, the sauce had just the right amount. Every bite was bursting with flavor. They clearly use high-quality ingredients, and it shows. I also tried the other sides- fries and wings hit the spot !! The service was lightning fast without feeling rushed, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the generous portions. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Pizza Presidente is a must-visit. I'm already counting down the days until my next slice! Five stars all the way!

top pizza is the asada pizza with no onions. bottom pizza is the pastor one.

definitely hit up this spot. i say its a must try if you live in the south bay or just in general. there's a few pics here. i've tried the birria pizza with the consomé. good stuff. the pastor pizza was good too. can't go wrong with the asada pizza. get the pizzas to your preference. i usually get no onions. the onions in the pico for the asada pizza aren't bad tho. hardly notice them. asada pizza comes with salsa too. trust me. put it on the pizza. the wings here are great. they got that buffalo style wing taste i can't explain over a review. service is cool too. can't complain. am i hyping this place up? yes. why? just try it out for yourself.

Carnes asada fries. The best

The best pizza in San Jose! Great ingredients! Great food! Friendly service here! Very welcoming! A great place to watch the big games going on!

foood was amazing , service was quick. super clean inside. would definitely recommend and come back.

Medium Pepperoni stuffed crust, delicious!

I've ordered take-out from them a couple of times now, and I have been very satisfied. Pizza: 5/5 Delicious! I got a large Al Pastor and a medium pepperoni with stuffed crust. Both pizzas were loaded with toppings and flavor. I love that they use cupping pepperoni so it gets that crispy texture, my favorite! I also recommend getting the stuffed crust, it was oozing with cheese and their crust is perfectly toasted *chef's kiss* Pricing and portions are decent, a medium and large fed a hungry party of 4. Service: 5/5 Pizza was ready by the time they quoted it would be ready! I can't wait to go back and eat there next time to try their other items!

Nice clean spot to hangout with and enjoy some pizza. Loved the jalapeño poppers and the fries . Great time with friends.

There's not enough good things I can say about this place. The pizza is delicious the wings super crispy and with a lot of sauce, 100% recommended. Even my picky eater that literally doesn't even like pizza ate a whole slice, and he was doing his little happy dance.

Great place to eat pizza and have a Michelada! The pizzas are delicious. The dough tastes as if it was home made. Fresh ingredients! We had pizza Al Pastor and BBQ Chicken. We went on a Sunday it wasn't crowded. They have booths and tables you can put together for a bigger group. They got our food out quick. Friendly staff! I will definitely come back during Happy Hour. Can't find a Michelada elsewhere for $5!

Really saddens me to make this review, but we got FOOD POISONING from this place. I understand things happen but because my 2 year old got really sick, I feel I had to warn people. If anyone got sick from the birria pizza let me know. This happened around the end of January. Sucks because we really liked their pizza and wings!

Small Creamy Chicken Pizza

Came for lunch on a Friday. You order at the counter and sit where you'd like. My friend and I ordered 2 mini pizzas. The creamy chicken and the Hawaiian. Both were delicious. I just wish they had wine. But they do have beer and white claw. Staff was friendly. Pizzas came out in 10 minutes or so. They also have tv screens. Cool spot to enjoy a pizza and a beer, and watch a game. Will definitely be back.

Amazing Pizza !!! 2 nights in a row couldn't resist.... Customer Service was excellent!!! Can't wait to try everything on the menu.

We ordered two Pollo Saltimbocca dishes (one with a cream pasta substitution for an additional $8), the Pollo al Limone, and a half bottle of Chardonnay. The restaurant offers one indoor dining area and two outdoor seating areas--one in the front and one in the back--which gives guests plenty of seating options. The food was a bit saltier than our personal preference. The cream pasta substitution, despite the extra charge, wasn't anything particularly memorable compared to similar dishes we've had at other restaurants. However, the highlight of our visit was definitely the warm and welcoming customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel appreciated. We also appreciate that the restaurant closes for a few hours in the afternoon before reopening for dinner service. It's nice to see a business that gives its staff a break during the day. Parking can be a bit challenging due to the busy neighborhood. Be aware that street parking is paid, and most spots have a two-hour limit, so you'll need to keep an eye on the time. Overall, we'd come back to try more of the pasta dishes on the menu and hope to discover a new favorite.

I made a reservation for a Thursday evening, and even though it's right in the heart of downtown, we were lucky and managed to find street parking in front of the restaurant with free EV charging! Right when we stepped in, the interior is decked out in a modern art deco style. Vibrant & fun colors while still maintained a sosphiscated touch. After a few recommendations from our server, we decided to try: Mushroom Arancini (10/10): These are amazing, as soon as they brought it out, we can both instantly smelled the truffle oil. The exterior were crispy & pipping hot, the inside has creamy mushroom. It was certain my favorite of the night! Rigatoni alla Vodka (8/10): A solid pasta! The sauce was great and balanced. There was a good amount of sauce that coated in the pasta. The pasta itself was perfectly al dente! This is a staple dish but I felt like it might lack an interesting flair. Stuffed Branzino (8/10): Another solid dish! The whole were already debone which made it so much easier and fussed free. The skin on top was insanely crispy, the meat were juicy and overall tasted very healthy and fresh! It was a nice paired to the heavy pasta dish! They also gave us 2 cute canolis as a free birthday dessert which were super good! Overall, this is a beautiful spot for a date night and I'm glad I took my partner here! I even got $20 off the bill just by downloading their app and creating an account. Definitely planning to come back!

We started with the garlic bread for appetizers. It was well presented but I think it would've been well paired with some sort of dipping sauce because it was a little dry. My boyfriend ordered the thousand layer lasagna and really enjoyed it. I ordered the rigatoni and thought it was just okay. I didn't realize the dish didn't come with protein so it felt like the dish was missing something. The sauce itself was nice but for some reason, some of the pasta was undercooked and some of it was al dente. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate pudding and tiramisu. The presentation was so beautiful. Both my boyfriend and I loved the pudding most -- I would definitely order this again. The tiramisu wasn't bad but it would've been better if it had a stronger coffee taste and if it was a little more moist. The wait staff was incredibly attentive and definitely made our visit feel special. She paid attention to the small details like helping us label our boxes, which I've never had anyone do before. On a completely unrelated note, I was surprised to find the bathrooms are shared between both genders. While there are separate stalls, the sink area is shared, which I wasn't expecting for a nicer restaurant like this. But I would say overall the food was hit or miss but the service and experience overall was amazing:)

The location is pretty convenient, just outside Downtown San Jose, and parking is relatively easy with a decent amount of parking available nearby. One thing that has been consistent every time I've visited is the service. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and attentive without hovering. They're usually nearby when you need something, which makes it a good spot for a work lunch or dinner where you don't want to spend half the meal trying to get someone's attention. It's definitely a little on the pricier side, but I've been happy with the food so far. I haven't had anything here that I thought was bad. On my previous visit, I had the spaghetti carbonara, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. This time I went with the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was a solid, comforting plate of pasta, and they finish it off with freshly grated Parmesan, with the amount based on your preference. I also tried the espresso martini this time. It was smooth and enjoyable, although I didn't get much of an alcohol kick from it. If you're looking for something stronger, this probably isn't the drink I'd go with. Portions are decent and the overall atmosphere works well for both business meals and something more casual. I could also see this being a nice option for a date night if you're looking for Italian food in the area. Overall, Palermo has been a reliable choice for me. It's not the cheapest Italian restaurant around, but the combination of good food, attentive service, convenient location, and easy parking makes it a place I'll continue coming back to when I'm in the area.

This I enjoyed a lot, and it came with 2 dipping sauces. Caprese $16 (4/5) Cant go wrong with some nice mozzarella, yummy fresh tomatoes and balsamic glazed. About 4 pieces of each. Beet Salad $16 (4/5) Super refreshing beets, orange pieces, and really goooooood goat cheese chunks all went well together Garlic Bread $8 (4/5) They give you free bread too so if you don't want basic bread (which was still really good) with their olive oil/balsamic get this. I think they forgot to make it like that. Chicken Parmesan $35 (2/5) The chicken parm was ok, it had a nice cheese top and marina sauce. But the pasta it went with was terrible too. NO FLAVOR! Spaghetti Bolognese $24 (4/5) This was the only pasta from the 3 that was acceptable. It had a lot of sauce, meat, flavor and the noodle wasn't under or overcooked. A hidden gem for the food, wine, AND company…read more Goodtime Bar is one of those spots I'm always recommending to people before they even ask for recommendations. Any place can serve wine, but it's the food, atmosphere, and community that make Goodtime Bar always a good time. The menu has creative flavor combinations that make it fun to try a little bit of everything. The serving sizes vary from smaller bites to sharables, so it works out great. My favorites I order every single time are the tom yum bucatini, steak frites, and tostadas. As for other items I've tried: oysters are flavorful and thoughtfully put together. The crispy fingerling potatoes with seaweed mayo are criminally addicting. I think the chips and dip are made fresh in house so they have that great real potato texture and flavor. Pro tip: GET THE BREAD. Perhaps a secret menu item. An order comes with a few slices of perfectly toasted buttered bread. You'll want it to dip into the tom yum bucatini sauce. TBH it can be used for all the sauces... in the prawns is great. The chef is a master of sauce. And don't skip dessert! The creme brulee is my guilty pleasure at the end of the night, with a perfectly crisp, crackly sugar crust every time I've had it. The steak frites and a bottle of wine make for a perfect girls' night. There's a nice selection of wines at different price points, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. You can even taste their house wines before committing to a glass, which is a great as someone who doesn't know much about wine. The space works for different moods, too. Inside feels intimate and lively, with a fun buzz that adds to the atmosphere. Outside is lovely when you want open air while catching up with friends over food and wine. Disco ball nights inside are especially vibesy! One of my favorite things is the community here. Their Monday 6 PM run club brings together a welcoming crowd, and the post-run wine-glass offer is such a fun touch. It's a great way to meet people, and the friendly energy makes it easy to feel included even if you come solo. I've gone a couple times when time permits and everyone is sooooo friendly. All paces are welcomed and they have a few people appointed to help direct and make sure no one gets left behind. They also have options beyond wine, including a yuzu cocktail and nonalcoholic drinks like Hiyo. There's a few nearby downtown SJ lot with 90-minute free parking. TL;DR: Come for the food, stay for the wine, and leave loving this DTSJ hidden gem. Whether it's a girls' night, a necessary glass after work, or a Monday run-club meetup, Goodtime Bar is one of my favorite spots in SJ. Rightfully deserved my first Yelp food review.

Both dishes were full of flavor, and we honestly had zero complaints. I can definitely say I found my new spot for pasta! Bryan answered the phone and assured us we will have enough time to be seated and served before closing. He was very kind and welcoming so we headed over. We were greeted by Chris and seated immediately in the table that he let us choose. He made thoughtful suggestions on location being by the window, the booth where it was quieter or wherever we wanted because "this place is yours". This is not a typical thing I usually experience when being seated so this stood out to my wife and I. We appreciated this gesture. Once seated he took our drink orders, my wife wanted to try one of the wines before getting a glass so he brought a small sample. Once returning he asked if she wanted to select another or "take this one for a drive". The expression was simple and displayed the thoughtfulness that came from him the entire night. Simply taking time to craft words and be present is something that we noticed and appreciated. We ordered a carbonara and a pasta with prawn. The food came out fairly quickly since we arrived at a time past some of the peak hours. The bread with olive oil and balsamic came out first obviously. The carbonara and prawn pasta was so beautifully plated and presented that we forgot to take a picture for this review. We dug into the food immediately. At this time, maybe a coincidence, I checked my watch to be mindful of the time. At the same time, Kevin walked up to our table to let us know what we are good on time and that, "the back hasn't started the dishes or started cleaning up yet". There were still other parties around at that time. This was another detail that stood out to me. He might have seen me check my watch but to know what I was thinking at that moment and then respond to it is a first for me. This is beyond thoughtful. After a couple more wholesome interactions with Kevin and Chris, we ended up ordering a pannacota. This was the best I have ever had in my life. Kevin stayed for a while to chat while Chris was tending to other tables at the time. I can't say enough about the warmth in this place shown by Bryan, Chris and Kevin. I will definitely return and I want to bring my family there. The food was top tier but the people were what will bring me back.

The staff was very helpful in getting us to pick menu items and then let us enjoy our meal without too many interruptions. This was a date night and we really enjoyed it and would highly recommend the spot.
