I've had repeated issues with this Mountain Mike's location at 29 S 3rd Street not honoring discounts that are advertised on the official Mountain Mike's website. This is the fourth time l've called to place an order, only to be told they "don't accept" the online discounts -- even when the website clearly shows that this location participates. Each time, I'm forced to pay full price or cancel my order. It's confusing, frustrating, and feels misleading. If a location doesn't plan to honor corporate promotions, that should be clearly stated. Customers shouldn't have to argue or double-check policies every time they order. At this point, l've lost trust in ordering from this location. I hope management or corporate addresses this, because it's not a good customer experience and definitely not what's advertised online. On top of this, management reached out to me asking to reach out to them via contact form on their website and I still haven't heard back. SCAMMERS. Probably my favorite mountain Mike's location. It's super clean. The stuff is friendly and they cook the pizza very well. It's not underdone and it's definitely not overcooked. For a quick run to the mill Pizza chain, this place is doing it right. I drive downtown when there is another location a couple blocks from me, just because they are clean and nice!! read more

Always enjoyed Mountain Mike's Pizza. However, this evening at 6 PM, I placed an order for pick up. I was a bit disappointed of my medium size pizza. The crust was COLD like it's been sitting there for a long time and just added topping on top. I was there 20 min after placing my order. But...that's not all! Customer service needs to be improved. Saying, "YOU'RE WELCOME!!!", goes a long way. After I was handed my pizza, I said, "Thank you!" Did I get a response, NONE!!!! Don't think I'll go to this place again. I'll just get my pizza at Pizza My Heart. I had better services there and very respectful. read more

Pretty fair price for decent pizza! It's not artisan pizza like some of the local competitors, but the price point is definitely under the actual value of the pizza. They have gluten free, regular or thin crust pizza. I'm a huge thin crust girl so I'm appreciative of these options. Pizza is made with quality ingredients. They tend to be "topping heavy" that works for most ppl. I'm a less is more kinda person but I know a lot of ppl that appreciate heavy toppings. I wouldn't recommend the garlic bread with cheese. It's really nothing phenomenal and was a tad soggy. Maybe stick to the pizzas. I'll try the wings soon! Hopefully they don't disappoint. Worth the door dash. Delivery was swift and food was hot. The 5 stars is for the sunken dining area with a mess hall feeling. Of the 3 other sunken dining areas that I know of in the downtown area: 1. Aji Bar in the Signia Hotel: This is like where you are like at a futuristic spaceport in the Middle East. 2. The Starbucks in the basement of the SJSU Student Union: This is like where you're locked in that prison cell with Harley Quinn from the movie. 3. The Haberdasher Bar: This is like being in an underground mine or inside a tomb from The Mummy. Compared with the other three, eating inside Mountain Mike's Downtown is like doing a Game of Thrones oratory inside the Oakridge Mall. The BBQ sauce on the pizza stood out a lot more than the white sauce. The pizza crust seemed more like Sammy G's and less like Pizza My Heart. The bacon pieces also stood out well enough to contrast against the BBQ sauce. The chicken pieces did not stand out as well as the chicken did over at the now extinct 4th Street Pizza. The diced onions did well enough to entice the nose. The tomatoes provided moisture but were not as pungent as the spiced tomatoes or the sundried ones would have been. Edited to add: They have an all-you-can-eat salad bar for lunch, and FREE parking for 90 minutes in the underground garage. read more

In my opinion, Mountain Mike's has the best wings I've ever tasted. The inside is moist (not dried out, as I've experienced with other sources), and the outside is wonderfully seasoned. I love that you don't depend on sloppy, drippy sauce to make the flavor. They serve these delectable wings with different dips, so you can "glop" them up if that floats your boat. You don't need to, though, since they are already full of flavor. Yum yum! read more

This is the most disgusting site for ordering pizza online. You have to enter all your card details and address. They unfortunately are not aware that there is Apple Pay, PayPal and other ways to pay quickly. When my pizza was ready I didn't get any notification that I needed to pick up my order. Horrible! I ordered from them 3 times and each time my order comes messed up. I spend about $70 on my order and with that I expect my order to be correct. Ordered last night and I got the wrong soda, I asked for ranch and they didn't bring any. No Parmesan and no pepper flakes. When the guy delivered he stayed in the car and made me walk out to the street to get everything. I asked him for the receipt so i could sign he said it was fine- now I'm thinking they better not try to fraud me and fill in a tip that i DID NOT agree to. Overall i'd rather order from a different location. This location owner clearly is new and does not know how to train in customer service or food service. Save ur money, go to a different location or even a different pizza company altogether. read more
