My husband grew up in the neighborhood and has always swore that this old school establishment offers up a reliable slice. I've tried ordering the full pies for delivery before which left something to be desired. But the specialty slices are where it's at! I love the counter guy during late night shifts. He's always friendly and helpful in suggesting slices. The chipotle chicken is by far my favorite! Perfectly spicy with a just the right amount of sogginess. DO NOT recommend this place, there are much better pizza options in the area. It is sad and evident that Pizza Park changed ownership or management in recent times. This used to be my preferred pizza joint in the UES for over 10 yrs, but that is now over. The new pizza quality and recipes are exceptionally disgusting. First stop on a personal pizza tour of the upper east side - my boyfriend highly recommended and it hit the spot! I had a slice of vodka sauce pizza and it was served hot! We also shared a grandma style slice and the crust was fantastic. Service was quick and friendly. Ambiance is more geared for to go pizza but we were able to sit and eat. Honestly super disappointed with this place. Stopped by for a 'quick' lunch and it took forever, was so disorganized, and not very good. I saw they had a vegan cheese pizza and I wanted to try it because I can't eat mozzarella cheese. I got up to the front to order and the guy told me to order at the cashier (didn't really make sense but fine). I get to the cashier, tell him what I want, he checks the oven and is like this isn't in. He put it in and disappeared. Kept taking other people's orders while I was trying to order my knots and drink. Finally got to tell him I wanted those and he rung me up. The food came out very quickly which I would later find out means because they didn't heat it up. I tried to get marinara for the knots and that was also another attempt to track them down. I get it, they were busy. But it's also really rude to not pay attention to a customer trying to order food for more than 2 seconds at a time. My vegan cheese pizza was so gross. I work at MSKCC and thus am a regular at Pizza Park. If one word can describe this little neighborhood pizza joint it must be this: Incredible. Staff are incredibly friendly and the selections of different pies are incredible! I personally recommend their grandma slice (a thin margharita slice shaped as a sicilian pie) which is incredibly crispy and the tomato sauces that they use on the pie is incredibly aromatic, fragrant, and delicious. Other pies that I recommend include their "bacon ranch and onion" (possibly the most unique slice that you can get in NYC, consists of crumbled bacon, roasted onions, on top of a white cream sauce of ranch. I mean who doesn't like ranch?), vodka slice, and taco slice. I usually get two pies and each slice ranges from 2.00 to 4.00 a slice depending on what you get - definitely having a lunch for less than 10 dollars is feasible here and it'll fill you up. There are always those famous pizza joints in NYC: Di Fara's, Juliana's, Paulie Gee's, Roberta's, etc. But if you want to experience heaven in the Upper East Side, Pizza Park is a must do on your list. read more

This place NEVER fails. I can work night shift or day shift and if I need sustenance, Pizza Park is dependable. The soups come with generous portions of garlic bread.
