I grew up here in Milan, and once a month we had Pizza from Pizza Joynt. It was good. So when I moved away, I could never find a Pizza place that could stand up to Pizza Joynt's Pizza. Every time I came home for a visit, I would always have to get Pizza Joynt before leaving. I just moved back to the area, and so one of my first places to visit was Pizza Joynt in Milan. I was so upset, that I couldn't have my Pizza, because they only except cash. I as many people I know, do not carry cash anymore, it's either Debit or credit. Missing the old pizza's, they produced in the past. We ordered extra ingredients. Just ate a slice I swear it had less than the last pizza we ordered without paying for extra ingredients. We Start picking through the pizza could count on one hand the pepperoni on the 1/2 we ordered it on. The crust was even thinner than past pizzas. It was a joke. This place has really gone down the hill. Save your money. read more

We lived in Southwest Rock Island for years, I grew up there and raised my children here. Hungry for pizza after dropping off our grand daughter I decided to call Pizza Joynt a favorite for 30 years. The lady employee answered the phone , Thank you for calling Milan Pizza a Joynt we are closed, she then just hung up. Amazed I called back to tell the employee how rude she was and to say I was ok they were closed. She responded to me by saying she wasn't rude and she didn't have to explain anything to me, then hangs up again. I will not ever order a pizza from here again, I will tell as many people as I know to not patron your business because of what you did! Good luck on growing your business with a poor attitude like that. If your open til 9pm and someone calls at 8:45 you should take the order not say your closed. read more

This is my family's favorite food stop after Skiing at Snowstar. We often make trips and grab a couple small pizzas for the four of us. A great change from the standard Pizza chain restaurants. Always good and fresh. read more

A timeless small establishment with over 50yrs of business. My family has been coming here for almost all 50. I had been out of the area for 35 years still coming back time to time to fulfill my old style pizza needs. I have brought my children who also enjoy bringing their own children. The Kennedy family has been doing it right for as long as I can remember. Even though the world around us is changing, this is one constant. Don't fix it, if it isn't broken. By the way they do offer a wide selection of toppings and my family loves the sausage and potato. Believe it or not but they used to offer a shrimp pizza which I never thought would be good, since they took it off the menu, I sure miss it. So if you're looking for yuppie this is not your place, but if you want great food and good window service this is your place. read more

I recently returned to the QC for a visit after several years away. My favorite pizza has always been Harris Pizza. I have had Pizza Joynt years ago and it was almost like Harris. During my visit a friend convinced me that the Pizza Joynt was the same as Harris. That was completely WRONG! The pizza was terrible, nothing at all like it used to be and nothing at all like Harris. I have had much better frozen pizza, and frozen pizza sucks. A few days later, I had the "real thing" and it truly was as good as always and I was shocked to see it was somewhat cheaper than Pizza Joynt. If you want taste, quality, and better value, take the few extra minutes and drive into Rock Island for the highly superior pizza. read more
