Despite the rush, the staff handled the chaos with kindness, patience, and professionalism. The manager, in particular, stood out--making sure things ran as smoothly as possible and that every customer felt seen and taken care of. Even with some delays (understandable given how busy it was), the team made the process of ordering and picking up food clear and efficient. I ordered online, which I highly recommend because lunch time is busy here and parking is very limited. I decided to get the two sliders combo with seasoned fries with the smallest amount of heat level and was blown away! It has just enough kick but the sauce and bread it brings is perfection. There is not one thing they did not do with thought and love for the food. The fries were crispy, perfectly seasoned, there was a delicious slaw on it, the extra side sauces, a toasted bun and even a free reusable bag for take-out! I thought that $15 for 2 sliders and fries was excellent bc Dave's Hot chicken literally chargest the same thing and you get less food. I ate one slider with some fries and was so full. Even hours later when I gave my husband the second slider, it still tasted amazing. I truly can not say more good things about this chicken, it is the best hot chicken I have had North of Tennessee, go there and get you some!

From the moment we arrived, the service was friendly and attentive. We never felt rushed, even though it was later in the evening, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was delicious, and after a long day, it was exactly what we were hoping for. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that still values hospitality at the end of the night. The Jug Handle Inn turned what could have been a disappointing evening into a great dining experience. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

They don't skimp on the sauce. Good customer service. Neutrals: Wings are on the small side. Grilled Wings are already pre-cooked before they go on the grill. Honey & BBQ was spicer than the Hot & Honey flavors. Honey & Hot was really watery consistency. Their Blue Cheese tastes and feels like sour cream with bits of blue cheese crumbles tossed in. Corn Nuggets felt like they froze and battered clumps of corn, more used to corn nuggets having a more hushpuppy filling, or at least cheese with the corn.

The chicken coop is an unassuming little spot that has a bigger sit down spot right across from it. The fried chicken looked and smelled great and there were customers lining up to get some. I went on to see what other foods were available in the rest of the market, but returned here. I ordered 2 wings, 2 breasts and the Mac n cheese. At home I started with a wing, these were huge and perfectly cooked. Juicy meat with crunchy batter. The breasts were almost as good, and also huge. I realized I probably ordered more than I could eat. The Mac was southern style, maybe slightly over baked but good nonetheless. Customer service was quick and friendly, and the meal itself was a bargain in my book. On subsequent visits I'll stick to the wings and more Mac n cheese. But I also need to correct an error of mine. This review is based on our most recent visit. Ordered chicken wings, cheesesteak hoagie, collard greens, Mac n cheese, and beef patties. No complaints. I love their chicken. Good spice in the breading. We just got the wings this time. Very good. I'm always confused about the hard rolls they include. We never eat them. Usually hard as a rock. This was the first time getting a cheesesteak hoagie. Pretty good. If you order the plain cheesesteak they put a ton of ketchup and Mayo. It's an interesting sauce but sometimes too much. The collard greens are spicy but have large chunks of pork. Very good! Mac n cheese ok. I don't think it's homemade but maybe I'm wrong. Beef patties - I'm torn on these. Love the crust. Very spicy!! The meat has an awesome flavor. I have trouble with the texture. Almost wish they offered chicken patties. It's my personal preference because I'm not a huge beef person. I always order them because I love the flavor.
