The place is good, I landed in Philly and had to be in NJ for a few days. Driving to my hotel I found this place in a shopping mall, the local pizza joint. A great selection of interesting slices. I had Chicken Bacon Ranch, very good, buffalo, also good and a chicken with lettuce and stuff, you guessed it, also very good. read more

Villa Pizza - Three slices because I could not decide. All were good. - Pizza Near Me - Burlington, New Jersey

I've been going there for over 10 years. Apparently it sold a couple of months back. I've been in there a few times since it sold. Needless to say, service is not what it used to be. After today's botched service, I won't be going back. After waiting over 30 minutes for an eat in order, I approached the counter to find my food wrapped up like it was a to go order. I told them I didn't want it and asked for a refund. They seemed to indicate that it was my fault that the order was sitting there. After that exchange, I said there won't be a next time. He responded with: "That's OK, I don't need your money anyway" I feel like that whole exchange illustrates perfectly at how terrible the new owners are. I don't normally give bad reviews because ya never know if it was a one off, or just a bad day. But this is definitely a trend of bad service, and not giving a crap about their customers. It's ashame that my favorite pizza place in Burlington is now iff limits for me. read more

It was OK for late night pizza. We had 2 slices because they were already closing, so a little hard to give a huge review. Not bad, would try it again at an earlier time. read more

I was shopping at Home Goods & Ross and Villa Pizza was in the same plaza so, if a pizzeria is there I'm more than likely gonna pop in to see what it's talking about lol. Tried and true test for a first time visit to a pizzeria ... PLAIN CHEESE SLICE! I ordered 2 and Villa heated them up to my liking and they were absolutely SOLID! Thin and crispy, great cheese to sauce ratio and the pizzeria itself was frozen in time with their menu board and seating so, it was a true old school pizza parlor experience that I'll definitely come back for again! read more

This place used to be phenomenal. Villa got bought out and their ingredients were noticeably downgraded to maximize profits instead of quality and flavor. Service was ok but clearly not all the same since they have a new system and were a little frazzled with order numbers, I've only gone twice after they've been acquired and won't be back unless they switch back to the former superior ingredients. It seems a lot of the former employees are still there and it's sad that they probably can't even eat their own food anymore. I certainly can't eat it now. The food is edible, so you'll get two stars from me but it is not pleasant to eat. New owners, if you insist on serving sysco slop, ask yourself if 10% more profit is more important to you than a potential lifelong customer base that will find a better pizza spot. I say no. read more

Love the pizza. And service was quick. They have a good menu and I will try one of everything.

First time here. We got slice plain and mushroom. I didn't care for the cheese at all. The sauce was fine and the crust was thin and slightly crispy. Maybe because they were reheated. We didn't eat the second slice. I have heard good things about Villa but I didn't get them on a good day I guess. read more

I was inspired to come here from the glowing review of Ruth W. Ruth W. is a renowned food reviewer in my neck of the woods, so I thought I could trust her word. However, I couldn't be more disappointed. Ruth W. claimed this was her favorite pizza place and described the food as "beyond delicious." The pizza is mid at best. Ruth W., please broaden your horizons and try some REAL pizza, like Pizza Hut. One star for every bite I took out of this goddamned Ruth W. endorsed pizza pie. Oh, and I forgot to mention. This is how my pizza came. They ate my crust! And the tip! I smell a scandal... Was this the work of Ruth W.?? Good day to you. read more

Been ordering for decades. We didn't know the original owner sold the business until we ordered today. The sandwich was not good at all - made wrong. Ruined our dinner. We'll never go back again. read more

Every time I went here, the food was magnificent. This is by far my favorite pizza restaurant. They always have good food and good service.

Place has been a stable since 1988. I've been going there since then. Jason and his co partner I can't think of his name but he's an Italian guy from just outside of Naples Italy. Two great owners who created a beautiful business. Not a bad item on menu. I walked in the other day, I knew no one. I was shocked. I knew Jason for years to see. Then coached football with him for two years as our boys played midget ball. I do not want to bad mouth any place after one try. But definitely not the same. No where near. Say what you want it's just not. Why, I can't figure it out. Someone mentioned all the same recipes. Not even close. Here's the difference. Pizza places all over nj every where. Most are all about the same. They get all the same sauces cheeses etc. same distributors. It's the pizza places that venture off. And go with a different cheese blend other then traditional grande east coast blend, and same sauce etc. villa did just that. Their cheese had more of a sharp taste. Their sauce was like it is in Naples. They went above and beyond. They were more then just a regulation dime a dozen pizza joint in nj. Now these new owners they ll be fine. People eat pizza no matter what. But it wont ever be what it was Because recipes while they think are the same they aren't. Wish u all well. read more

Ordered two pies for the eagles Giants football game on Saturday night. Was able to get the pies exactly when we needed them. Walked in no wait to pick up. Staff was very friendly. Pizza was very good. We got one Sicilian and one plain pizza. The crust on both pizzas were just right. We had a lot left over from the Sicilian just because there's a lot of pieces. But it freezes up nicely and reheats well. read more

Great spot, in area for work. called in and picked up 10mins later. Meetball sub! Service was quick and pleasant. Glad I found it

When I say hole in the wall, this is it! I was in the mood for a slice of pie and I'm glad I stopped in. I had a slice of their meat pie. The sauce, cheeses, and crust where on point with just even meats on top. Friendly service for sure and reasonably priced. The only negative it's a grab and go kind of place and it's in a pretty run down Walmart strip mall. With that said I would be back for sure, just know it's to go only. There isn't any type of ambiance at all. read more

Villa Pizza - Sorry I took a bite before taking the photo! LOL. Slice of meat pie. - Pizza Near Me - Burlington, New Jersey

Decent pizza for the price. Tried the Sicilian pie and asked for it to be cooked extra well done as I saw another person order pizza this way. By the looks of some of the pictures the pizza looked really good so I ordered the same thing. I picked up and live 5 minutes away. Pizza was very hot, cooked as asked. Tomato sauce was decent, not anything to brag about. Decent out of cheese, but could have used just a little bit more flavor. However, compared to completion in the area, it's better than most. Customer service was friendly as well. Worth a try if any area. read more

Pizza was great. We ordered the 2 large cheese pies for $19.99 and they didn't disappoint. This is not a go out of your way place to get pizza but is a good bet if you want some solid Jersey pizza. The place is super old school but in a cool way. Definitely adding this place into our pizza rotation. read more

For a large pie and 2 huge specialty slices, $22. Feel like you can't beat that nowadays. Very quick service and super patient when I didn't have my full order ready, along with an amazing feel of an old mom and pop shop. First time here and won't be my last. read more

Just stopped by yesterday to see if the pizza was still as good as it was when I worked near there in the early 2000s, and it's actually even better! This time I was with my wife, who's from NYC and I thought it'd be interesting to see what she thought of it compared to NYC pizza. No surprises: she thought it was fantastic, thin, light and crisp with a great taste. Not too salty or greasy--just right! read more

Just ordered from here. Pizza with green peppers. Picked up a slice....it was soggy and wet. Gross

Villa Pizza is my favorite place in town, BUT I believe they have a new cook. I ordered the other night and my buffalo wings and sandwich were not of their usual quality. I was very disappointed. Hopefully it's better next time! read more

I just got penne vodka and a margarita pie from there the pizza was not fully cooked as in the dough wasn't even cooked through the cheese never even got to a melting point it was inedible and disgusting. The penne vodka tasted like they watered down the sauce as much as possible to the point you could just barely taste anything. We just threw it away a $30 lesson to never go there again read more

I always call ahead of time so I can pick-up my pizza pie on the way home from work. Unfortunately, when I arrive the pizza is never even close to ready/has not been prepared...I literally watch the worker make my pizza right in front of me when it should already be in the oven. Poor customer service - No one should ever have to wait more than an hour + for an order you already called ahead of time for. Also note, this poor experience with Villa Pizza was during a time where they had no customers sitting in the dining area/no customers walking-in/calling to make an order. Instead of preparing my order from when I called, they focused on making an abundant of "Rollatini" rolls which were already in excess for purchase. read more

We used to order from here for delivery more than 20 years ago when we lived in the area. When we moved a few towns away, we missed them! I will now pick it up every time I'm in Burlington heading home. Great food, great prices, Owner/manager always remembers you, and the staff is quick and super friendly. Relocated to South Jersey a year ago and haven't found a great Pizza spot until I cam across Villa! Let's start off with their Veggie Pizza! It's fresh, full of flavor, and over the top amazing with the fresh garlic slices! Sausage Pizza has become a staple in the household where they used crumbled sausage that allows all of the flavor to seep through the slices and it's not greasy! Family's all time favorite is their Garlic Hot Wings! We use the left over sauce to dip our crust in and eat the remaining garlic slices. They were even willing to make a heart shaped pizza that was delivered to my husband on his birthday! We are foodies and they are on top of the list! read more

Great Neighborhood pizzaria. The staff is very nice and friendly. Very clean. Meat lovers slice is fantastic. And now they accept Apple Pay!

Best pizza spot in NJ. Joe and Jason are the best and their pizza is even better. I recommend this pizzeria over any pizza spot.

Normally I have a good experience. Tonight (28 Feb 2019) there seemed to be a glitch in the Matrix. Called for a delivery order, I was on hold for 6 minutes. When I called back, the guy taking the order had an attitude when I asked is that standard for customers to be on hold for 6 minutes. Their customer service has fallen on the last few months. They now rate 2 stars! read more

In a town with several other franchise pizza places, it can be very difficult to survive. Villa Pizza has found a way, by mixing great food with exceptional service and friendship. They make the best pizza in the Burlington area, for a price that won't hurt the wallet. They make tons of other items, hoagies, pasta, appatizers, etc. The pizza however, is what keeps people coming back. They will put just about anything on a pizza. Their best pizza by far is their four cheese, you MUST try it. If you're a long time customer they will usually take some off the bill or give you some things for free. They are more about service than profit. I wish I could write more for this review, but it just doesn't seem like words can do it, so you gotta go try it for yourself. read more

I've searched this whole area for some good pizza over the past 3 years that I've lived in the Mount Holly area. I've reviewed two other decent places like Rossanos and Little Shop of Pizza (which owns this location as well) however, Villa Pizza is my new go to pizza place. I stopped in to grab 2 slices because I was in the area, it was lunch time and I had been meaning to give them a try to awhile. I got a slice of plain and a slice of white. Both were delicious!!! The plain slice had a great sauce, just enough cheese and such a perfect crust. This is true NJ pizza. The crust was crisp, chewy and had an all around good flavor. The white slice had ricotta spread in a thin layer then topped with mozzarella. Any time I've had white pizza ricotta was always plopped on top in clumps. I hate that. Villa Pizza has the perfect white slice. It seemed to have more mozzarella than the regular plain slice. I am a convert and will come here from now on! Also, they have specials where a few nights a week you can get a large plain pie for $8.99! read more

SSSLAMING! Salads, excellent. Apps, excellent. Sandwiches, excellent. Dinners, fuggetaboutit! You can't beat this food. I haven't had anything less than great food at this place. And the little treats they always have out front behind the glass counter,, I can't even start to tell you how amazing they are. Try it, but when you find yourself going back there three times a week, dont blame me. All the guys there put in alot of hours, and the proof is on the taste buds. Im going to pick up my penne w/meat sauce, and garlic knots now. Oh, and a couple of the pizza strips they have out front. ADDICTING! read more
